Ukraine abandoned
Washington Post, by Charles Krauthammer

Original Article

Posted By:Dreadnought, 9/4/2014 10:41:14 PM

At his first press briefing after the beheading of American James Foley, President Obama stunned the assembled when he admitted that he had no strategy for confronting ISIS, a.k.a. the Islamic State, in Syria. Yet it was not nearly the most egregious, or consequential, thing he said. Idiotic, yes. You’re the leader of the free world. Even if you don’t have a strategy — indeed, especially if you don’t — you never admit it publicly. However, if Obama is indeed building a larger strategy, an air campaign coordinated with allies on the ground, this does take time. George W. Bush

I have many friends in Ukraine and I have no words for how worthless our President is and I am embarrassed for America, being so worthless as a supposed ally. This man is an unmitigated disaster for the country and the world.

The USA, home of the fat, stupid and lazy, elected twice a President who guaranteed no action, no responsibility and no thought processes would be needed from the citizenry. And we reap the consequences. As always, the mystery is the MSM devotion to and compliance with such ignorance and corruption.

"The events of the past several months remind us of how difficult democracy can be in a country with deep divisions. But the Ukrainian people have also reminded us that human beings have a universal right to determine their own future."

- Barack Hussein Obama, Feb. 28, 2014

From an empty suit come empty words.

Though Obama is well versed in creating divisions in a country (ours) which threaten democracy.

Obama is applying his law of creeping gradualism to international relations. He is faking signs of evaluating real world events with a view towards moving in the direction of formulating a process whose possible goal may well be concrete movement in a useful direction at some point in the future. Or with the always faithful efforts of the media, in the past.

A Ukrainian lady said on DFW station to a reporter, "We know Obama isn´t worth anything but we want to know where the Republican Party is? Why so quiet? Where are they?" From the look on the faces of her companions, they are angry about that too.

The south is weighing this country down. Nowhere in the U.S. are Americans more overweight than in Mississippi and West Virginia, where more than 35 percent of the adult population is now obese, according to a new report from the Trust for America´s Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The two southern states, however, are hardly alone in their alarmingly high obesity rates—another 18 U.S. states, including just about all of the U.S. south, have obesity rates at or above 30 percent. The exceptions are few and far in between. Only seven U.S. states and one district—Vermont, Montana, Utah,

Obama’s herky-jerky leadership

The word of the day is herky-jerky, which is a polite way of saying erratic. And which, I regret to report, is a fitting description of President Obama’s handling of immigration. And, I regret even more, a metaphor for his stumbling stewardship. o recap and add perspective: The country’s immigration policy is broken, with 11 million undocumented immigrants forced to live in the shadows. That this situation endures is the fault of House Republicans who, captive to a gerrymandered, cable-inflamed populace that greets every reasonable solution with cries of “amnesty,” have rejected any comprehensive solution. This recalcitrance may be rational,

The rising tensions with Russia over its aggression in Ukraine is creating national security concerns inside the Pentagon, where the military’s largest satellite program is reliant on a rocket engine produced by Moscow. The Air Force said it has begun looking for alternatives to the RD-180 rocket engines for its Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle program — the fourth largest line item in the U.S. defense budget — now that Russia has threatened to cut off the technology in its -for-tat struggle with the U.S. Lawmakers and national security analysts said they were aghast that the military allowed itself to become

From Russia to Syria to Iraq to al Qaeda, President Obama and his aides have underestimated the motives and capabilities of U.S. adversaries. With regard to some, the Obama team initially characterized bad actors as U.S. partners, such as in the cases of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Syrian President Bashar Assad. In other instances, Mr. Obama ridiculed as a “JV team” the rampaging Islamic State terrorist group, said al Qaeda was “on the run” and declared Iraq secure as he pulled out all troops against the military’s advice. “I think, unfortunately, that the Obama administration has put a higher

Charles Krauthammer has no consoling words for President Obama in the wake of a second American journalist beheaded by the Islamic State. Scolding the president’s refusal to call Islamic State terrorists anything but “extremists,” Krauthammer called the president “a man in denial, on the verge of delusion.” “Here’s a man who comes into office and denies the existence of a war on terror,” said Krauthammer on Special Report. “And what do we see?” Krauthammer then proceeded to list attacks by Islamic jihadists in Somalia, Nigeria, Niger, Libya, Yemen, and, of course, Syria and Iraq. “It’s everywhere. In his autobiography, Dreams From My Father, the President wrote that in his teenage years “I tried my best to be cool at all times” (p. 82). However, leaving aside the contradiction inherent in trying to be cool, it is possible that Barack Obama’s teenage experiences may have left him psychologically, and perhaps even neurologically, incapable of performing fundamental tasks of his current position. The Internal Revenue Service has lost emails from five more employees who are part of congressional probes into the treatment of conservative groups that applied for tax-exempt status, the tax service disclosed Friday. The tax agency said in June that it could not locate an untold number of emails to and from Lois Lerner, who headed the IRS division that processes applications for tax-exempt status. The revelation set off a new round of investigations and congressional hearings. On Friday, the IRS issued a report to Congress saying the agency also lost emails from five other employees related to the probe,
