Fake News Plus Fascism: New York
Times Urges Boycott of Breitbart

Breitbart Big Government, by Joel B. Pollak

Original Article

Posted By:Judy W., 1/8/2017 8:12:07 PM

In two op-ed articles for the New York Times‘ Sunday Review, the Gray Lady attacks Breitbart News and its founder, Andrew Breitbart, and encourages an effort to “destroy” the company by appealing directly to advertisers not to support the website. One article, “How to Destroy the Business Model of Breitbart and Fake News,” written by someone actually called “Pagan Kennedy” (was “Antichrist Roosevelt” not available?) celebrates the flagging effort of anonymous Twitter trolls who have tried to target and intimidate companies whose ads appear alongside Breitbart News articles, via third party platforms. These would-be censors of the totalitarian left have decided that

So, someone explain this to me. It´s obvious to anyone with half a brain the only people who would heed this call-to-arms are people who don´t patronize Breitbart in the first place. So, is it just a feel good gesture? A self-congratulatory move? A masturbatory, sociopolitical ritual? Truly, I don´t understand this kind of thinking & behavior.

Wouldn´t this constant battle mode make you tired? Angry, all the time? Thoroughly depressed and despairing? And, if so, wouldn´t´ you want to change that behavior? What a dark, dark place these people inhabit.

Breitbart should have a donate button. If the Times is successful in greatly decreasing Breitbart´s advertising base, then we will support the site directly. I would gladly pay to read the news there. Meanwhile, I never click on the NYT or Wapo articles. Generally, you can search for the information and read a better written article elsewhere. Sorry to say, but Wapo has recently gone right down the NYT hole. Startlingly biased propaganda.

The Slimes is jealously protecting their fake news franchise.

From their rules: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.

Breitbart is a threat to liberal hegemony. Where liberals attack it is where their enemies have been most effective.

We could suggest a counter boycott of the Slimes but why bother. No one believes what they are saying anyway.

Under different circumstances, Alabama civil rights lawyer Morris S. Dees and American Enterprise Institute scholar Charles Murray might have been colleagues, even pals. Instead, Murray found himself in a near-riot at Middlebury College after accepting a speaking invitation from Republican students at the Vermont school. (Snip) Dees also started a nonprofit, which he named the Southern Poverty Law Center. But he gave up neither the high life nor the direct-mail business. Are you now, or have you ever been, a “hate group”? This is the question at the heart of an attempt to delegitimize and suppress views regarding immigration held by a large share of the American public. Since 2007, the Southern Poverty Law Center has methodically added mainstream organizations critical of current immigration policy to its blacklist of “hate groups,” including the Federation for American Immigration Reform, the Immigration Reform Law Institute and Californians for Population Stabilization, among others. In February, my own organization, the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), got its turn. he wickedness of the SPLC’s blacklist lies in the

The former mayor of Washington, D.C., Adrian Fenty, and Michelle Rhee, the school chancellor he installed, took heat for their aggressive school reforms, but a new study vindicates their controversial evaluations of teachers. From 2007 to 2010, Rhee implemented a student-focused teacher-evaluation system called IMPACT, which relies heavily on student performance to judge teachers. The city still uses the system, and new data indicate that it has helped keep the best teachers and improve academic achievement. IMPACT is a system in which teachers are rated annually. It’s based half on student achievement and half on four other job-performance factors. Teachers

Part of Barack Obama’s legacy is his ability to steamroll his opposition. (Snip) Indeed, if anything, the 2010 election results and anti-Obama sentiment should have made Republican resistance firmer, but instead it was shallow and weak. Former Rep. Steve Stockman (R-TX) says this is partly because “the administration was abusing the Department of Justice to bankrupt, harass, and punish many of Obama’s political opponents.” At one point, Obama’s Department of Justice (DOJ) was actively investigating one-third of GOP governors. The Office of Congressional Ethics “investigated” 30 GOP congressmen, then DOJ investigated at least a dozen. Some familiar names were pushed out

Before the inauguration, Donald Trump and Preet Bharara met and an agreement was struck that would keep US Attorney Bharara in his current position in New York under a new Trump administration. New York Senator Charles Schumer was instrumental in getting Bharara appointed to that position and in return was asked from time to time to do favors for the senator and his allies. Up until recently, President Trump had no idea what was really going on. Once President Trump’s staff understood the quid pro quo, they had no choice but to ask for Bharara’s resignation. Responding Monday to critics of the Palestine plank in a platform devoted to women’s rights, Palestinian-American activist Linda Sarsour, an organizer of January’s Women’s March on Washington who also helped plan the Women’s Strike, came forth with a harsh message: feminism and Zionism simply don’t go together. “It just doesn’t make any sense for someone to say, ‘Is there room for people who support the state of Israel and do not criticize it in the movement?’ There can’t be

After holding out for a month, last week Trump indicated he is adopting his predecessors’ obsession with empowering the PLO . This is a strategic error. There are many actors and conflicts in the Middle East that challenge and threaten US national interests and US national security. Many people seem shocked at the recent savagery of a mob of students at Middlebury College, who rioted to prevent Charles Murray from addressing a student group who had invited him to speak. What happened at Middlebury College has been happening for decades, all across the country, from Berkeley to Harvard. Moreover, even critics of the Middlebury College rioters betray some of the same irresponsible mindset as that of the young rioters. The moral dry rot
