Protesters dressed as KKK members dragged

WASHINGTON — Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) had barely entered the room for his Attorney General confirmation hearing when he was met by protesters. A pair of men dressed as KKK members jumped up on their seats in the back of the Senate hearing room the moment Sessions walked in, adopting seemingly fake southern accents to troll the controversial senator. "Thank you so much for being here for the people. White people don´t get arrested. You can´t arrest me, I´m white! What do we have to do, wait for the inauguration? This is craziness!" one of the men said as he

How do these haters get into the hearing room? I suspect the answer is this: They´ve been given visitors´ passes by their DEMOCRAT legislators.

There should be a penalty for any congressperson who has given admittance to a "protestor" who disrupts a hearing. E.g., take away that congressperson´s privilege of awarding the passes.

At a hearing some years ago, a Code Pink nutter approached Condi Rice with "bloody" hands, and got within inches of Secretary Rice. It was terrifying to watch.

I agree there needs to be a serious investigation on how these people got past security and WHO aided them. This is not one bit amusing. Ryan needs to get tough on some of these outlandious actions the Democrats are doing (the police "art" piece, for example.). We deserve better from our Congress.

BERKELEY, Calif. — Pablo Gomez Jr. was a University of California, Berkeley, senior majoring in Latino studies and a prominent campus activist when authorities say he stabbed to death a popular elementary-school teacher. Soon, the crime that police described as "very brutal and unusual" in a city that reported just two homicides last year was sucked up into the debate over gender identity when it was reported that Gomez preferred to be called "they" rather than "he." Even in famously liberal Berkeley, with its long history of protest, the uproar came as a surprise, overwhelming the online news site, www.berkeleyside.com,

Two fault zones that were thought to be separate actually make up one continuous fault system running through San Diego, Orange and Los Angeles counties, according to new research. If all the offshore and onshore segments of the so-called Newport-Inglewood/Rose Canyon fault system were to rupture at once, a magnitude 7.4 earthquake could seize the region. “The size of an earthquake is directly related to the length of the fault that’s rupturing — the longer the fault, the larger the earthquake,” said Valerie Sahakian, a researcher at the United States Geological Survey, who led the study as a postdoctoral researcher

Muslims in London were reacting with anger and frustration to the resurfacing of stereotypes about adherents to their religion following the apparent Islamic State group terror attack near Parliament on Wednesday. The first cocktail party at Barack Obama’s new office last month was certainly more casual than any he had hosted in recent years. The wine bore a random assortment of labels, as if assembled potluck-style. The self-serve appetizers were set out in the narrow hallway. The host, tieless, eschewed formal remarks, as a few dozen of his old administration officials — Joe Biden and former chief of staff Denis McDonough, as well as more junior ones — mingled in a minimalist wood-paneled suite that could be mistaken for a boutique law firm. “It was a bit of a shock to

On a recent episode of her show, The Mindy Project, Mindy Kaling’s character Mindy Lahari made a dig at Newark — and it caught the attention of the city’s former mayor and current New Jersey Senator Cory Booker.
