Beck predicts Clinton 2016 win
Politico, by Nick Gass

Hillary Clinton will be the next president, Glenn Beck said on his radio show Tuesday. Beck said a friend of his spoke with “some Hillary people” about her 2016 campaign strategy and after he heard it, he realized the former first lady and secretary of state would become the next White House occupant. “You guys are going to all be fighting on Benghazi and everything else,” Beck said his friend told him. “And here is what Hillary is going to do: ‘Do you remember when America was good? Do you remember when America, we had jobs and we were building towards a

Personally I do not remember the Clinton years favorably, except I do remember the Gingrich years favorably.

Bill Clinton brought us a stronger Osama bin Ladin and Hillary Clinton brought us a stronger ISIS. Which is worse?

Credibility is the coin of the realm, and Beck´s slip is showing as far as I´m concerned. My gut instinct always told me not to trust this guy despite agreeing with him on many issues.

If anyone was listening to Beck and his crew today, it must have hit them like a ton of bricks that everything has been a joke. Shallow. Wandering. Stuttering. Falling all over each other. I can´t believe I subscribed to the Blaze TV not once but twice. No more. I didn´t even like the Blaze TV but it was snake oil...and I bought it. Beck had some redeeming qualities but I´m done. I´m sad about it.

I have listened to Beck´s radio show a few times on the Patriot Channel and I just find him disturbing. He sounds like he is suffering from some kind of mental illness. He does drama better than any teen-ager. Strange guy really.

Glen lost me with the "teddy bears" but he was well on his way to crazy-land even before that. Good thing he has plenty of money to last him because his 15 minutes are just about up. Too bad, he used to be interesting and could have done a lot of good but he spun out of control somehow. Buh bye, Glen.

Handicapping a race before you know who´s running is a tall order. Admittedly, recent GOP candidates have run poor campaigns, so it´s not a leap to pick Clinton. I´d give Clinton a 40% of winning, which is pretty high given that there´s 2 years to go before the election.

He´s probably right - because the Republicans will dither, sit on their hands, or suck their thumbs and play nice instead of attacking.

But this strategy means she has to run against Obama´s record, and refutiate what he´s done.

Think any Rebub will use that as leverage? Think again.

Romney was handed the empty chair line by Clint Eastwood, and should have run with it, every lawn in America could have had a Romney sign next to an empty lawn chair.

Nothing.

Hate to say it, but I´m afraid Beck is right on this one, along with the above posters pointing out the weakness in the Repubican [not a typo, h/t Mark Levin] field.

By the early 1930s, Herman J. Assuming this report can ever be proven true, Vladimir Putin has continued to engage in an even larger than normal dose of saber rattling. Or is it something more? Speaking with the President of Ukraine, Putin allegedly told him that the Bear’s reach is mighty long indeed. President Vladimir Putin privately threatened to invade Poland, Romania and the Baltic states, according to a record of a conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart. “If I wanted, in two days I could have Russian troops not only in Kiev, but also in Riga, Vilnius, Tallinn, Warsaw and Bucharest,” Mr Putin allegedly told President

The whole point of setting the border between Mexico and the United States at the deepest channel of the Rio Grande was that the river was not supposed to move. That was the thinking in 1848, when, following Mexico’s defeat by the United States and surrender of its vast northern lands, boundary surveyors from the two countries were tasked with reinventing the border. The choice of the river for the boundary’s eastern half had been obvious: its use as a territorial marker stretched back into the region’s Spanish colonial past, and it was hard to miss and often difficult to

The quote comes from The Roosevelts, the new Ken Burns documentary that PBS airs this month. But the term “documentary” doesn’t do The Roosevelts justice. “Extravaganza” is more like it: In not one but 14 lavish hours, the series covers two great presidents, Theodore Roosevelt, who served in the first decade of the last century, and Franklin Roosevelt, who led our nation through the Great Depression and to victory in World War II. The last few weeks of public polling have offered contradictory and surprising results, like surveys showing the Democratic Senate candidate in Colorado either up by six percentage points or down by eight. Nonetheless, the polls have clarified the fight for the Senate. States like North Carolina and Michigan have moved toward the Democrats, while Arkansas and Louisiana have drifted toward the Republican column. The result is that the list of battleground states has shrunk, with perhaps only Alaska, Iowa and Kansas remaining as true tossups. The official explanation “sounds a bit too good to be true,” said Sinan Ulgen, a former Turkish diplomat who chairs the Istanbul-based Centre for Economics and Foreign Policy Studies. “There are some very legitimate and unanswered questions about how this happened.” The hostages

I know a lot of people are giddy at the prospect of Republicans taking the Senate this November, but that’s becoming less and less likely. It’s not because Democrats are rallying around a particular mission or set of candidates; it’s because Republicans and conservatives aren’t. It seems like I’m always writing on issues no one wants to hear are mistakes, such as messaging or social issues. But I don’t care. These things have to be said. If these columns are received like a gaseous cousin on a long car trip through the desert, so be it. Crack a window… If things continue on their current course, the GOP will not retake the Senate.

Since he traded five imprisoned Taliban leaders for Bergdahl, the US Government Accountability Office has declared the swap illegal, and nearly two dozen House Democrats have joined Republicans in officially condemning the move for making “Americans less safe.”
