Report: NFL Officials Asked Teams To
Consider Signing Michael Sam To Practice Squad

Daily Caller, by Al Weaver

According to NBC’s Peter King and ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, NFL officials called teams around the league to gauge interest in signing Michael Sam to their practice squad. Yesterday, the Dallas Cowboys signed Sam, who is trying to become the first openly gay player in NFL history. King reported this during the pre-game show on NBC prior to the Seahawks/Packers season opener Thursday night. “The Rams waived Michael Sam, the first openly gay player trying to make an NFL roster, he was unemployed for two days,” King said. “During that time a league official contacted multiple teams asking if they

Yet another example of special treatment for gays.
Sam knew he had no shot at the NFL, with his small size and mediocre speed and talent.
So what to do? Why, "come out of the closet" and make himself a gay cause. Teams would then be keen to draft/sign him, just to prove they weren´t homophobic.
It didn´t work out that way, and common sense prevailed.
But the NFL league officials just couldn´t let that happen, and twisted arms and offered sweeteners to teams to take this manipulating loser.
And, of course, Jerruh Jonesss saw a chance to have the NFL beholden to him, and took Sam.
Good. The hype and distraction and lockerroom poison that Sam will surely bring couldn´t happen to a better team.
The new team name will be the Dallas Gayboys

I think that the LGBT activists intimidation campaign is working very well. They have succeeded in cowing all manner of corporations and institutions, including the NFL. So the NFL is making a business decision... Fend off Mozilla-style LGBT pressure and bad press by affirmatively giving special attention to Michael Sam.
All very slickly, quietly handled but still stinks of extortion and protection rackets to me, and so noted. For now the shrill fascist activist voices are quiet.

We watch football because we enjoy it. Recommend continuing to do the same - or not, if it doesn´t interest you - and ignoring the politics.

This guy will either perform or wash out. If they are propping him up, that can only last so long in this highly competitive sport.

Political pollsters have a tough job. They have to create formulas to determine if the person they are interviewing is likely to vote, and it is within this calculation that their reputations are made. Typically, those who are likely to vote in an off-year election are pretty set. They are the people who always vote in elections — with some motivated by specific issues. In a wave election, the number of those motivated by specific issues escalates, changing the electoral landscape as the candidates who are beneficiaries of this increased participation sweep to victory. The 2014 election is rapidly looking like something new
