Gold Star father Khan blasts
Sessions as ‘anti-Muslim’

Washington Times, by Stephen Dinan

Original Article

The Gold Star father who blasted Donald Trump at the Democratic convention this summer is returning to the national stage this week, firing off a letter demanding the Senate reject Sen. Jeff Sessions, Mr. Trump’s attorney general nominee. Khizr Khan, the Pakistan-born father of a U.S. Army captain killed in the Iraq war, said his son’s service was a rejection of people like Mr. Sessions, who he accused of associating with racially divisive and ‘intensely anti-Muslim” groups. Mr. Khan also said Mr. Sessions has defended proposals “that would single Muslim immigrants out for discriminatory treatment on the basis of their religious beliefs.” “My

With all due respect to his gold star status, I would opine that his mind is so narrow that he could probably see through a key hole with both eyes.

As Bo Schembechler famously said, "The TEAM, The TEAM, The TEAM!" All these clowns can think is: ´The PARTY, The Party, The PARTY!´

I feel bad he lost his son, but any article that doesn´t point out that he makes his living as an immigration lawyer, is a big supporter of Sharia law, isn´t really telling the full story. His profession will be negatively affected by DJT´s immigration policies that he campaigned on. There are several videos of this man touting Sharia law, how it should be the law of OUR land, and a bunch of other 7th century, non-western thinking ideas that aren´t exactly compatible with modern civilized societies. A bit disappointed the Times didn´t point any of this out.

So one muslin dies in the service of his country and that gives a free pass to every other Muslim to come to the USA and try to destroy it with it´s 7th century cult startied by a pedofile murder, Mohammed. Sorry for your loss but shame on you for using his death to push your anti American agenda. Go back to the sand hill you came from.

This is only the beginning. Dems will be dragging out ANYONE who got any traction in public opinion to try to resurrect old and dead concerns. That is dem MO, to make as much mess as they can and throw things around to see if anything sticks. The media will wail and moan and nash its teeth.

The thing to remember is that it´s ALL garbage, especially if it´s old stuff. If there had been anything to it to begin with it would have stuck around when it originally came up.

The dems and media are going to be wallowing in the mud. Their actions need to be confronted but we shouldn´t let them derail things because THAT is their true purpose and only power. Keep things moving.

What an endorsement of Sessions. Muslims should be singled out for discriminatory (to
recognize a distinction; differentiate) treatment based on their religious beliefs, if those beliefs include killing or subjugating those they consider infidels. Since these are basic commandments of islam, why should we not have the right to know if its followers subscribe to it?

He is using his son´s death to push his political points which does not deserve any more consideration because of his loss than any other parent. Donald Trump could immediately set the record correct again that Obama violated the Constitution when he declared the United States Of American was no longer a Christian Nation.
This gave all persona who want only our land the idea they can force their culture and laws while on us trying to destroy the foundations we certified our freedom and rights upon.
The Gold star symbol is only a tool to Mr. Khan not an honor given to his son by his nation. The nation he choose for his life --not his fathers.

Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D., Ca.) says the darndest things. Since President Trump won the election, Rep. Waters has not hesitated to be an outspoken critic of his administration. She refused to go to his inauguration, stated publicly that she doesn´t want to work with him, called him a dictator, and even called for his impeachment less than a month into his presidency. Here are some of the unusual things Waters has said since the election: (Snip) 3. When she called Trump and his aides a bunch of ‘s*umbags.´ "This is a bunch of s*umbags. That´s what they are." 4. The Trump administration Wednesday revoked federal guidelines issued by former President Barack Obama that allowed public school students to use restrooms and other facilities corresponding to their gender identity. A document submitted to the Supreme Court by the Solicitor General´s office said that the Obama-era directive issued this past May did not "undergo any formal public process" or explain how the directive was "consistent with the express language of Title IX," the federal law outlawing sex discrimination in education and activities. "Congress, state legislatures, and local governments are in a position to adopt appropriate policies or laws addressing this issue,"

Mika Brzezinski, co-host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, had an unfortunate turn of phrase the other day. She said it’s the mission of the press to “control exactly what people think.” My suspicion is that this was less a Freudian slip than a simple slip-up. Brzezinski was referring to her fear that President Trump may be trying to control the way people think by discrediting the media — whom he calls “enemies of the American people” — and she lost her rhetorical footing, stumbling into saying that mind control is “our job.” But the misstatement resonated with a lot of people,

Astronomers have spotted a star system with planets that could support life just 39 light years away. Seven Earth-like planets have been discovered orbiting nearby dwarf star ´Trappist-1´, and all of them could have water at their surface, one of the key components of life. Three of the planets have such good conditions, that scientists say life may have already evolved on them. Researchers claim that they will know whether or not there is life on any of the planets within a decade, and said ´this is just the beginning.´ No other star system discovered before has been found to

State Rep. La Shawn Ford (D-Chicago) said he is drafting legislation that would rename the majority of Interstate 55 in Illinois as the “Barack Obama Expressway.” According to a statement from his office, Ford will propose renaming the stretch of the expressway from the Tri-State Tollway to East St. Louis. “Renaming I-55 for President Barack Obama would not only be an honor for America’s 44th president, but it will be the right measure we should approve for Illinois’ very own state Senator and U.S. Senator,” Ford said in a statement. Between the Tri-State and Lake Shore Drive, the expressway bears

In San Francisco, an Indian software engineer on a work permit canceled plans to bid on a $900,000 home. In Washington, a Brazilian nonprofit executive passed on a fixer-upper near her office. And, in Mesa, Arizona, a 24-year-old son of undocumented Mexican immigrants won the trust of a bank -- a green light for a mortgage -- but now fears deportation. President Donald Trump’s immigration policies threaten to crack a foundation of the American economy: the residential real estate market. Legal and otherwise, immigrants, long a pillar of growth in homebuying, are no longer feeling the warm welcome and optimism

A THR and National Research Group survey reveals how little the average moviegoing citizen knows about this year´s Oscars. Yes, you read that headline correctly — come hell or high water, six out of 10 Americans could not name a single best picture nominee, according to a new poll commissioned by The Hollywood Reporter that canvassed moviegoers on both sides of the political fence. But, hidden in the figures, there is some good news for the Academy: Seven in 10 respondents say they’ll be watching the Oscars anyway. (Video) THR’s poll — conducted by the National Research Group, which in

The journalists at CBS This Morning on Wednesday openly fretted that Donald Trump’s new immigration orders “could create a climate of fear” for illegal “citizens.” (Yes, co-host Gayle King used the word “citizen.”) Talking to USA Today bureau chief Susan Page, Anthony Mason worried, “This could create a climate of fear in the immigrant community, if it hasn´t already.” Page agreed, “I think it has.” She justified, “Remember that two-thirds of illegal immigrants have been here at least a decade. So, they´re really part of the fabric of our life. Although, admittedly, they´re here illegally.” King insisted, “But they´ve been
