Eyes wide shut — Obama in denial
on nature of terror threat

New York Post, by Benny Avni

Original Article

As he raised the terror alert in his country to “severe,” the second-highest level, on Friday, British Prime Minister David Cameron said, “We are in the middle of a generational struggle against a poisonous and extremist ideology.”True. So what’s needed is coordinated global action, the kind of approach only America can lead.Instead, Washington’s national-security sophisticates will bore you to death with the nuances separating one jihadi group from another. President Obama calls the Islamic State “cancer.” Yet, as he told reporters Thursday, “we don’t have a strategy yet” to combat the malignancy. And it isn’t just IS. We hardly ever talk anymore

Zero may not be a practicing muslim (it would be most inconvenient to haul a prayer rug around in the Tan Hut) but he most assuredly is a muslim sympathizer. The First Kenyan will never inflict serious damage on ´his people´. Yes a few will die to support his version of a´war on terror´, but the tactical destruction of a large part of the muslim population will never be ordered by King Putt.

It is amazing how people still want to assign incompetence to his actions, always scratching their heads as to why he does to not see the light and change his ways.

I ask, what if his behavior is the result of malice, and he knows exactly what he is doing (or not doing)? Doesn´t that fit the facts exactly?

#2 - my thoughts exactly - if he was only incompetent, some of the things he does would be good the the United States just like heads or tails. I honestly can´t think of anything significant he´s done that is good for this country.

He isn´t in denial of the terrorist threat, he has taken sides. He is on the side of the Muslim Brotherhood and their affiliates which include al Qaeda and ISIS. He´s more or less neutral on the Iran/Syrian group of jihadis in that he won´t fight against them but he is on the other side in the jihadi vs. jihadi sectarian fight. All this is obvious if you pay attention to what he does and interpret what he says through the filter of the above knowledge. He knows the situation and they know the situation. That´s why we aren´t being attacked. Why would they attack us and force Obama to retaliate on them and why would Obama attack them, break the status quo and draw terrorist attacks on us . . . either way Obama erodes his credibility and the terrorists are hurt. The status quo is Obama´s and the terrorists most favorable situation.

Neil deGrasse Tyson is a very famous and popular scientist. He even has a TV show. And wears a cool astronomical vest. Only he’s not infallible. This rather basic truth has been established over the past couple weeks, over much resistance and at the cost of much abuse, by Sean Davis of the lively new conservative website, the Federalist. Davis dug into a handful of just-so stories repeated by Tyson in his public lectures, the point of which is to make himself — and by extension, his audience — feel superior to the dolts who aren’t nearly as scientific as he is. So I´ve been catching up on all the latest accumulation of Washington wisdom — or, at least, all the wisdom that I can accumulate in a Twitter feed — and now I totally get why no one other than Rand Paul or Ted Cruz or the reincarnated Pat Buchanan can possibly win the Republican nomination in 2016. (Actually, Pat´s alive and well — it´s just that he´s on the McLaughlin Group. My bad.) You see, the party´s base voters — the ones who turn out to vote in primaries and caucuses — are too completely off the rails to nominate a

There may be a pattern involving the IRS losing e-mails and other key computer records. For months, the House Oversight Committee has been pursuing the lost e-mails of Lois Lerner and other figures in the IRS tax-exempt organization scandal. Now, the private-jet company NetJets is claiming in a lawsuit that as part of its tax dispute with the agency the IRS “wiped clean a number of computer hard drives containing emails and other electronic documents that the Government was required to produce.” NetJets sued the IRS in 2011, claiming that it improperly applied a ticket tax on users of its aircraft that

A staffer at a local radio station in upstate New York lashed out at a Republican congressman earlier this month, expressing hope that his Democratic challenger would win in November and telling the career Army officer to get a “real job.” “Someday (hopefully) he will be replaced by Sean Eldridge,” wrote an employee of WIOX Radio to the reelection campaign of Rep. Chris Gibson (R., N.Y.) in a Sept. 18 email to Gibson aide Rebecca Shaw. Eldridge, the husband of Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes, is the Democratic candidate in New York’s 19th district, where he has lived for less than two years. Gibson’s

Government watchdog groups and transparency advocates are asking the Obama administration to review its policy of having the White House sign off on an expanded number of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests—a procedure they say causes significant delays. In a letter to the White House released Monday, 25 transparency organizations said the Obama administration’s policy of reviewing FOIA requests that contain so-called “White House equities” has “caused significant confusion and delay among agencies in their compliance with the Freedom of Information Act.” According to a 2009 memo from the White House Counsel to all agency heads and general counsels, the White

When Kansas City Chiefs safety Husain Abdullah intercepted a Tom Brady pass and returned it for a touchdown Monday night, he did what so many other NFL players do to celebrate a big play: He paused to make a religious gesture of thanks. Abdullah was penalized 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct after he dropped to his knees in the end zone

For those who are unfamiliar with that last term, it is derived from the 2006 film Idiocracy that is best described by Wikipedia: a futuristic " dystopian society wherein advertising, commercialism, and cultural anti-intellectualism have run rampant and dysgenic pressure has resulted in a uniformly unthinking society devoid of intellectual curiosity, social responsibility , and coherent notions of justice and human rights." Ugly Senate fight could await
Obama´s attorney general nominee
Washington Examiner, by Byron York    Original Article

President Obama has a pretty obvious deadline for nominating a successor to departing Attorney General Eric Holder. If Democrats lose control of the Senate in November, they´ll still run things until newly-elected members arrive in January. So just to be safe, if the president wants guaranteed confirmation of a new attorney general, he´ll need to pick one soon. That way, even if Republicans win the Senate, and even if Obama´s choice is unpopular with the GOP, lame-duck Democrats will still be able to steamroll the opposition and confirm a new Attorney General. But it could be very, very ugly. The White House

President Barack Obama has taken a lot of flack since his Sunday night “60 Minutes” interview, in which he blamed the intelligence community for his failure to tackle the threat posed by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. And that is right and proper. Because not only was his excuse of blaming us a lie, but when questioned on his lie, White House press secretary Josh Earnest doubled down with a whole new lie — both of which are easily, publicly proven false. On Sunday, Obama said the intelligence community had underestimated the rise of ISIS, saying in an interview

The Obama administration found itself scrambling on Tuesday to defend President Barack Obama for his lackluster 42% attendance record on daily intelligence briefings, a finding from a new report issued by the non-partisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI). When asked about the GAI revelation on Fox News, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki appeared flustered and unprepared. "Well, I have no validation of those statistics," said Psaki. "There are a range of ways that you can get your intelligence briefings on the road, in the White House, and I know that he receives those whenever he can."

The quintessential question of Watergate was “what did the President know and when did he know it?” Obamagate, the vast scandal that encompasses an entire presidency, offers a preemptive answer. After skipping 58% of his daily intelligence briefings in Term 1 and 59% of them in Term 2, he went on 60 Minutes and blamed intelligence agencies for being

President Obama this week committed professional suicide. Let me explain. There is a theory in politics that once a leader has fired 50 or more people from his or her administration, he or she is finished. The reason being that by creating so many enemies ‘outside the tent’, the tent itself becomes too deluged with poisonous bile to avoid sinking into a quagmire of back-stabbing ignominy. Obama went a lot further than firing 50 people. He managed to single-handedly alienate 200,000 employees in the American intelligence agencies by going on 60 Minutes and ruthlessly chucking them all under a bus

HOUSTON, Texas -- Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay was found not guilty today by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. This is the highest appellate court in Texas for criminal cases and thus brings DeLay’s political persecution to an end. The court upheld the ruling last year from the Texas 3rd Court of Appeals. That decision tossed out the convictions on money laundering and conspiracy charges. At that time Justice Melissa Goodwin wrote “The fundamental problem with the state´s case was its failure to prove proceeds of criminal activity,” according to a September 19th report on Breitbart News.
