Fake News Plus Fascism: New York
Times Urges Boycott of Breitbart

Breitbart Big Government, by Joel B. Pollak

Original Article

Posted By:Judy W., 1/8/2017 8:12:07 PM

In two op-ed articles for the New York Times‘ Sunday Review, the Gray Lady attacks Breitbart News and its founder, Andrew Breitbart, and encourages an effort to “destroy” the company by appealing directly to advertisers not to support the website. One article, “How to Destroy the Business Model of Breitbart and Fake News,” written by someone actually called “Pagan Kennedy” (was “Antichrist Roosevelt” not available?) celebrates the flagging effort of anonymous Twitter trolls who have tried to target and intimidate companies whose ads appear alongside Breitbart News articles, via third party platforms. These would-be censors of the totalitarian left have decided that

The left descends into fascism while accusing everyone it doesn´t like of fascism.

So, someone explain this to me. It´s obvious to anyone with half a brain the only people who would heed this call-to-arms are people who don´t patronize Breitbart in the first place. So, is it just a feel good gesture? A self-congratulatory move? A masturbatory, sociopolitical ritual? Truly, I don´t understand this kind of thinking & behavior.

Wouldn´t this constant battle mode make you tired? Angry, all the time? Thoroughly depressed and despairing? And, if so, wouldn´t´ you want to change that behavior? What a dark, dark place these people inhabit.

And the NYTimes made 5 big errors in just that one article!

I love Breitbart and do not respect the NYT. Another reason to dislike the NYT.

Reply 6 - Posted by: Hpmatt, 1/8/2017 8:52:59 PM     (No. 11100463)

I think Breitbart has a whole lot more subscribers than the NYT.

NYT´s had less credibility than Breitbart for some time now, and they´ve been on my quasi-boycott list for years. Maybe it´s time to axe the ´quasi´ part of that...

I went right to Breitbart and tried to buy something but it is just baseball caps and patent medicines. Can they up their game? What about just a link to Amazon?

They hate it when people start ignoring their lies and going for truthful reporting.

Breitbart should have a donate button. If the Times is successful in greatly decreasing Breitbart´s advertising base, then we will support the site directly. I would gladly pay to read the news there. Meanwhile, I never click on the NYT or Wapo articles. Generally, you can search for the information and read a better written article elsewhere. Sorry to say, but Wapo has recently gone right down the NYT hole. Startlingly biased propaganda.

The Slimes is jealously protecting their fake news franchise.

From their rules: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.

Breitbart is a threat to liberal hegemony. Where liberals attack it is where their enemies have been most effective.

We could suggest a counter boycott of the Slimes but why bother. No one believes what they are saying anyway.

Up yours Slimes. Why don´t you move to Cuba, China, Mexico, or even North Korea. Your audience is really there and you can be closer to them.

Reply 16 - Posted by: vanimal, 1/9/2017 6:55:12 AM     (No. 11100717)

Time to boycott every advertiser that advertises with the New York Times or at least send them a message we do not appreciate them supporting the NYT’s Fake News nor their agenda.

I say it´s time to boycott the Slimes....
Wait, what....You already have? Good for you!!

More than a few of my Washington allies noticed a seemingly unremarkable bit of news in a Monday Washington Post article that they thought I ought to see. The article concerned Jared Kushner’s appointment as adviser to his father-in-law Donald Trump. The appointment did not trouble my friends. What troubled them was thePost’s casual mention that Kushner’s attorney was none other than Jamie Gorelick, deputy attorney general under President Bill Clinton. (Snip) I write this to make him aware of why bloggers have taken to calling Gorelick, "The Mistress of Disaster."

So the website BuzzFeed decided to publish a series of memos that have been floating around for months alleging all kinds of terrible things about Donald Trump. Some of those terrible allegations have to do with efforts to influence the American elections and Trump. Some of them have to do with Trump’s personal sexual conduct. Readers of this newspaper know well not to include me among Trump’s supporters. But the scurrilousness of what BuzzFeed has done here is so beyond the bounds of what is even remotely acceptable it should compel even those most outraged by Trump’s political excesses to come to

The global revolution started with our victory in the Cold War, as the Soviet Union passed away with surprisingly little violence. (Snip) n other words, the United States, despite becoming the world’s lone superpower, deliberately weakened its military strength, and attempted to negotiate friendly relations with its former archenemy and the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism. Obama later did all these things again and called them “new.” I think it’s fair to say that the global templates were inevitably going to shift after the fall of the Soviet Empire, but the United States’ decision to withdraw from crucial areas of the world

Gaslighting and the
Left’s War on Reality
Townhall, by Timothy Daughtry    Original Article

Donald Trump’s victory over one of the most powerful political machines in American history has given mainstream America the opportunity to turn America onto a sensible course. The success or failure of that turnaround, however, depends largely on the ability of mainstream Americans to see through the left’s longstanding use of a vile political tactic known as gaslighting. The word gaslighting has been popularized in psychology to describe a form of mental and emotional abuse in which a domineering person denies and contradicts the memories and perceptions of an intended victim until the victim begins to doubt his or her perception

While family and friends were counting down to the new year, I was watching a different kind of countdown—whether doctors and health care providers would be forced to violate their medical judgment and provide procedures, including gender transition services and abortions, under a new government mandate. The mandate is a 362-page regulation that claims to interpret part of the Affordable Care Act. It was issued in May 2016, and major portions of this mandate would have kicked in on Jan. 1. Becket Law had asked a Texas court for an order protecting health care providers. It was less than nine hours to

In Russia in 1839, Custine wrote that Tsar Nicholas I was both eagle and insect: eagle because he soared over society surveying it with a sharp raptor’s eye from above, and insect because he bored himself into every tiny crack and crevice of society from below. Nothing was either too large or too small for his attention; and sometimes one feels that political correctness is rather like that. For the politically correct, nothing is too large or too small to escape their puritanical attention. As a consequence, we suspect that we are living an authoritarian prelude to a totalitarian future.

Barbra Streisand is standing with Meryl Streep, who used her acceptance speech at Sunday´s Golden Globe Awards to criticize Donald Trump for lacking empathy and infamously mocking a disabled reporter in 2015. A day after Streep delivered her blistering rebuke of the president-elect, Streisand called in to Hardball With Chris Matthews and expressed her solidarity. I thought that [Streep] said what she said beautifully, Streisand remarked. Regarding Trump´s ridiculing of journalist Serge F. Kovaleski 14 months ago, Streisand added, I completely agree with Meryl. It was a heartbreaking moment and so beneath the dignity of the presidency, let alone any respectful person. Professor Michael Eric Dyson thinks that white people should have an ‘Individual Reparations Account’ to make donations to black institutions and individuals. (Snip) I agree with reparations, but maybe this is my white privilege speaking: I can’t imagine actually doing that. That is what I meant by an I.R.A.: an individual reparations account. You ain’t got to ask the government, you don’t have to ask your local politician — this is what you, an individual, conscientious, “woke” citizen can do. But charity can’t be the end of it, right? The Koch brothers gave the United Negro College Fund $25 million, but I

She is among the most famous and easily recognized women in the world, but first lady Michelle Obama feels "invisible" when she steps off her official stage, according to her best friend and ally in the White House. And the reason is a remarkable one considering that she and her husband, President Obama, are America´s first African-American presidential couple. According to top adviser Valerie Jarrett, Obama is invisible because she is black. In her new book about the importance of black mothers in America and how they walk a tightrope in society, White House correspondent April Ryan revealed that Jarrett

The Gold Star father who blasted Donald Trump at the Democratic convention this summer is returning to the national stage this week, firing off a letter demanding the Senate reject Sen. Jeff Sessions, Mr. Trump’s attorney general nominee. Khizr Khan, the Pakistan-born father of a U.S. Army captain killed in the Iraq war, said his son’s service was a rejection of people like Mr. Sessions, who he accused of associating with racially divisive and ‘intensely anti-Muslim” groups. Mr. Khan also said Mr. Sessions has defended proposals “that would single Muslim immigrants out for discriminatory treatment on the basis of their religious beliefs.” “My

Hillary Clinton’s political career is probably over, but just because she lost the presidential election to Donald Trump doesn’t mean she wasn’t prepared to win. Axios reporter Mike Allen has revealed Hillary’s list of prospective nominees for important cabinet posts in her administration, and it includes a number of interesting choices. John Podesta, her campaign chairman who accidentally exposed his entire email account to Russian hackers, was listed as the frontrunner to be Hillary Clinton’s secretary of state. Vice President Joe Biden was reportedly also being considered for the position. Facebook executive and Lean In author Sheryl Sandberg was in

U.S. officials included a two-page synopsis of ´kompromat´ – Russian for compromising material – as part of their security briefing of Trump on Friday. One Silicon Valley executive had a few choice words to describe Americans living in the heart of the nation, and they were not flattering. Melinda Byerley, MBA and founder of Timeshare CMO, a Silicon Valley-based tech start-up, tweeted out Saturday afternoon describing what middle America could do to “get more jobs in their area.” Byerley says that the first thing those in middle America need to realize is that “no educated person wants to live in a sh**hole with stupid people.” Particularly, in a “sh**hole” filled with people who are “violent, racist, and/or misogynistic.” In Byerley’s opinion, “big corporations,” do
