Trump to seek probe of secret report
he says was given to NBC

President-elect Donald Trump said on Friday that he would ask congressional committees to investigate NBC´s receipt of top secret information, apparently referring to a report on Russian hacking to influence the 2016 U.S. election. "I am asking the chairs of the House and Senate committees to investigate top secret intelligence shared with NBC prior to me seeing it," Trump said in a post on Twitter. "I am asking the chairs of the House and Senate committees to investigate top secret intelligence shared with NBC prior to me seeing it," Trump said in a post on Twitter.

Comments:
Good for him! This should be headline news everywhere! Who leaked the report? Does NBC have a spy in the U.S. intelligence agencies involved? Did NBC "hack" the government?

No kidding, OP! It´s about time that Secret and Top Secret documents were treated as, well secrets. I´ve had a Secret clearance, and I really resent these partisan hacks passing around documents that were entrusted to their care with reckless abandon. It´s time to revoke some security clearances, I´d bet.

I sure like the way Trump is handling this mess! At last, a leader who acts like an executive. That is, after all, why the Executive branch of the US Government is called the Executive branch. Sheesh.

Drag in the NBC thug reporters/leadership. Force them to spill who gave them the report and when they claim Freedom of Press etc. Toss them in Jail for being an accessory to National Security Violations. Let them smoke on that a few months and they will eventually spill the beans!

If Obama was on the up and up he would have invited Trump and his team to the White House yesterday so that all of them could receive the same briefing from the intelligence agencies. That was important because a lot of people these days think that the Obama crew has politicized the intelligence agencies. Now low and behold it appears that the White House leaked the classified intelligence report to NBC before Trump and his team have received their intelligence briefing that is scheduled for this afternoon. Who can say now if Trump will receive the exact same briefing this afternoon that Obama received yesterday? All that is not a good thing!

Trump is absolutely correct. Why did NBC receive this information before Mr. Trump did? Draining the wholly politicized swamp which is what America´s intelligence agencies have become, should be a top priority for the incoming administration. Obama/msm/Democrats are treating us to this huge show, all designed to de-legitimize Trump´s election. Of course the Russians (and the Chinese, and now, even the Iranians) are constantly hacking into our nation´s IT systems. Where was the outrage, when the Chinese stole the entire information data base containing EVERY current and former federal employee´s entire background and current personal records? Not a single Chinese diplomat was expelled. And the incompetent politically appointed head of the United States Office of Personnel Management, not only refused to accept responsibility for ignoring years of recommendations from the Agency´s own Inspector General to update and improve the Agency´s IT systems, it took the woman three long months to even have the decency to resign.

I am not buying any of this latest dog and pony show. And, the information in the LEAKED, not hacked, DNC/Podesta emails, showed just how corrupt these same people are (and just how much they collude with the media).

I really hope Trump knows how p*ssed off Americans are. If He talks tough and then compromises on these issues and others it will be a very bad thing for his administration.

I want to see heads roll, pensions denied, people fired.

Senator John McCain passed documents to the FBI director, James Comey, last month alleging secret contacts between the Trump campaign and Moscow and that Russian intelligence had personally compromising material on the president-elect himself. The material, which has been seen by the Guardian, is a series of reports on Trump’s relationship with Moscow. They were drawn up by a former western counter-intelligence official, now working as a private consultant. BuzzFeed on Tuesday published the documents, which it said were “unverified and potentially unverifiable”.

John McCain is increasingly mad as hell about President Trump. And on Friday, he went after Trump — hard. During a speech at the Munich Security Conference in Germany, the Republican senator from Arizona delivered a pointed and striking point-by-point takedown of Trump´s worldview and brand of nationalism. McCain didn´t mention Trump´s name once, but he didn´t have to. And even considering the two men´s up-and-down history and the terrible things Trump has said about McCain, it was a striking display from a senior leader of a party when it comes to a president of the same party. In his speech, McCain suggested

MUNICH, GERMANY Republican Senator John McCain broke with the reassuring message that U.S. officials visiting Germany have sought to convey on their debut trip to Europe, saying on Friday that the administration of President Donald Trump was in "disarray". McCain, a known Trump critic, told the Munich Security Conference that the resignation of the new president´s security adviser Michael Flynn over his contacts with Russia reflected deep problems in Washington. "I think that the Flynn issue obviously is something that shows that in many respects this administration is in disarray and they´ve got a lot of work to do," said McCain. "The president, I

Historians have ranked Barack Obama the 12th best president of all time, the highest rated since President Ronald Reagan, in a new C-SPAN survey released Friday. Less than a month after exiting the White House, Obama received high marks from presidential historians for his pursuit of "equal justice for all" and for his commanding "moral authority," ranking third and seventh among all former presidents in each respective category. The 44th president also cracked a top 10 ranking for his "economic management" and public persuasion. The former president´s tenure earned its lowest marks for the relationship between the presidency and Congress,

Sweaty onlookers from the gym across the hall peered in curiously. Senator John McCain has emerged as one of the leading Republican voices pushing back against President Trump, and he had some tough words in response to Trump’s tweet calling the media the “enemy” of the American people. In a preview of his Meet the Press interview tomorrow, McCain told Chuck Todd that the free press is very important to American democracy. “I hate the press. I hate you especially,” he joked. “But the fact is, we need you. We need a free press.” Without a free and adversarial press, McCain said, Americans would lose their liberties and “that’s how dictators

SAN FRANCISCO — Mark Zuckerberg says Facebook will move beyond connecting family and friends to building "social infrastructure" critical to bringing people together in a "global community." In a nearly 5,800-word letter to Facebook users published on his Facebook page, Zuckerberg laid out his vision of what kind of world he believes Facebook can help create as it pushes back against a growing tide of anti-globalization sentiment. "Progress now requires humanity coming together not just as cities or nations, but also as a global community," Zuckerberg wrote. WASHINGTON — Donald Trump is stuck in his own skull. He’s unreachable.“He lives inside his head, where he runs the same continuous loop of conflict with people he turns into enemies for the purposes of his psychodrama,” says Trump biographer Michael D’Antonio. Because Trump holds Thor’s hammer, with its notably short handle, we must keep trying to figure out his strange, perverse, aggrieved style of reasoning. So we’re stuck in Trump’s head with him. It’s a very cluttered place to be, a fine-tuned machine spewing a torrent of chaos, cruelty, confusion, farce and transfixing craziness. Soros, a far left-wing mega donor for the Democratic party, has caught the attention of U.S. lawmakers after allegedly meddling in European politics. From Fox News: Concerns about Soros’ involvement most recently were raised by the Hungarian prime minister, who last week lashed out at the Soros “empire” and accused it of deplying “tons of money and international heavy artillery.”……Former Macedonian PM Nikola Gruevski says Soros has a “decisive influence” on his country’s politics.

On "The First 100 Days" tonight, Kurtz said the poll should elicit some "soul-searching for our [journalistic] professionals." The poll also found that 68 percent of voters think the media is tougher on Trump than President Obama, while 18 percent said it is "easier" on Trump. As FoxNews.com further reported: People
