President Obama was nowhere to be found during the beginning of a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine commission in Wales on Thursday. Obama was "noticeably absent" from the start of the meeting, according to a White House pool report, although U.S. Ambassador to NATO Douglas Lute was in attendance.Obama was late to the Ukraine meeting because of other meetings on Afghanistan and a meeting with King Abdullah of Jordan, according to a White House official.Back at the Ukraine meeting, leaders were addressed by NATO Secretary General Anders Rasmussen, who urged Russia to stop the "illegal" annexation of Crimea. “We call on Russia

Obama cannot be expected to behave as all other Presidents before him have. It is simply racist to expect him to actually do the job he was elected to do. Obama lacks that one trait that every president has had, a sense of duty. Obama feels no obligation to do anything. He believes it is a gift to the world when he just shows up.

We still don´t know where he was as our Ambassador at Benghazi was brutally murdered and his would-be rescuers died fighting, without help being sent.

And, we know that he is not a morning person, so to speak. He has a long work-out session (so they say) and only ambles into the Office at 10-ish. maybe.

He IS absent.

World going to heck in a hand bag- Russia attacks neighbors, China expanding influence, Middle East on fire, USA invaded from the South, race riots in mid West, etc.

No President (and I have lived through 11 Presidents, that´s 1/4 of the total in U.S. History) has ever depressed me as has this one. Others got me angry. In fact, at one time or another, all of them got me angry. but something SOMETHING was worthy of them even if, in the case of Clinton, it was only his people skills (please no mood for jokes) and, when he had no choice, his adversarial but working relationship with Gingrich (and that is our system of checks and balances). the worst was LBJ but he was, at least, a man….an impressive MAN. (don´t do any post-modern BS gender stuff on me. I will take Baroness Thatcher in a heartbeat). That is, he worked, He tried. He made massive mistakes but also did some massive (well maybe one) things well (voting rights act 1965) . But Obama is a lazy scarecrow of a petulant nonentity. That such a great nation should be led by such a cipher makes me want to put my head under the covers or just want footage of sports from the 1950´s just to get to January 20 2017. But by then, what will we be?

Honest historians will look back on the national embarrassment that were the Obama years and note that Dear Leader Barack Hussein was never, in fact, the leader of the Free World - he was the leader of the Socialist Internationale. A different agenda, entirely.

According to the MSM, O´dufus organized these meetings. It´s more like Valerie Jarrett made him go, for appearances sake, to try to convince us that he actually cares about Americans being murdered and beheaded.

"he is not a morning person." That´s beautiful. I don´t think he really has a time of day to be cognizant of anything. The chemical assistance puts him into motion but nothing really functions beyond that.

He´s got a serious mental and physical problem that they keep hiding.
"nowhere to be found during the beginning of a meeting"
sounds a lot like the night of Benghazi.

Some way he needs to be removed from duty.
With a congress that refuses to keep him in check we
can´t last 2 years until he´s gone.

"Absent" is his middle name. He´s absent from being engaged, he´s absent where he should be present, he´s absent a conscience, he´s absent from the effects of his own policies, and he is absent a strategy for rejuvenating America.

THEORY: He is absent from the NATO meeting because he knows he is among heavy-hitters and he no longer is one.

It was probably his quintessential arrogance, which we have come to know and hate in this country.

The most important person usually shows up last because his/her time is soooo valuable. That is why we often wait for an hour past our appointment time at the doctor.

There are some really good propositions here. My bet is Reggie or similar. I think the schmuck is ill. He looks very bad in his face. Very pale, drawn, circles under eyes. Eyes look bad. If I had a patient whose eyes had the drawn look of his, i would be very concerned. If only he has a terminal disease. That´s the only way we can get him out of office and not have a certain part of our population rise up and riot. Used to worry about Biden, but NOBODY could be this bad, except Holder and by God´s grace and the wisdom of the Founding Fathers, he is not in the succession line.

He did not want to take any questions from his NATO allies. It would show that he has no intention to really fight ISIS or to stand up to Russia. His inaction speaks volumes. What do the other NATO members think? Have to wonder what NATO can do without the United States. Have to wonder if the United States would try to block NATO actions in some underhanded way.

This meeting is mostly partying and empty schmoozing. We all know it. However, Obama could at least join the other leaders in presenting an appearance of working and preparing important actions. Nah. The docs I know all concur that something is seriously physically wrong with the President. His mental state is certainly suspect. He looks strung out to me - whether it´s drugs or partying, I don´t know. I don´t like him but he is suffering.

The President Who Wasn´t There

Yesterday, NATO had an empty chair,
America´s President wasn´t there.
He wasn´t there again today,
I wish, I wish he´d go away...

He spends much of his time on a golf tee,
The President isn´t there for you and me.
And when they looked around NATO´s hall,
They couldn´t see him there at all!
Go away, go away, don´t you come back any more!
For you only protect traitors like Sgt. Bergdahl!

Francis Scott Key wrote our anthem by the rocket´s red glare,
But now we have a President who isn´t there,
He wasn´t there again today
Oh, how I wish he´d go away...

Chooming in another room?

#60, years ago, I recall reading an account by someone who visited Obama in his home office, if I recall correctly. They said that while they waited for him, they couldn´t help noticing all the books and papers in the room about Parkinson´s disease. The interesting thing, I think, is that I have read that there is a form of Parkinson´s caused by heavy drug use.

Remember those early mornings back in high school, waiting in the limo line, craving an organic vanilla apricot soy latte from your favorite artisanal coffeesmith, and thinking about how great it was to be a member of America’s upper crust? Those were the days. Sidwell Friends, the elite D.C. private school where the Obamas send their kids, is hiring a barista to “prepare smoothies and espresso drinks” for children who are too rich to fail. The position, which pays $125,000 a year*, could be a great opportunity for a young person suffering under the failed Obama economy. Realistically, it will probably

Mundelein Seminary, Ill. — It’s 7:15 on Tuesday morning and, as on most mornings, Father Robert Barron, rector of the seminary here, unassumingly takes an open seat among the seminarians and faculty of Mundelein, and some of the staff and students of the University of St. Mary of the Lake. Father Barron is best known for his Catholicism series, which appeared on PBS not long ago, and his Word on Fire ministry (involving, among other things, YouTube videos); his media work flows from a mandate Cardinal Francis George gave him several years ago to evangelize the culture. But here he

A leading medical group on Monday recommended implantable rods and intrauterine devices (IUDs) as the best form of birth control for teenage girls other than abstinence. The new guidance from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), published Monday in the group’s Pediatrics journal, touts birth control methods not commonly used in the U.S. despite widespread agreement about their effectiveness. The AAP says pediatricians, who teens consider “a highly trusted source of sexual health information,” should recommend, in decreasing order of effectiveness, progestin implants, IUDs, injectable contraception, and oral contraception for use among adolescents. The doctors call oral contraceptives the least effective options

The GOP’s favorite punching bag in President Barack Obama’s Cabinet is calling it quits. After six years of hostile exchanges at congressional hearings, scores of lawmakers calling for his resignation and a historic House vote holding him in contempt, Attorney General Eric Holder announced Thursday that he plans to leave by the end of the year. Republicans didn’t even wait until the official announcement to pillory Holder and celebrate his exit — Rep. Jeff Duncan of South Carolina expressing “good riddance” and Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) “welcoming” the news of Holder’s departure, accusing him of attacking Louisiana. Rep. Darrell Issa

Voter turnout during last month´s primary races was a little too good in some counties, Arizona elections officials said Friday. Some precincts in northern Arizona tallied more ballots cast than there are registered voters, the Arizona Capitol Times reported. According to officials, errors made by poll workers and elections officials in Apache and Navajo counties led to the miscalculations. Initial reports from some precincts showed a turnout of anywhere from 200 to 400 percent. In Apache County, the Puerco West precinct reportedly had 100 votes cast, but only 23 voters are registered there. The voter turnout added up to 434

In her just-released memoir, 27 year-old "Girls" star Lena Dunham claims that as a 19 year-old Oberlin College student in Ohio, she was raped by a college Republican. In the first chapter that addresses the encounter, Dunham describes the "ill-fated evening of lovemaking" as awkward and hollow. The most sensational moment comes from the fact that "Barry" wasn´t wearing a condom. In the next chapter, Dunham backtracks with the claim that she´s an "unreliable narrator" and accuses "Barry" of rape: [I]n another essay in this book I describe a sexual encounter with a mustachioed campus Republican as the upsetting but

What on earth is an ohbee-guynee? Apparently it is a weird Obamaspeak pronunciation of OB/GYN (pronounced oh-bee-gee-why-en). For the president’s benefit, let me specify that means a doctor who delivers babies and takes care of the lady parts. When President Obama announced the departure of Eric Holder from his position as attorney general, he also mentioned his “good friend,” the AG’s wife, Dr. Sharon Malone, and he called her an “ohbee-guynee.” (snip) it almost seems as though someone raised in a fantasized USSR training camp for deep cover agents was inserted into the identity of Barack Obama and loosed upon

It’s the “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.” A New York appeals court next week will consider whether chimps should have the same rights as human beings. The extraordinary proceeding is the result of a lengthy battle by animal-rights activists who argue that animals with human qualities — including chimps — are entitled to human protections, including freedom from captivity. Steven Wise, part of the Nonhuman Rights Project, which is leading the effort, will have to convince a panel of Albany appellate judges that a chimp name Tommy is a “legal person” to get him moved from a cage

It is the stuff that nightmares are made of, and day by day it is getting worse. The Ebola epidemic, says Dr Margaret Chan, director-general of the World Health Organisation (WHO), is now “the greatest peacetime challenge” since the Second World War. Yet her own organisation’s tardiness, partly caused by cuts, together with reductions in--and misuse of--funds elsewhere, are largely responsible for Ebola spiralling out of control. [Snip] It’s just the beginning. At present the numbers of people infected are thought to be doubling in under 30 days--and the blue-chip US Center for Disease Control and Prevention predicts that, if Ebola

Coakley needs help badly, as even in blue, blue Massachusetts, the race between Democrat Coakley and Republican Charlie Baker is essentially a toss up. Why, she asked, wasn’t he being better protected by his Secret Service agents? The furor that led to this week’s resignation of the director of the Secret Service resonated deeply among blacks, outraged that those supposed to be guarding the first black president were somehow falling down on the job — and suspicious even without evidence that it may be deliberate. “It is something that is widespread in
