The Washington Post Needs To Come Clean
About Its Russian Hacking Story Fiasco

When a company fails at its basic mission in a way that harms the public, and then tries to mislead the public about it, newspaper reporters can be counted on to immediately swoop in and demand that the company be held to account. So what happens when the company in question is a major, highly influential newspaper? Let´s see. On Friday, the Washington Post published an earth-shattering report that Russian hackers had infiltrated the U.S. electricity grid through a Vermont utility. The story´s lede said that a "code associated with the Russian hacking operation dubbed Grizzly Steppe by the Obama administration has been

.... and Trump twittered the correct question again last night... "How did NBC and the Washington Post see the "NEW" secret report about Russian hacking?" It begs the question.. is there a "media spy" in the intelligence services? Did NBC and/or WaPo hack the computers of the intelligence services?

Who is the mole? We the people no longer trust the NYT, CNN, or WPost. How many more will flail and fall?

Washington Post reporters writing fake news on their laptops during ´happy hour´ at their favorite bar of airport terminal bar.
This is not reporting these are lies made to stir turmoil in America and harm Trump.
I hope heads roll when Trump enters the Oval Office and ´tweets´ these hacks into oblivion.

FTA: "The public deserves a fuller accounting from a newspaper as influential as the Washington Post, and some clear evidence that it is taking concrete steps to ensure that it is honestly and fairly reporting the news, not making it up to help Democrats."

The value of a newspaper/media company is the trust built in their brand. They´ve squandered that. They are a rag populated by hacks and have a long way to go before they will ever be trusted again. WaPo jumped the shark yet again this election season. At least at Amazon you can rate the authors and products peddled by Bezos.

Question: What´s the difference between Nixon/deep throat and Clinton/Wikileaks?

Answer: Political party

While reading the article, the below quote (from the article) popped up in my mind. And, btw, I already knew the answer:

´´So what´s the Post´s response to all this? Essentially, nothing.´´

The Post fully expects the rest of the lying media, the press and tv news, to immediately drop this lie and ignore it. It´s what they all do.

Also, this is why Trumps Tweets drive them insane-er. He does a simple thing...Points out the Useless Media´s lies.

Reply 4: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of the Press, is not Freedom to lie.

Actually you ARE free to lie - but you are not free from the potential consequences of doing so. We citizens must ensure that a protected class of corporation like the WAPO is not free from those consequences, and we are the only institution that can safely be given that responsibility, so use it well.

Said it before...the report was so secret only the Washington Post and NBC were allowed to see it. Something smells.

Who are these people?
How are they so UNLIKE the rest of us?
Who gave them such authority?
Who regulates them for errors, agenda, and lies?
Who reads this crap?
Who really believes them?

Most Americans like us value integrity and honesty and hate liars...

Well, guess what?

WE ARE BEING LIED TO EVERY DAMN DAY and we all now know it..

So how do we change it and stop it?

Sears, Other Retailers Reel From
Gales Of ´Creative Destruction´

Sears. Macy´s. Kohl´s. Traditional department store retailers have taken hard hits over the Christmas holidays, with sales lagging the generally robust performance of retailers overall. Now, these mall stalwarts are slashing thousands of jobs and hundreds of stores, trying to right-size themselves. It´s no coincidence. Sears on Thursday became the latest retailer to announce that it was restructuring after a weak Christmas season. It´s closing 150 Sears and Kmart stores and selling its iconic Craftsman tool brand for just under a billion dollars to Stanley Black & Decker. Meanwhile, Macy´s is letting 10,000 people go. And Kohl´s warned about its decline

Another ObamaCare Promise Bites The Dust

Health Reform: Remember when Democrats were promising that ObamaCare would cut the deficit by $1 trillion in its second decade? Turns out they were off by, well, about $1 trillion. A report from the centrist Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget says that, left in place, ObamaCare would reduce the deficit by between $350 billion and $150 billion over the next 10 years, depending on whether or not you account for the economic harm caused by the law. It might look like a big number, but it´s far smaller than the $1 trillion Democrats promised. What´s more, a realistic accounting shows that

Regulation: As President Obama continues his bizarre last-minute regulatory siege without letup, Donald Trump has made it clear he´ll undo most of the unneeded rules once he´s in office. And Congress hopes to make it very easy for him to do. As he heads for the exits, Obama is engaged in a frenzy of regulation, intended to hamstring American businesses and reward green groups and unions. But while the pace has picked up recently, it´s really nothing new. As Paul Bedard of the Washington Examiner has noted, Obama´s "lame duck administration poured on thousands more new regulations in 2016 at a a

Rules: You have to laugh at the Democrats´ current plight. They have almost no leverage to block anyone Donald Trump decides to select for judgeships or cabinet posts. They can´t stop Republicans from repealing most of ObamaCare. And they only have themselves to blame. On CNN this week, Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer was lamenting the fact that Democrats wouldn´t be able to use the filibuster to stop Trump´s nominees. There should, he said, be "60 votes because on such important positions there should be some degree of bipartisanship." And who, exactly, is to blame for this? Schumer´s predecessor in the Senate´s leadership

Trade: Ford´s decision to build a factory in the U.S. instead of Mexico, saving 700 jobs, is a good thing. But is it because Ford fears what Donald Trump might do to it, or because it thinks the corporate environment will be so much better under Trump than under Obama? And, yes, the answer really matters. Ford´s move to invest $700 million in Michigan, creating about 700 new jobs here has created quite a political stir. The new plant, slated for Flat Rock, Mich., will make cutting-edge electric and self-driving cars, which Ford has said will likely outsell traditional cars

Cybersecurity: President Obama´s decision to expel Russian diplomats for interfering with the U.S. election is starting to look like "Alice in Wonderland"-style justice: sentence first, verdict afterward. Even some liberals are starting to wonder if the evidence against Russia holds water. Late last week, the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI issued a joint report that supposedly tied the Russian government into the release of hacked Democratic National Committee documents. But it didn´t provide any such evidence. Instead, it simply listed tools used to carry out the attack, and asserted that Russia must have been the ones who used them. Then it

If you watch TV at all, the odds are good that you’ve seen one of those annoying commercials by the guy who talks about the incredible scientific advancement he made in “sleep science” by developing ‘My Pillow.’ I know I can almost recite the words to one of the ads by heart. I’ll confess that I found it puzzling that this guy (Michael J. Lindell) was able to afford to keep running so many of these ads for what looked, at least to me, like an obvious scam. (One of my neighbors actually bought one last winter and told me

In a letter to the American people explaining the progress he believes the nation has made under his leadership, President Barack Obama said today that “almost” the entire planet believes this nation has become stronger and more respected during his time in office. “And almost every country on Earth sees America as stronger and more respected today than they did eight years ago,” Obama said in his letter. In making his case for this, Obama cited among other things what he believes to be the nation’s progress in Iraq and Afghanistan and in “breaking the back” of the Islamic State, and also

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow said Wednesday night that if Donald Trump ever appeared on her nighttime show, she would ask the president-elect if he intends on sending her or anyone else she knows “to a camp.” Maddow made the comment during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,” which airs on Bravo. “[A viewer] wants to know if you booked Donald Trump on your show, what would your first question be?” host Andy Cohen asked. Maddow rolled her head back and said “uh” with dramatic effect. The crowd laughed. “Are you going to send me or anybody that I know to a

Hillary Clinton returns to Washington, and to the scene of her last government job, for the ceremonial opening next week of a new exhibition and museum area at the State Department that will be partly named for her. Clinton is slated to speak at the ceremony and reception on Tuesday, alongside fellow former secretaries of state Madeleine Albright and Colin Powell, according to an invitation to the event, which has not been announced. It would be only her second public appearance in Washington since losing the Nov. 8 election. One of the four exhibition halls in the U.S. Diplomacy Center will be
