One Silicon Valley executive had a few choice words to describe Americans living in the heart of the nation, and they were not flattering. Melinda Byerley, MBA and founder of Timeshare CMO, a Silicon Valley-based tech start-up, tweeted out Saturday afternoon describing what middle America could do to “get more jobs in their area.” Byerley says that the first thing those in middle America need to realize is that “no educated person wants to live in a sh**hole with stupid people.” Particularly, in a “sh**hole” filled with people who are “violent, racist, and/or misogynistic.” In Byerley’s opinion, “big corporations,” do
Comments: The arrogance and stupidity of sick morons like her is absolutely stunning. These people are so tedious. You note she doesn´t utter a peep about the murder and violence in Chicago. Who would want to live in that Democrat run sh**hole?? And they wonder why Trump won. He was the only one who spoke directly to the American people and not lie to them every single day like the criminal Clinton.
I wish that she loses everything she has, house, money, business, health insurance and become homeless. Then, let´s see if she is now violent, stupid and racist. Oh, I cannot tell you how mad they make me.
What a shame she doesn´t want to live in rural America....s/o I think we will continue with our backwards ways if it prevents folks like her from moving anywhere near us. She can keep her urban hellhole and all the taxes and regulations of her Dem run state.
So says Melinda, a denizen of the Idiocracy called the ´left coast´. She must fall into that category of people that are so stupid, they think they are smart. And I´ll be certain not to invest any money in ´Timeshare CMO´ IPOs (should they ever be offered) as it likely won´t last long with a person like that running it.
I am with #7. I don´t want people like her moving to my middle America town. I actually live in Georgia but she means every state that voted for Trump.
She and others like her are the reason Trump won....selfish, sanctimonious and unbelievably arrogant. They turned off people who are actually the backbone of this country. Keep it up...it only helps us deplorables keep power.
Does this person have any idea of the sh*t storm that her tween has stirred up. Not to mention a revelation of the depth of her own closed minded biases. Talk about projection of true hatred. I could see her happily setting up or at least endorsing lethal re-education camps with a sign over the gate saying "work makes you free".
It works to our advantage to have liberals all jammed together into slender pieces of land, surrounded by ‘scary’ red territory. They’ll never regain the House, and never win the electoral college that way.
If Melinda paid a little more attention to her surroundings when she steps out of her Uber, perhaps she would realize liberals are have turned San Fran into a “sh**hole”
San Fran has incredible city revenues due to the tech boom. INCREDIBLE. Yet more homeless, homeless sh!tt!ng on the street, open drug use, generalized filth are worse every time I go there. Meanwhile, middle/lower income types are forced out due to insane housing costs. The city has been run by ultralibs for decades, now stocked with limitless tax revenue, yet the city is become an open sewer.
watch out Texans!!! California´s moving to your state. You might say "Oh good." Nothing good happens when they migrate to another state. Trying to escape "the state (CA)" brings chaos and those like-minded bigots, the author of this article being one. Being a proud deplorable I say phie on the dog´s mother for her vicious assumptions of our fellow Americans. May 10k fleas invade every hairy spot on her body.
I grew up in Cupertino, now home of Apple computer, and after returning from the Army, I couldn´t get out of there fast enough. The home I grew up in was torn down to build a palace for some Silicon Valley elite with too much money.
As Melinda describes it, "a sh**hole with too many stupid people." It would take 2 hours to drive the 10 miles to work in the morning. After the first hour, you´re ready to start committing some Road Rage... but then, I´m just one of those violent, racist and misogynistic rural hicks. I haven´t been educated to be tolerant and diverse like Ms. Byerley.
I would love for Mexican Brown people to thrive, in their own country. If they´re Americans, I want them to thrive no matter what their color. I´ll bet the brown people she wants to thrive are her gardener, her maid, her cook, her nanny...
Shhhhhhh... don´t ANYbody tell Mel that we´re perfectly happy here in the *&%$holes of America. I wouldn´t want her/it/ze/zur/ whatever, or any of her cohorts to ever remotely consider moving to my town. As prior posters have stated, the places these people consider ideal are the true *&%$holes of this country.
A judge just declared taxpayers must give money to a city that refuses to enforce federal immigration law while at the same time refusing to give any redress for the family of dead Kate Steinle due to that same sanctuary city policy. Judge William Orrick, a legacy of the liberal gentry whose grandfather founded one of the big corporate law firms in San Francisco, whose father also sat on the federal bench (and the left complains of “nepotism”?), and who, according to Public Citizen, bundled nearly a quarter of a million for Obama’s campaigns, blocked Trump’s executive order defunding sanctuary
The hecklers used their veto. Conservative commentator Ann Coulter told Fox News on Wednesday she would no longer give a planned speech at UC Berkeley after Young America’s Foundation pulled its support for the event amid threats of violence, calling her decision "a dark day for free speech in America." (Snip) But by Wednesday YAF had “actively” opposed Coulter’s speech, she said, and “ordered the lawyer not [to] file for [a] court order” which would have mandated a room for the talk. The college Republicans are bound by YAF’s decision, Coulter said, “so there’s nothing more I can do.” “I looked over
Publishers are in a massive bidding war for the Fox News host´s project — a funny and provocative take on America´s current state of affairs. (Snip) A publishing source told The Hollywood Reporter that Carlson has made the rounds of about a dozen publishers to talk about the proposal, which has generated enthusiastic responses. The winning offer could reach $15 million. Carlson is represented by Matt Latimer and Keith Urbahn at Javelin, a D.C.-based literary agency. Latimer told Buzzfeed, which first reported that Carlson was shopping a book, “Tucker’s is easily the most sought-after book by a news personality in
Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Ajit Pai revealed Wednesday his plans for rolling back net neutrality, one of the most controversial items up for consideration at the agency. During a speech at the Newseum in Washington, D.C., Pai said he plans hand regulatory jurisdiction of broadband providers back to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), an agency that critics argue is less prepared to handle them than Pai’s is. Originally passed under Tom Wheeler’s chairmanship, the net neutrality rules -- more formally referred to as the Open Internet Order of 2015 -- set restrictions on internet service providers (ISPs) prioritizing certain
Antifa protesters loves them some violence. From punching people with cameras to rioting because you don´t like who is talking. A few times, apparently. So, leave it to the New York Times to run an op-ed that seems to argue that the rioters who disrupt speech of those they disagree with are the true guardians of free speech. The recent student demonstrations at Auburn against Spencer’s visit — as well as protests on other campuses against Charles Murray, Milo Yiannopoulos and others — should be understood as an attempt to ensure the conditions of free speech for a greater group of
Conservative commentator Ann Coulter has canceled her speech planned for this week at the University of California´s Berkeley campus after a dispute with school officials, who feared violent protests, over whether a safe venue could be found. "There will be no speech," the best-selling author wrote in an email to Reuters on Wednesday in which she also criticized two conservative groups who had originally sponsored the event, saying they were no longer supporting her. "I looked over my shoulder and my allies had joined the other team," she wrote. Coulter, one of the best-known conservative commentators in the United States,
California´s attorney general insisted that the jurisdictions within the state are locking up dangerous illegal immigrants despite the Trump administration´s argument that sanctuary cities endanger public safety. Xavier Becerra, former chairman of the House Democratic Caucus who was appointed to fill the attorney general´s post vacated by now-Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), told CNN on Tuesday after a federal judge granted an injunction against the administration´s vow to strip all federal funding from sanctuary cities that the White House is "in denial." "You just have to read the constitution. It´s very simple. You can´t force states to do things that the
All eyes these days are on North Korea, but menacing as Kim & Co. may be, a nuclear-armed Iran is yet more dangerous. The North Koreans may rattle cages and stomp their feet, shooting off missiles and even testing bombs, but their intentions so far are mainly to retain their atrocious despotic control of their own people. The Iranians, both through their ideology and evident actions in progress across the globe, are truly imperialistic in their intentions. They seek to rule the Middle East, if not the world, in the name of their millenialist brand of Shia Islam. That is
The Pentagon has agreed to formally review an anti-terror training program taught to special forces by a private contractor for material deemed offensive to Islam and Muslims, even though the Muslim group that lodged a complaint against the allegedly “Islamophobic” program has been accused by the Justice Department of supporting terrorism and is currently banned from outreach activities by the FBI. The instructor hired to teach the program says he fears his class might not get a fair hearing, because military brass have assigned the review to a Muslim military chaplain who graduated from a radical Saudi-funded Islamic school raided
The University of California hid a stash of $175 million in secret funds while its leaders requested more money from the state, an audit released on Tuesday said. The San Francisco Chronicle reported that the audit found that the secret fund ballooned due to UC Office of the President overestimating how much is needed to run the school system that includes 10 campuses in the state. Janet Napolitano, the former Department of Homeland Security chief, is in charge of the school system. Napolitano denied the audit’s claim. She reportedly said the money was held for any unexpected expenses. Her office
Christopher Steele, the former British spy who wrote the infamous anti-Donald Trump dossier, acknowledges that a sensational charge his sources made about a tech company CEO and Democratic Party hacking is unverified. In a court filing, Mr. Steele also says his accusations against the president and his aides about a supposed Russian hacking conspiracy were never supposed to be made public, much less posted in full on a website for the world to see on Jan. 10. He defends himself by saying he was betrayed by his client and that he followed proper internal channels by giving the dossier to
Eleven Fox News employees, including a former host of Fox and Friends, filed suit against the network on Tuesday, alleging that they have faced ´hostile racial discrimination´ from Bill O´Reilly, Roger Ailes and other top executives for years. (Snip) Fox News said they ´vehemently deny´ the race discrimination allegations and told DailyMail.com they will vigorously fight the cases, Former Fox and Friends co-host Kelly Wright, a veteran reporter at the network was one of the employees to join the class action discrimination lawsuit on Tuesday, bringing the total number of plaintiffs to 11. Another former employee, Adasa Blanco, also filed
SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge in San Francisco has blocked a Trump administration order to withhold funding from communities that limit cooperation with U.S. immigration authorities. U.S. District Judge William Orrick issued the temporary ruling Tuesday in a lawsuit over the executive order targeting so-called sanctuary cities. The decision will stay in place while the lawsuit moves through court. The Republican president’s administration and two California governments that sued over the order disagreed about its scope. San Francisco and Santa Clara County argued that it threatened billions of dollars in federal funding. But an attorney for the Justice Department,
Barack Obama has agreed to a $400,000 fee for speaking to a prominent Wall Street firm, according to Charlie Gasparino of the Fox Business Network. Former president Obama will speak to a health care conference sponsored by Cantor Fitzgerald in September, Gasparino reports. (Tweet/Video) The huge fee puts Obama at the top of the list of speaking fees for former government officials. Former Fed chair Ben Bernanke charges between $200,000 and $400,000, former Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner charges $200,000, and former President George Bush charges around $150,000, according to a person familiar with the matter. Hillary Clinton received over $200,000
It was a message repeated several times at a Democrat news conference Tuesday afternoon: Republicans, agree with us on a spending bill, or we’ll blame you for shutting down the government. And it appears that Republicans, who control all three branches of government, are listening: “Now last night, we received a bit of good news -- not just for Democrats but for the country – that the president is easing off his demands for a border wall in the government funding bill,” Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) told the news conference. “The money is better used elsewhere,” Schumer said. “If the
Monday on MSNBC former Obama White House press secretary Josh Earnest said former President Barack Obama would come back to the political debate if President Donald Trump crosses “red lines” such as using information from deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) applications to deport so-called DREAMers. (Snip) “I think what would motivate President Obama to re-engage in the political debate is if we saw the federal government start to cross some clear red lines in terms of long observed norms and values that frankly I think we have started to take for granted. One example that President Obama has himself
The “Antifa” far left Communist group has managed to get an entire parade and carnival canceled in Portland because the Multnomah County Republicans were going to be in the parade. (Photo) The communists threatened to riot, loot, assault people at the parade. The festival people decided to cancel the entire weekend of activities, which was going to be this weekend due to the threats of violence by the leftist group. The Antifa group promised to rush the parade and drag away the Republicans. “We will have two hundred or more people rush into the parade into the middle and drag
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.—I’m loving all these Ancestry.com commercials where dim-witted actors say, “I thought I was a Tahitian Eskimo Mexican until I sent in my DNA test kit, and boy was I flummoxed when the results came back! I’m really Croatian with a mix of sub-Saharan! I guess I’ll be turning in my furry hat!” This is a scam I’m thoroughly in favor of, because it reveals, once and for all, the dirty secret of American politics: Race doesn’t exist! Don’t get me wrong. I don’t believe for a second that these tests mean anything. If you believe that DNA patterns
A group of executives who want to fight global warming has published a new report calling for countries to spend up to $600 billion a year over the next two decades to boost green energy deployment and energy efficiency equipment. [SNIP] To meet that goal ETC claims the world needs “investment in renewables and other low-carbon technologies some $6 trillion higher ($300 billion per year); while the largest required increases – of almost $9 trillion ($450 billion per year) – will be in more efficient energy saving equipment and buildings.” That’s a $15 trillion price tag to theoretically limit future
Liberal activist and Hollywood director Rob Reiner slammed President Donald Trump on Monday and suggested that Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election was the "greatest attack" on American democracy since Japan´s attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. "We´ve had the greatest attack of this democracy since 1941, and we have to understand that," Reiner said on MSNBC. Reiner also suggested that American society might collapse given the pressure Russia placed on democratic institutions in the country. Japan drew the United States into World War II after attacking its naval base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on December 7, 1941, killing
A vicious brawl, involving more than 50 teenage boys and girls, erupted at a Florida mall. The disturbing video of the fight was shared on social media, featuring a large group of teens pummeling each other outside a Rue 21 clothing store inside Orange Park Mall. The Clay County Sheriff´s Office said the incident happened Saturday. In the footage, several people are seen punching a girl on a couch. Behind them another group is seen fighting as a woman appears to try and calm things down. A third and fourth group of teens are also seen fighting in the background.
Chelsea Clinton urged the importance of fighting hunger as she was honored at a New York charity gala on Tuesday night. The former First Daughter, who is a Vice Chair of the Clinton Foundation, was presented with the City Harvest Award for Commitment for her support of the organization through volunteering with the Clinton Foundation´s Day of Action program. She wore a colorful patterned dress, black cardigan and nude heels to the event on Tuesday, which was also attended by Chrissy Teigen, actress Bridget Moynahan, Real Housewives Of New York star Bethenny Frankel and domestic goddess Martha Stewart.
Dirty denim is the new black, selling for hundreds of dollars at pricy retailers like Nordstrom. Nordstrom is offering "heavily distressed," muddy jeans for $425 on its web site. Nordstrom says that the jeans "embody rugged, Americana workwear that´s seen some hard-working action with a crackled, caked-on muddy coating that shows you´re not afraid to get down and dirty." The mud has a shiny sheen to it, as if the jeans were dragged down a filthy hill and left in a wet ditch. The filthy fashion statement isn´t actually new -- the jeans have been for sale at Nordstrom as well as at Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue for quite some time.
Passengers on a Bay Area Rapid Transit train were robbed, and in some cases beaten, when dozens of juveniles stormed aboard the train and forced them to give up their property, police said. The incident happened at 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the Coliseum Station in Oakland aboard a Dublin/Pleasanton-bound train. BART Police said witnesses reported 50 to 60 juveniles jumping the fare gates and going to the platform.
