A C.I.A. station chief reportedly stopped five American commandos from responding immediately to the attack on a U.S. diplomatic base in Benghazi, Libya, in 2012 that left four Americans dead, it was reported Thursday. “13 Hours,” a book written by the five commandos that is due out next week, says the C.I.A chief had them wait in a car for 20 minutes while the attack took place about a mile away, according to The New York Times, which obtained a copy . Four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador to Libya, J. Christopher Stevens, were killed when terrorists stormed the U.S. consulate in

This is needed, but there is so much more to know. How could they have left the area so unprepared for an attack. Those responsible for allocating our resources to defend those exposed to the ragheads and their attitudes toward we not mussies screwed up so badly that it makes me sick to my stomach. How could we have left these people so exposed. They practically begged for reinforcements and were either turned down or ignored. Someone needs to pay.

So after two years, we finally have one name. Awesome investigative journalism. Not.

But here´s a clue for any remaining real journalist...now go ask that person who gave him the orders or otherwise prescribed to him how he must deal with such situations. And keep following that chain of orders and policy prescriptions until you get to the ultimate source.

Agreed #4. They expect us to believe that "Bob" was making this decision without any input from higher ups. Seems highly unlikely that he would risk his career with a decision to deny help to the Ambassador on his own. Who would make a decision like that? There was something very shady going down in Benghazi and this administration wants to be sure that the truth is never revealed. Sacrificing four good men to these barbarians was done most likely to protect Obama´s gun running scheme being made public. It was another Fast and Furious with a Middle Eastern flavor. The depth of deceit in this administration knows no bounds. They are lawless.

WHY didn´t the "Bob did it" excuse surface until the book is being released? Does this mean the authors were withholding the truth in order to profit? Doesn´t that taint their credibility?
This info doesn´t jibe with "At this point, what difference does it make?" If Madame Secretary knew it was Bob´s fault, she wouldn´t have screeched and allowed herself to look so bad for the past 2 years--she would´ve simply blamed Bob and moved along.
Benghazi was a covert mideast Fast & Furious type op & our government cannot afford to admit it.

Subpoena the Spec Force guys. Get someone immunity to tell the real name of Bob. Subpoena Bob. Get his phone records (assuming he stonewalls) and find out how high it goes. Its obvious, Hussein Obama has no interest in protecting USA. In fact, based upon all logical inferences, he hates us. He, or his minion, could care less about a few American lives, so long as no muslims were killed in the attack.

Wow talk about shooting the messenger! The guys that wrote the book were the guys that disobeyed orders and went from the CIA compound to the embassy and tried to rescue the dip’s. The head of the CIA there held them up for 30 minutes and then without permission they went to the sound of firing. They call the CIA leader Bob because he is still in the CIA and is still covered by the law that says if you blow his cover you go to jail. I think you had better watch Fox tonight at 100 pm and get a better look at what is going on.

I don´t know why this exchange comes to mind but we may learn things that will shock us. I still say this goes to the top and the people in the know crossed party lines.

A Few Good Men
written by Aaron Sorkin

Jessep: You want answers?
Kaffee (Tom Cruise): I think I´m entitled to them.
Jessep: You want answers?
Kaffee: I want the truth!
Jessep: You can´t handle the truth! Son, we live in a world that has walls. And those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who´s gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago and you curse the Marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that Santiago´s death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives...You don´t want the truth. Because deep down, in places you don´t talk about at parties, you want me on that wall. You need me on that wall.
We use words like honor, code, loyalty...we use these words as the backbone to a life spent defending something. You use ´em as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it! I´d rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way, I don´t give a damn what you think you´re entitled to!
Kaffee: Did you order the code red?
Jessep: (quietly) I did the job you sent me to do.
Kaffee: Did you order the code red?
Jessep: You´re goddamn right I did!!

My theory is that Obama was siphoning Gadaffi´s weapons to the rebels in Syria - currently ISIS. The ambassador was there to work on it. The muzzie groups wanted the blind sheik released and Obama was ready to release him but wanted a pretext as with the Bergdahl swap. The Muzzies could capture the ambassador and then trade him for the blind sheik. This was why the stand down order was given! The plan went sour when the muzzies killed the ambassador. Obama decides to try again later and heads off to his fund raiser. If Obama and the traitorous left doesn´t like this version then let the truth come out. I am sticking with this in lieu of all the lies from the administration. The administration may as well free that coptic christian film maker... nobody believes the "video" lie anyway!

I would have a whole lot more confidence in the revelations of these men had they come out a year ago, six months ago. Now they make a big splash on FOX at a time which just happens to coincide with the release of a book, which happens to come very near an anniversary of the Benghazi attack.

Do I hope the truth - all of it - emerges some day? Of course I do. Does this kabuki give it to us? I hope so, but somehow doubt it.

One thing it does tell us - the "rooster" crowed three times.

The fact that both Obama and Clinton were "disappeared" has already proven their guilt in this mass murder.

Instant communication is the norm in the world no matter where you are. I have called the U.S. from the Middle East countless times and it´s just like calling from down the street. A situation like this would have generated lots of talk with the top level of the U.S. Government. The only thing missing is the names of the people who gave the orders, and you can bet they were not wearing military uniforms but suits - or dresses.

The "diplomatic base" in Benghazi was just State Department diplomatic cover for a secret CIA operation to purchase SA-7 surface-to-air missiles that had been looted from Gadhafi´s arsenal. Stevens was there negotiating purchases and then the transfers of the SAM´s to Turkey for trans-shipment to radical groups in Syria. It had been going on for some time. So, which group or groups blew the op? And which group or groups in Syria got the SA-7´s? Does ISIS have any of them?

It´s interesting that 9 months earlier, in November, 2011, Hezbollah rolled up virtually the entire CIA operation in Lebanon. Then in September, 2012, this CIA operation in Benghazi is wiped out. Sure, al Qaeda gets blamed and is happy to take credit, but the 9/11 Benghazi attack had the Muslim Brotherhood´s and Morsi´s fingerprints on it as well. I suspect that is what freaked Hillary. She thought her MB pals killed her ambassador. She was in obvious freefall afterwards. Now, what about Bob?

How anyone can slam these brave men and heap criticism on them for participating in the writing of their story, their experiences in Benghazi, is beyond me. A real sick-maker. Who lost Iraq? In so many words, that is now the increasingly potent counter to years of liberal charges that America’s problems in the world can be traced to the Bush-Cheney foreign policy — specifically the invasion of 2003. The question has now taken root, with “Iraq” serving as shorthand for everything from Iraq itself to ISIS, the Syrian mess, Benghazi, and more. Graphically illustrated by the beheadings of two American journalists, a British aid worker, ISIS armies causing chaos in the once-stabilized region. Suddenly, it feels like 2002. Democrats got creamed in midterm elections that year because the women voters they had relied on throughout the Clinton years deserted them. In 2000, women favored Democratic congressional candidates by nine points. In 2002, that advantage disappeared entirely. The biggest reason: 9/11. In polls that year, according to Gallup, women consistently expressed more fear of terrorism that men. And that fear pushed them toward the GOP, which they trusted far more to keep the nation safe. As then-Senator Joe Biden declared after his party’s midterm shellacking, “soccer moms are security moms now.” Unfortunately for President Obama,

Coalition? What coalition? Arab would-be allies in the fight against the Islamic State say (at best): Maybe. Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and other US-allied Arab regimes have sufficient reason to fight the jihadis that threaten their leaders’ hold on power. But they no longer trust America to lead them: We’ve let them down too many times these last five years. Qatar, on the other hand, has long supported extremists nearly as bad as ISIS (or ISIL as governments worldwide for some reason prefer). The Democrats and the institutional left have a new political tool that allows them virtually to ignore moderates yet still win elections. This tool, the Catalist database, was employed in the 2012 election. That election defied conventional wisdom: Mitt Romney sought and won independent voters overwhelmingly, but still lost. If you wondered why the conventional wisdom about independents and moderates didn’t seem so wise in 2012, the answer is Catalist. Beyond winning elections, Catalist also allows the Democrats to turn the policy narrative upside down and suffer no political consequence for implementing radical policies which appeal to their base. Democrats are now (very slightly) favored to hold the Senate majority on Nov. 4, according to Election Lab, the Post´s statistical model of the 2014 midterm elections. Election Lab puts Democrats´ chances of retaining their majority at 51 percent -- a huge change from even a few months ago when the model predicted that Republicans had a better than 80 percent chance of winning the six seats they need to take control. (Worth noting: When the model showed Republicans as overwhelming favorites, our model builders -- led by George Washington University´s John Sides -- warned that the model could and

President Barack Obama insisted on Wednesday that he would not send ground troops into Iraqi combat zones to fight the ISIS terrorist army, directly contradicting his top general who said a day earlier that the president asked him for boots-on-the-ground recommendations ´on a case-by-case basis.´ (Snip)´As your commander-in-chief,´ Obama insisted, ´I will not commit you and the rest of our armed forces to fighting another ground war in Iraq.´ On Tuesday, however, Joint Chiefs chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey told lawmakers that circumstances on the ground could drive him to push for American combat troops to be embedded with Iraqi army

Just call her a pit bull without lipstick! Sarah Palin is proving she has a sense of humor about the makeup-free photos that surfaced this week. On Monday, the 50-year-old politician was photographed by paparazzi looking fresh-faced without any cosmetics on. But instead of getting mad about the slyly snapped no-makeup shots, the former Alaska governor took to Facebook to joke about the incident. "Feel bad for the poor paparazzi hounding outside my truck this morning hoping to capture a tabloid ‘exclusive´ of me coming out of Bikram Hot Yoga. How about we take away their ‘exclusive´ and I´ll give

A village of just 1,000 residents in Switzerland has been forced to raise taxes because an African refugee and her seven children cost the local authority £40,000 in benefits every month. Hagenbuch, in the Swiss canton of Zurich, is understood to be spending close to a third of its total annual budget on the family after they arrived from Eritrea in East Africa three years ago. The massive benefits bill covers day-to-day living expenses such as groceries and cleaning costs, as well as paying for four of the woman´s children to be housed in an orphanage and even bills for

First Lady Michelle Obama visited sick children at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, where she complained about living at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and being married to the president of the United States. She made the comments in response to being asked about her "favorite part about being in the White House." "About being in the -- about being First Lady is being able to do stuff like this, really. And it is so special for me to get to meet kids like you guys," Michelle Obama started. "Because sometimes living in the White House and being married to the
