Democrats plan a marathon of talks Monday night in an attempt to stymie Republican efforts to repeal Obamacare. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., announced the night-long protest would be held Monday. Democrats will deliver floor speeches throughout the night that will be streamed on Facebook Live. The marathon of speeches comes the same week as the Senate considers final passage of a budget resolution that would jumpstart Obamacare repeal. The resolution directs spending levels for the next decade and directs several committees to start drafting Obamacare repeal legislation by Jan. 27. Stay abreast of the latest

Comments:
I distinctly remember the feeling of such relief and joy after Trump won and we didn´t have to suffer through a criminal Clinton presidency. Now all the chaos, hatred and condescension has returned because of the outrageous, low class behavior of the Democrats. It´s so exhausting and upsetting.

Let them. They are just cementing what most of the country thinks of them. Infantile Traitors. It will do no good, except to push more people to Trump. And that is good.

"U.S. Senate Democrats Accuse Republicans of "Repeal and Run" in Late Night Health Care Debate”

Senate Democrats take to the floor this evening to chide Republican efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act without first offering a replacement. Republicans may also come to the floor to rebut on the issue. Tonight’s debate could go past midnight.

Now on C-Span 2.

The Democrats really don´t care what the American taxpayer voted for. All they care about is the Party. We voted against Obamacare. Get rid of it once and for all. Come on, Republicans. Get a backbone and let´s get started.

The best replacement for ObamaCare is a free market system where government has a small, supporting role.

Democrats believe that the massive, failed, government-mandated ObamaCare law must be replaced by another massive government-run law.

As usual. they are out of touch with reality and the will of the voters.

Why is the GOP now directing committees to draft repeal legislation by Jan 27? They said last year they had all this ready and would proceed day one. I think they were sworn in Jan 2.

Thanks to the incompetent machinations of Pelosi when she was Speaker, the democrats do indeed own this totally. Even though 70% of the American public was against this, she shoved it down our throats.

So all this nonsense about how republicans will own this is just rusty bilge water and balloon juice from a party that is on the banana peel covered slope to political oblivion.

Let them protest and clutch their pearls. The GOP isn´t going to roll over for them this time. Trump will not allow it. Hehehehehehe

WASHINGTON — Democratic Missouri Rep. Lacy Clay wants to file a theft charge with Capitol Hill Police against Republican California Rep. Duncan Hunter for removing a painting in the capitol that depicts police officers as pigs. Clay told reporters Monday night that police spoke to his chief of staff earlier in the day and have not been helpful to the congressman in his quest to file charges against Hunter. “I think he was way out of bounds and he broke the law. It’s called theft,” Clay said. “I don’t think anyone up here is qualified to be an art critic. I’m not

Iranian-supplied rockets killed as many as 15 U.S. troops per month in Iraq in the summer of 2011, and Marine Corps Gen. James Mattis had a plan to retaliate. The Obama administration denied his request. Six U.S. soldiers were killed in a single such attack in early June of 2011, with another three killed just weeks later. Mattis, then the commander of U.S. Central Command, had had enough and decided the U.S. must strike back before the Iranian rockets caused further bloodshed. The painting was selected to hang in the Capitol by the office of Congressman William Lacy Clay, Democrat from Missouri. Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn (F, 45%) did far more than any of his Republican colleagues in the Senate to fight for a deal that vastly enriched the Islamic supremacist nation of Iran. In his dealings with President Obama, Corker authored the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015, which undermined the Senate’s treaty power in the Constitution. He provided a path for President Obama to hand over an estimated $150 billion to the mullahs in Tehran, and now Corker wants to make sure his legacy legislation stands. Sen. Corker wants President-elect Donald Trump to stick with his nuclear deal, which puts

If you tire of delicious cookies and moderate, yet capable instruction in things like horseback riding, camping, entrepreneurship and first-aid, the Girl Scouts now have a “radical” alternative—a social justice-focused, feminist organization for young girls called the “Radical Monarchs.” The Guardian describes the Radical Monarchs as a “youth group for girls of color,” and “radical Brownies.” But the small group of 12 girls and two adult guides (based, of course, just outside of San Francisco), says they’re more about empowerment and activism than badges and Thin Mints. Donald Trump has hit back at Meryl Streep calling her a ´Hillary lover´ after her Golden Globes acceptance speech took aim at the president-elect. Streep, who was honored with the Cecil B. She said the moment he mocked and humiliated a disabled reporter ´broke her heart´ as Streep labelled it the year´s most stunning performance. Trump told the New York Times early Monday that he had not seen Streep´s speech or the Golden Globes coverage. Trump told the New York Times early Monday that he

Turning attention away from her and toward Donald J. Trump, Meryl Streep used her acceptance speech for the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globes to call out the president-elect for appearing to mock a disabled New York Times reporter in 2015, and warned that a free press would need to be defended. Ms. Streep campaigned for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election. Some conservative commentators immediately criticized her decision to bring politics so vividly into the show. But the room roundly applauded her remarks, which included a plea to support the Committee to Protect Journalists.

And the reason is a remarkable one considering that she and her husband, President Obama, are America´s first African-American presidential couple. According to top adviser Valerie Jarrett, Obama is invisible because she is black. In her new book about the importance of black mothers in America and how they walk a tightrope in society, White House correspondent April Ryan revealed that Jarrett

The Gold Star father who blasted Donald Trump at the Democratic convention this summer is returning to the national stage this week, firing off a letter demanding the Senate reject Sen. Jeff Sessions, Mr. Trump’s attorney general nominee. Khizr Khan, the Pakistan-born father of a U.S. Army captain killed in the Iraq war, said his son’s service was a rejection of people like Mr. Sessions, who he accused of associating with racially divisive and ‘intensely anti-Muslim” groups. Mr. Khan also said Mr. Sessions has defended proposals “that would single Muslim immigrants out for discriminatory treatment on the basis of their religious beliefs.” “My
