Military Abandons Some
Combat Dogs Overseas

Breitbart Big Peace, by John Nolte

Original Article

In his USA Today column, Jonah Goldberg exposes a national disgrace I was completely unaware of, one that is almost too heartbreaking to comprehend: the United State military sometimes reclassifies combat dogs as "equipment" and abandons them to languish in shelters overseas in war zones. Other than the fact that combat dogs save an average of 150 American lives during their service, these living creatures form strong emotional attachments to the men assigned to them. But when their time is up -- when they become too old, combat fatigued or shall-shocked to be useful in combat -- rather than transport

What can we do? Seriously! Is there an organization to bring these magnificent partners back?

Really, do we expect this administration to treat service dogs any better than it has treated human vets?

For those who don´t know, these dogs, typically German Shepherds, or Belgian Malinois for the SpecOps guys, are worth around $75k each after training. Leaving them behind is like sending them to slaughter, as muzzies hate dogs and kill them on principle.

I despise any military commander who would order such a dispicable thing. Thse dogs would lay down their lives for their handler, and absolutely deserve better.

How bravely we speak out against this treatment. How cowardly we truly are by not forcing our Congress to impeach the President.

Right now would be a good time to force the issue. Impeach or don´t plan on being reelected. PERIOD! That should include Anti-American Democrats and RINO Republicans.

Oh wait...I forgot...we are too lazy or toooo buuussssyyyy.

These combat dogs are given a higher military rank than their handlers. So much for Barry and his lie about leaving no military member behind. But then, he´s a muzzie, has a taste for dog meat, and could care less about the military including their service dogs.

Trade the gitmo detainees for all the dogs. It would be a better trade than the deserter. A country is known by the way they treat their animals.

Less than 48 hours ahead of a planned address to the nation on how the U.S. plans to combat Islamic State terrorists operating in Iraq and Syria, President Obama dined at the White House Monday with a slate of foreign policy experts. Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and Secretary of State John Kerry were joined by some of Washington’s most established foreign policy hands, including Clinton National Security Adviser Sandy Berger and Zbigniew Brzezinski, who held the same position during the Carter administration. Former Obama national security adviser Tom Donilon was also at the dinner, as was former Undersecretary for Defense Policy

The beatings of three people in a Kroger parking lot Saturday night will not be investigated as a hate crime, according to police officials. Memphis Police Department director Toney Armstrong said he’s had lots of calls asking how the investigation would proceed but said there is “not sufficient enough evidence to investigate this as a hate crime.” “I know this has a lot of racial undertones,” Armstrong said during a news conference Monday at Memphis City Hall. “I’ve gotten a lot of calls and I know (Memphis Mayor A C Wharton) has as well. Some Latino Democrats, saying they are fed up with President Barack Obama’s broken promises on immigration reform, are threatening to sit out the midterm elections and claim there will be backlash at the ballot box come November. “Maybe only by paying a price at the polls will Democrats finally stop throwing us under the bus,” Carmen Velasquez, founder and retired executive director of Alivio Medical Center in Chicago, wrote in Politico Magazine. Immigration activists are voicing their anger on social media and in the press about Pres. Obama abandoning his pledge to act on immigration by the end of summer, instead delaying

Joan Rivers "banned" First Lady Michelle Obama, pop star Adele and talk show host Chelsea Handler from attending her funeral just weeks before her sudden death. The comedienne sent Hollywood into mourning when she died Thursday, days after suffering a cardiac arrest during a routine throat procedure. Her funeral was held in her New York on Sunday and attracted stars including Hugh Jackman, Whoopi Goldberg, Kelly Osbourne and Sarah Jessica Parker, and it has now emerged Rivers had previously drawn up a wish-list of famous faces who should stay away. In one of her final interviews, conducted just weeks before her death, she

Half of all bird species in North America — including the bald eagle — are at risk of severe population decline by 2080 if the swift pace of global warming continues, the National Audubon Society concluded in a study released Monday. "The scale of the disruption we´re projecting is a real punch in the gut," said Gary Langham, chief Audubon scientist. (Snip) By 2080, the bald eagle, the national symbol of the United States, could see its habitat decrease by 75%, the report says. All of the habitat of the common loon, the state bird of Minnesota, could disappear in the lower 48

Washington — Panera Bread on Monday asked customers not to bring firearms into its restaurants, joining a growing list of retail and fast-food chains that have declared their establishments gun-free zones. The company said it wants to ensure that "customers and associates feel comfortable and welcome” in its restaurants. “We ask that guns not be brought into this environment unless carried by an authorized law enforcement officer," the eatery chain, which boosts 1,800 locations in the United States and Canada, said in a statement Monday. "Panera respects the rights of gun owners, but asks our customers to help preserve

This morning, New York Times reporter Kim Severson spiced up her obituary for Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy by tagging him "a symbol of intolerance" who presided over a "restaurant chain [seen by some] as a symbol of hate." Here´s the relevant excerpt (emphasis mine): When he introduced himself, S. Truett Cathy often played down his job. “I cook chicken for a living,” he would say. And on the surface, that was true. Mr. Cathy, who died on Monday at 93, was by all appearances a humble Christian man from Georgia with little education who sold a simple sandwich: a

While the Texas Democrat was all business on top — wearing a red suit jacket with a black and white scarf and pearl necklace — she was ready to hit the beach on the bottom, with her toe-baring shoes. The House feed on C-SPAN did not capture the summer recess-worthy thongs. The Obama administration will make a decision on executive action to prevent corporations from leaving the country in the "very near future," Treasury Secretary Jack Lew said Monday morning. Speaking at an event on business taxes at the Urban Institute in Washington, Lew placed the responsibility on Congress to address so-called tax inversions, but said that the administration was prepared to step in if lawmakers don´t move quickly enough. Inversions are tax maneuvers in which corporations buy firms in low-tax countries in order to place their headquarters in that country. Such deals have grown in number in recent months, with

Megyn Kelly tonight brought viewers the first part of her contentious showdown with Professor Ward Churchill, best known for his controversial comments about the “little Eichmanns” who were in the World Trade Center when the planes hit on September 11th. Churchill came under intense scrutiny and was fired by the University of Colorado at Boulder. What concerned Kelly most in the first part of the interview was that “little Eichmanns” comment, the argument being that Eichmann played a role in horrible atrocities even though he didn’t directly carry out the Final Solution, which he views as similar to the financial

Free money for everyone! With weak job growth, rising poverty, and the rich continuing to devour nearly all economic growth, it´s an idea that is gaining more credence. Arguments for a universal basic income (UBI) — in which everyone without exception would receive an equal stipend — have flourished in policy-centric areas of the internet, including The Week. Advocates of UBI see it as a blunter, more effective means of reducing poverty and shrinking the inequality gap. But even if UBI proponents are right on the merits, Tyler Cowen argues that the politics of the issue are not favorable. Under
