Obama vows to ´destroy´ ISIS, or at least
maybe ´shrink´ its influence some

Investor´s Business Daily, by Andrew Malcolm

For someone who entered America´s national life as a bright man who was a Real Good Talker, Barack Obama has slid precipitously, not just in the polls but in public perceptions. Of course, he would never admit it; in fact, he would never comprehend it. But this continuing decline is, in large part, his own fault. Like cake, Obama wants his rhetoric and credibility too. [Snip] Does the president of the United States have any core beliefs lasting longer than a paragraph?

FTA: "It is humanly possible, of course, that Obama is an authentic adherent of the Costanza School of Credibility, that if he believes something when he says it, then that makes it true."

Since 0bama is "airing his grievances" against IS, he´ll need a "Festivus pole" (because he´s such a military coward to face a true enemy) to post them for the terrorist to read. Finally, 0bama can finish with the "feats of strength" portion, where 0bama will probably choose as his weapon to "bore them to death" with his unending nonsensical rhetoric, even though wrestling between leaders is the normal specified choice. The next step is a "Festivus dinner," which even though not specified, should be a fully cooked pig, with the removed head served to the victor as a reminder if they had been the loser.

"Obama vows to ´destroy´ ISIS... or something, not sure what, maybe issue some strongly worded statements while waiting for the "international community" to come together to act. And of course, in the meantime, we must "make sure...that we are organizing the Arab world" because this is what community organizers do to strike fear into the hearts of the heathen.

Best line in the article: "Does the president of the United States have any core beliefs lasting longer than a paragraph?"

Of course not. He´s a tele-prompter reading carnival pitch man only interested in saying what is necessary to make the sale. And it has worked on 1/2 the American population who don´t realize or don´t care that his products are too expensive and don´t work.

Obozo´s plan is to destroy the US, not the Muslims.

He is VERY CAREFUL not to hurt the radicals.

He thinks it is WE citizens who need to be destroyed, and he proves it daily.

The sad thing is the fact that so many seemingly intelligent people fall for every thing the utters from this phony´s mouth.

Elise Stefanik gives the Republican Party´s Weekly Remarks Hi, I’m Elise Stefanik, and I’m running for Congress in New York´s 21st District. I´m proud to say I was born and raised in Upstate New York. And I grew up in a small business family. When I was a kid, my parents risked everything they had to start our family´s small business. And more than 20 years later, we’ve been proud to work with hundreds of small businesses in New York´s North Country. But Washington has made it harder for small businesses like ours to succeed and grow.

President Obama´s weekly remarks Hi, everybody. I’m at Millennium Steel in Princeton, Indiana, to have a town hall with workers on National Manufacturing Day. Because in many ways, manufacturing is the quintessential middle-class job. And after a decade of losing jobs, American manufacturing is once again adding them — more than 700,000 over the past four and a half years. In fact, it’s been a bright spot as we keep fighting to recover from the great recession.

"I love you too, Wisconsin!" Sounds like Barack Obama´s standard speech opening after someone in the adoring audience on cue shouts, "We love you, Barack!" Except these days it isn´t Barack. It´s the other Obama, Michelle, the one who became suddenly so proud of America back in 2008 when her husband was first running for presidnt. To be sure, she´s still doing the goody-goody, Tide-clean first lady stuff that they all do with students, moms and kids. But Mrs. Obama has also again taken on an aggressive role for Nov. 4.

A couple of weeks ago, Barack "If You Like Your Health Plan" Obama assured Americans the penetration of the deadly Ebola virus into the United States was an "unlikely event." Now that the first confirmed case is here already, ravaging the feverish body of an unidentified visitor from Liberia quarantined in a Dallas hospital, Obama is, as you´d expect, out of town raising money. Remember back in the 2012 presidential campaign when Barack Obama said things like: "Al Qaeda is on the run. We have decimated its core leadership. And Osama bin Laden is dead. But I don´t want Americans to think the struggle against terror is over. It´s not, by any means. We have a long fight ahead. By 2014, new terrorist groups may spring up and we´ll be back fighting in the Middle East." Neither do we.

On Monday, our brave men and women in uniform began air strikes against ISIL targets in Syria. And they weren’t alone. The military salute is a simple hand gesture but loaded with tradition, honor, symbolism and packed with respect, both given and returned. It began in the days of chivalry when knights would raise their right hand approaching other knights to show they had no weapon unsheathed. The salute seems often to confound civilians without military experience, who see it as somewhat akin to a fraternity hand sign. Every modern president since Truman has had military (and saluting) experience -- except two Democrats. And both Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have had trouble with the salute.

Lurching on to the new week´s next news diversion, the Obama administration announced new regulations Monday to punish U.S. businesses that employ Americans, make profits and seek to protect the gains for shareholders, as is their fiduciary responsibility. The over-hyped administration moves came against so-called business inversions, a perfectly legal pro forma shift of corporate headquarters to a foreign country with corporate taxes lower than the United States´ confiscatory 35% rate. The goal was to crimp the economic appeal of such moves. Although Russia and North Korea would not be recommended, the money-saving

The Ebola epidemic, says Dr Margaret Chan, director-general of the World Health Organisation (WHO), is now “the greatest peacetime challenge” since the Second World War.
