And he´s off! Obama jets out of the

about Steven Sotloff – three hours after
ISIS beheading video is made public

Barack Obama left for a three-day European swing Tuesday afternoon without saying a single word in response to a terrorist video showing the beheading of Steven Sotloff, the second American journalist to die that way on camera. The president´s departure came amid equally deafening swirls of helicopter rotors and tough questions about whether and when the U.S. will strike back in a meaningful and public way against ISIS, the self-proclaimed Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham. News of Sotloff´s execution broke online at 1:05 p.m. as White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest prepared for his daily briefing with reporters; he

Comments:
Obama´s behavior is stunning, absolutely stunning. You know it´s bad when Christiane Amanpour says of Brett McGurk ´You say "stay tuned," she snapped at McGurk, ´but in the meantime ISIS is busy beheading our colleagues.´." McGurk, the Deputy U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Iraq and Iran, had said "Americans should ´stay tuned´ for a reaction from the Obama administration." Un.be.lievable.

Priorities, Priorities...

It´s not as if Sotloff was a teenage black American thug shot by a white cop two months before the national elections.

Really, OP! pshah! silly!

Everyone hold your horses! Just wait until, say, the week before the election? Then you´ll probably see some REAL action!

excuse the sarcasm.

The horrors of reality are in such contrast to the perfunctoriness of BO´s manner.

Oh he is so full of sound and fury, on Labor Day, for example, as he rallies his real favorite troops: bleachers filled with "mind-numbed robots", toadies and sycophants.

Well come on "folks" you can´t expect the President to comment on every beheading of an American by ISIS there´s going to be just too many and he´s just too busy to do that./s

As one previous poster said - I wonder what hole he was on when he found out about the beheading?

Obama does not care about a Jew getting beheaded by his brothers in faith. In the last few months the only thing that "enraged" Obama was when Israel did not stop defending itself against the savages soon enough for him.

The announcement that he would delay his immigration initiative until after the election and his formal announcement that the United States would take military action against the Islamic State could have been coerced. Maybe Democratic leaders in Congress and a few members of the Obama team have had it. Could it be that, after President Obama briefed Democrats in Congress on the immigration plan, they balked?
