Tea Party unloads on ´complete
imbecile´ Rick Perry

Daily Beast, by Olivia Nuzzi

Original Article

Posted By:Fiesta del sol, 9/4/2014 9:38:06 AM

When Texas Gov. Rick Perry was indicted last month on two felony charges stemming from how he dealt with a misbehaving Democratic state official, the image of the stuttering 2012 Republican primary challenger was replaced with that of a hero-cowboy in the eyes of many conservatives. Perry was under attack from the left wing, and his response was not to apologize but to walk through a hail of blue-hued bullets and emerge laughing, without a mark on him. But some conservative true believers have begun to notice something rather suspicious: The company Perry keeps seems more suited to a mainstream

Comments:
Can´t believe the Daily Beast gets it right, but it does. What in the world is Perry doing hiring Steve Schmidt and Henry Barbour?

Such paranoia. He´s bringing them in to fight indictment not to campaign for him and we do not know what exactly they bring with them. Why not wait and see before calling someone an imbecile. I find many tea party people unschooled in the way of politics. Of course this is from the Daily Beast stirring up the pot

Living in Texas gives one a totally different perspective of Perry.

He has sold us out on numerous occasions, especially on toll roads. He and the Legislature stole the money from the highway fund then had the audacity to claim they had no money for roads and that is why we need toll roads. This is the tip of an ugly crony scenario worthy of leftist workings in the O admnistration.

Seems we, the citizens, always get the screw job while the crooked politicians lie to us and make tons of cash on the side by handing OUR money to their cronies.

As far as I´m concerned, any politician that practices this crony handout is a trator and should be taken out and hung!

I appreciate him as my State´s Gov. - But as a President, I would be very concerned.

They are really afraid of Perry because he is a conservative. The left doesn´t need facts, they can make those up -- You know his great uncle had that rock on a ranch, or now, he´s been doing his job by refusing to fund unethical liberals. And then, he wears glasses -- how can anyone vote for that?

Hiring those two unscrupulous consultants is a defense to keep Palin or Cruz out of the 2016 primary. Although, the hiring of those two do show his true colors. One bumbling in the WH now does not mean we need a second one.

Don´t blame back surgery and meds for his poor performance as minor surgery was done LONG before his first appearance in the primary.

The destruction of Perry has begun. He is not perfect but he has principles (whether you like them or not), he has guts, he is a patriot. Remember, in order to clean up the mess we are in, we will need somebody who can stand in front of a firing squad (the media) and not be afraid of telling it like it is.

#9, on thread after thread you state that Perry hired consultants to keep Palin and Cruz out of the presidential primary. That makes absolutely no sense. I guarantee Rick Perry doesn´t give a thought to the former demi-gov and I also guarantee there is no move either Perry or Cruz could make that would keep the other one out of the presidential primary if either of them wanted to enter.

School taxes keep going up because of all the illegal aliens. Obama doesn´t want to admit where the illegal children have been placed, but there are estimates that Houston has gotten most of them. This is part of the Obama designed plan to target Texas. And they have their puppets continuously suing in state courts (with Dem judges) to say that whatever system is in place is unconstitutional because the illegals don´t get enough money. Wise up, folks! Texas is in a constant fight against the Feds and the facist/marxist Dems. So far, Texas is winning. Give Perry some credit for this, as he deserves it.

If it were not for the Republicans in Texas, including Rick Perry and Greg Abbott and many oilfield workers, the US economy would be in total shambles. I hope that you non-Texans can forgive the accent and the manly footwear.

Schmidt and Barbour are on board to be Perry´s undoing. I hate to see it happen, but it will play out like that. He´s already had to disavow a rogue tweet that lost him some high ground with independents. Oddly enough, very shortly after those two snakes came aboard.

And when it´s over there will be another book where Schmidt unloads on another candidate from "behind the scenes". Just because Perry might not like Palin (understandably, I know, she said some very harsh and, IMO, unfair things about him) doesn´t mean he shouldn´t learn from her experience.

FTA: Rick Shaftan, a Republican consultant who involved himself in the Mississippi primary, offered “I don’t like what he did in Mississippi, but you know what? It shows he’s a ruthless, cutthroat operative, and there’s something to be said for that on the Republican side."

Perry has associated with Barbour since at least 2012, when Barbour served on his ill-fated but memorable presidential campaign.

You would have thought Perry learned his lesson. Barbour may be ruthless and a cutthroat operative, but he behaves that way with conservatives also, not just the "enemy" Democrats.

Schmidt regularly appears on the odious MessNBC and smears and bashes conservatives regularly. Does Perry think that will help him? Henry Barbour is toxic and you only have to look at his horrendous behavior and the skullduggery involved in that Chad Cochran race. Aren´t there any political Republican advisors who don´t HATE the conservative wing of the party?

I really like Rick Perry and he has shown a spine when many Republicans have not. However, you have to question his judgment when it comes to hiring those two. Quin Hillyer has it right when he says: "If somebody wants to get a sense of how a political leader might govern, it certainly is important to see who he hires.” Amen.

Voter turnout during last month´s primary races was a little too good in some counties, Arizona elections officials said Friday. Some precincts in northern Arizona tallied more ballots cast than there are registered voters, the Arizona Capitol Times reported. According to officials, errors made by poll workers and elections officials in Apache and Navajo counties led to the miscalculations. Initial reports from some precincts showed a turnout of anywhere from 200 to 400 percent. In Apache County, the Puerco West precinct reportedly had 100 votes cast, but only 23 voters are registered there. The voter turnout added up to 434

Step 1: Pick a foreign crisis that touches even slightly on U.S. national security interests. This shouldn´t be hard, because the United States defines practically everything in the world as being an American interest.Step 2: Make clear that this is no garden-variety problem but rather "the defining crisis of [OBAMA´S] presidency," or a threat to the "very foundations of global order" or the answer to the question,
