Britain gears up for war on Isil with
plans for air strikes in Iraq and Syria

Telegraph [UK], by Peter Dominiczak

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 9/5/2014 1:16:35 AM

Britain could launch air strikes in Iraq and Syria within weeks after David Cameron set out a potential timetable for a military intervention and pledged to “use everything we have in our armoury” to wipe out Islamist terrorists. Downing Street was gauging whether Conservative MPs would support a military intervention against Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (Isil), with government whips asking MPs where they stood on the matter. (Snip) However, there were concerns that Mr Obama, the US president, is unwilling to go further than the targeted air strikes he has already launched in northern Iraq.

Obama has achieved what he set out to do. He has singlehandedly relinquished leadership of the greatest nation this world has ever known because of his affinity to the biggest threat to the world since Hitler. He has no fire in the belly to defeat Muslims because he identifies with them and their beliefs. The only reason he is doing anything is because he knows it would hurt him politically to ignore the threat which is his first inclination. We have sitting in the White House a person who more closely identifies with Muslims than he does with any other faith. He buys in to their victim hood and unfounded grievances. The fact that he holds little to no allegiance to this country explains why he has to be pushed kicking and screaming to do anything meaningful to defeat these brutal barbarians. I applaud Cameron for his clear assessment of who these vile creatures are and why they need to be annihilated. As expected, Obama is exposing his true feelings when he can´t even manage to dredge up any genuine outrage. He is absolutely pathetic in the face of this horrific threat.

Given the news yesterday (or 2 days ago) of a woman being beheaded in London and given the event a year or so ago of two terrorists (peace-lovin´ muslims) beheading a former soldier in broad daylight, I believe David Cameron "gets" it and I think he KNOWS they are already among them, in the streets of London...I think he knows an attack on the UK is imminent. I pray he´s not too late, but I think the UK has let this threat fester within for two decades -- and they are now mobilized strike.

The world has gotten into a dangerous situation with too much reliance on US power to keep order in the world and the other civilized nations being too weak to do anything effective. US power is neutralized by the foolishness of electing a traitor, alien, Obama. Let us hope others take note and if civilization survives that other nations don´t just bask under the protection of the most powerful ally while frittering away their strength with a welfare state. We will soon see if the civilized world can adapt quickly enough to the Obama vacuum and recover from the forces of Chaos. Let´s hope so!

Although most people seem to believe invading Iraq was a mistake, I disagree. Abandoning Bush"s objectives was the mistake. If we had the large base filled with arms, planes, tanks, etc that he planned we would now control the whole middle east and Isis would never have esxisted and Israel would not have had to fight the Palestinians or worry about Iran.

Atlanta - The message from a furious public to the National Football League over the past few weeks has been clear: Charges of domestic violence should have serious consequences. The San Diego school district will return its armored military vehicle to the Department of Defense, school officials announced Thursday night. The district joins a list of agencies returning excess military equipment amid a national controversy over local law enforcement agencies using such equipment. The controversy erupted when police in Ferguson, Mo., used military equipment and tactics to quell protests after the shooting of an unarmed black man by a white police officer. Law enforcement agencies in Ferguson, like hundreds of others, had received military equipment at no cost under the Excess Property Program.
