A C.I.A. station chief reportedly stopped five American commandos from responding immediately to the attack on a U.S. diplomatic base in Benghazi, Libya, in 2012 that left four Americans dead, it was reported Thursday. “13 Hours,” a book written by the five commandos that is due out next week, says the C.I.A chief had them wait in a car for 20 minutes while the attack took place about a mile away, according to The New York Times, which obtained a copy . Four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador to Libya, J. Christopher Stevens, were killed when terrorists stormed the U.S. consulate in

This is needed, but there is so much more to know. How could they have left the area so unprepared for an attack. Those responsible for allocating our resources to defend those exposed to the ragheads and their attitudes toward we not mussies screwed up so badly that it makes me sick to my stomach. How could we have left these people so exposed. They practically begged for reinforcements and were either turned down or ignored. Someone needs to pay.

So after two years, we finally have one name. Awesome investigative journalism. Not.

But here´s a clue for any remaining real journalist...now go ask that person who gave him the orders or otherwise prescribed to him how he must deal with such situations. And keep following that chain of orders and policy prescriptions until you get to the ultimate source.

Agreed #4. They expect us to believe that "Bob" was making this decision without any input from higher ups. Seems highly unlikely that he would risk his career with a decision to deny help to the Ambassador on his own. Who would make a decision like that? There was something very shady going down in Benghazi and this administration wants to be sure that the truth is never revealed. Sacrificing four good men to these barbarians was done most likely to protect Obama´s gun running scheme being made public. It was another Fast and Furious with a Middle Eastern flavor. The depth of deceit in this administration knows no bounds. They are lawless.

WHY didn´t the "Bob did it" excuse surface until the book is being released? Does this mean the authors were withholding the truth in order to profit? Doesn´t that taint their credibility?
This info doesn´t jibe with "At this point, what difference does it make?" If Madame Secretary knew it was Bob´s fault, she wouldn´t have screeched and allowed herself to look so bad for the past 2 years--she would´ve simply blamed Bob and moved along.
Benghazi was a covert mideast Fast & Furious type op & our government cannot afford to admit it.

Subpoena the Spec Force guys. Get someone immunity to tell the real name of Bob. Subpoena Bob. Get his phone records (assuming he stonewalls) and find out how high it goes. Its obvious, Hussein Obama has no interest in protecting USA. In fact, based upon all logical inferences, he hates us. He, or his minion, could care less about a few American lives, so long as no muslims were killed in the attack.

Wow talk about shooting the messenger! The guys that wrote the book were the guys that disobeyed orders and went from the CIA compound to the embassy and tried to rescue the dip’s. The head of the CIA there held them up for 30 minutes and then without permission they went to the sound of firing. They call the CIA leader Bob because he is still in the CIA and is still covered by the law that says if you blow his cover you go to jail. I think you had better watch Fox tonight at 100 pm and get a better look at what is going on.

I don´t know why this exchange comes to mind but we may learn things that will shock us. I still say this goes to the top and the people in the know crossed party lines.

A Few Good Men
written by Aaron Sorkin

Jessep: You want answers?
Kaffee (Tom Cruise): I think I´m entitled to them.
Jessep: You want answers?
Kaffee: I want the truth!
Jessep: You can´t handle the truth! Son, we live in a world that has walls. And those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who´s gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago and you curse the Marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that Santiago´s death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives...You don´t want the truth. Because deep down, in places you don´t talk about at parties, you want me on that wall. You need me on that wall.
We use words like honor, code, loyalty...we use these words as the backbone to a life spent defending something. You use ´em as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it! I´d rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way, I don´t give a damn what you think you´re entitled to!
Kaffee: Did you order the code red?
Jessep: (quietly) I did the job you sent me to do.
Kaffee: Did you order the code red?
Jessep: You´re goddamn right I did!!

My theory is that Obama was siphoning Gadaffi´s weapons to the rebels in Syria - currently ISIS. The ambassador was there to work on it. The muzzie groups wanted the blind sheik released and Obama was ready to release him but wanted a pretext as with the Bergdahl swap. The Muzzies could capture the ambassador and then trade him for the blind sheik. This was why the stand down order was given! The plan went sour when the muzzies killed the ambassador. Obama decides to try again later and heads off to his fund raiser. If Obama and the traitorous left doesn´t like this version then let the truth come out. I am sticking with this in lieu of all the lies from the administration. The administration may as well free that coptic christian film maker... nobody believes the "video" lie anyway!

I would have a whole lot more confidence in the revelations of these men had they come out a year ago, six months ago. Now they make a big splash on FOX at a time which just happens to coincide with the release of a book, which happens to come very near an anniversary of the Benghazi attack.

Do I hope the truth - all of it - emerges some day? Of course I do. Does this kabuki give it to us? I hope so, but somehow doubt it.

One thing it does tell us - the "rooster" crowed three times.

The fact that both Obama and Clinton were "disappeared" has already proven their guilt in this mass murder.

Instant communication is the norm in the world no matter where you are. I have called the U.S. from the Middle East countless times and it´s just like calling from down the street. A situation like this would have generated lots of talk with the top level of the U.S. Government. The only thing missing is the names of the people who gave the orders, and you can bet they were not wearing military uniforms but suits - or dresses.

The "diplomatic base" in Benghazi was just State Department diplomatic cover for a secret CIA operation to purchase SA-7 surface-to-air missiles that had been looted from Gadhafi´s arsenal. Stevens was there negotiating purchases and then the transfers of the SAM´s to Turkey for trans-shipment to radical groups in Syria. It had been going on for some time. So, which group or groups blew the op? And which group or groups in Syria got the SA-7´s? Does ISIS have any of them?

It´s interesting that 9 months earlier, in November, 2011, Hezbollah rolled up virtually the entire CIA operation in Lebanon. Then in September, 2012, this CIA operation in Benghazi is wiped out. Sure, al Qaeda gets blamed and is happy to take credit, but the 9/11 Benghazi attack had the Muslim Brotherhood´s and Morsi´s fingerprints on it as well. I suspect that is what freaked Hillary. She thought her MB pals killed her ambassador. She was in obvious freefall afterwards. Now, what about Bob?

How anyone can slam these brave men and heap criticism on them for participating in the writing of their story, their experiences in Benghazi, is beyond me. A real sick-maker. If you want to know why the American public has such a dim view of lawyers, you should read an opinion issued last month by the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Williams v. BASF. The opinion describes the allegations of a class of onetime asbestos plaintiffs who claim that a BASF predecessor and lawyers at Cahill Gordon & Reindel conspired to cheat them out of their rightful recovery in decades-old asbestos suits. ATLANTA — Texas, America’s second-most populous state behind California, saw 13 of its last abortion clinics turn away women on Friday, after a federal appeals court upheld a law that practically guarantees that only a handful of clinics will remain open in the state. The strictest-of-its-kind Texas law requires abortion providers to build hospital-grade facilities and obtain sometimes impossible-to-get hospital admitting privileges. After signed into law last year by Gov. Rick Perry (R), the law forced most of the 41 clinics operating to close. Thursday’s ruling wiped out a brief victory this summer for abortion rights proponents,

It’s the “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.” A New York appeals court next week will consider whether chimps should have the same rights as human beings. The extraordinary proceeding is the result of a lengthy battle by animal-rights activists who argue that animals with human qualities — including chimps — are entitled to human protections, including freedom from captivity. Steven Wise, part of the Nonhuman Rights Project, which is leading the effort, will have to convince a panel of Albany appellate judges that a chimp name Tommy is a “legal person” to get him moved from a cage

It is the stuff that nightmares are made of, and day by day it is getting worse. The Ebola epidemic, says Dr Margaret Chan, director-general of the World Health Organisation (WHO), is now “the greatest peacetime challenge” since the Second World War. Yet her own organisation’s tardiness, partly caused by cuts, together with reductions in--and misuse of--funds elsewhere, are largely responsible for Ebola spiralling out of control. [Snip] It’s just the beginning. At present the numbers of people infected are thought to be doubling in under 30 days--and the blue-chip US Center for Disease Control and Prevention predicts that, if Ebola

President Obama was at Northwestern University on Thursday to deliver an economic speech that, he and his team hoped, would lay out the case for why the public is better off today than they were six years ago -- even if they didn´t feel it in their everday lives. Instead, Obama just gave every Republican ad-maker in the country more fodder for negative ads linking Democratic candidates to him. Here are the four sentences that will draw all of the attention (they come more than two thirds of the way through the speech): "I am not on the ballot this

In a speech in Boston, First Lady Michelle Obama left behind talk of exercise and school lunches, exchanging it all for bald politics by claiming that under her husband the US economy is now better off "by almost every economic measure." The First Lady appeared at the Strand Theater Friday to stump for Martha Coakley´s campaign for Governor of Massachusetts. Coakley needs help badly, as even in blue, blue Massachusetts, the race between Democrat Coakley and Republican Charlie Baker is essentially a toss up. In her remarks, Obama pushed the President´s newest campaign line that he has saved the economy based on

Meghan McCain joined the dog pile on the Secret Service this week, saying she’s had “nothing but horrible experiences" with the agency and likening the agents to “glorified mall cops.” The 29-year-old author and television personality, who is also the daughter of former GOP presidential candidate Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), opened up on Pivot’s “TakePart Live” about some of her interactions with the Secret Service. "I have nothing but horrible experiences with the Secret Service,” McCain said. “One of my friends called them glorified mall cops and I don´t think that´s terribly far off. I found them cliquey. I hated

WASHINGTON — Representative Elijah E. Cummings of Maryland was at the grocery store the other day when he ran into an elderly black woman who expressed growing concern about President Obama’s safety. Why, she asked, wasn’t he being better protected by his Secret Service agents? The furor that led to this week’s resignation of the director of the Secret Service resonated deeply among blacks, outraged that those supposed to be guarding the first black president were somehow falling down on the job — and suspicious even without evidence that it may be deliberate. “It is something that is widespread in
