Obama warned Isis terrorists ´will
target US cities and kill with abandon´

Independent [UK], by Stuart Henderson

President Obama needs to take action to stop Islamic State (Isis) militants from targeting cities in America and Western Europe, two senators have warned. Without offering specifics on any threats or suggestions on how to confront them, the leaders of the Senate and House of Representatives intelligence committees urged the White House to work to prevent the Islamic State extremists from launching attacks on US soil. The bipartisan pair shared a dire warning against Isis, which now has control of vast swathes of Syria and Iraq, has killed civilians from that region and beheaded American journalist James Foley. “This is

Obama and his imbecilic disciples don´t care.

And since the attack will happen where his worshippers live and worship him, why should the rest of us really care?

It won´t be like 9/11 this time. Obama has dumbedown the country too much. Heck, we don´t have a country anymore more anyway, do we?

Sad, I still love what used to be my country... I feel like an old schmuck.

Obama has taken security shield down from America. I think he really wants an attack to call martial law. Wonder if there is collaberation with the enemy?

FTA: The top Democrat on Mr Rogers´ intelligence panel, Dutch Ruppersberger of Maryland, was more sceptical. He said more needed to be known before judging whether extremists planned to commit terrorist acts in the US any time soon.

He said the group´s priority now seemed to be to hold on to territory it had gained, rather than export violence.

“It is extremely urgent, but you don´t just rush in,” Mr Ruppersberger said.

It was a view shared by Adam Smith, a Washington state Democrat on the House Armed Services Committee: “We can´t simply bomb first and ask questions later,” he said.

Dear Mr. Ruppersberger and Mr. Smith:
Yes, we could rush in, and Yes We Can! bomb first and ask questions later when we are dealing with a group that has made the threats they have made against us. We don´t need another 9/11 to prove their threats.

#1, #5 – Unless my understanding of the news article is incorrect, Obama did not warn ISIS. Obama was warned by Senator Dianne Feinstein and Representative Mike Rogers that ISIS is looking for a spectacular attack in the States as well as Western Europe. That warning is based on their access to sensitive secrets and detailed briefings.

The administration must have had this whole endeavor planned for some time. Remember the mysterious construction on the White House grounds not long after Obama came into office? Many believe it was a bunker being constructed.

So just out of curiosity just what has the United States done to ISIS to make them threaten us? They issued their threats even before Obama started dropping bombs. Did they threaten any other countries? ´ haven´t heard any mention of that. They seem to be focused on us.

Like another said, Obama is on the ropes but doubtful there will be a near end of match ambush like Muhammad Ali used to do. The admin is no doubt in the planning phase how they will get ISIS transported to the northern hemisphere in mass.

We have certain constraints regarding our own citizens who have been radicalized. However, there are thousands of non-citizens in our country on a "watch list". Why? Escort them to a plane bound for their country at our expense and never let them return. This is not rocket science, people!

In fact, you may vastly reduce the attendance at the mosques that are radicalizing our foolish young men who have just one common thread with these people ... the hatred of America. And for this we can thank all the community activists like Obama and Sharpton and Jackson, who have made a living off of stirring discontent.

We can conclude that either, a.) he never read them each day, or b.) his reading comprehension skills are so low, he couldn´t absorb or retain what he (supposedly) read.

Somehow, he never heard the term used by past presidents who assured us, "All options are on the table," when dealing with evil doers, instead of his we have no strategy BS.

Look at it from ISIS´s point of view. They´re close to taking over in Iraq and Syria, do they want to screw that up by attacking the US and riling up the American people forcing Obama to act, especially when they know that if they don´t rile the US Obama will never do anything to oppose them? They´ve got two years to do whatever they want with no significant US opposition. I think they´ll take it and turn their attention to the US after Obama is gone.

WASHINGTON — As Obama administration officials sought to reassure Americans about efforts to contain Ebola in the wake of the first U.S. case, the military announced Friday that an additional 1,000 troops could be sent to West Africa to help fight the virus. And that number could go higher than that, said Rear Adm. John Kirby, the Pentagon press secretary. "I´m not going to put a floor or ceiling on this," Kirby said. President Obama initially ordered 3,000 troops to West Africa to help build hospitals, labs and treatment centers and provide logistics help. They are not going to treat Ebola

Ebola is spreading at the rate of five new cases an hour in Sierra Leone, according to figures released as world leaders and experts on disease control gathered in London to discuss the outbreak. The figures from Save the Children showed there were 765 new cases last week in the west African country alone, but only 327 hospital beds to treat infected patients. The charity said the “terrifying” rate of the spread of the disease was outstripping medical supplies and threatened a breakdown of Sierra Leone’s already fragile health system. (Snip) "This is what will cause the battle to be transported to the hearts of your own homes; because Muslims will not stand idly by and watch Muslims be bombed and killed in their countries, while you are safe on your countries. The price of war will not be paid by your leaders alone. You will pay the biggest price," he

WASHINGTON — The U.S. military is spending as much as $10 million per day on its new air war against Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria, a relative pittance compared with the hundreds of millions it spent fighting every day in Afghanistan in 2013. The costs in Iraq and Syria will escalate substantially if, as President Obama and Pentagon officials have said, the new war lasts for years, according to military analysts. Flying and maintaining warplanes requires a substantial investment in weaponry and personnel. "If airstrikes in Syria and Iraq continue for as long as the president predicts, they

Even as U.S. airstrikes continued to pound Islamic State positions in Syria, Kurdish fighters told FoxNews.com the terror organization was advancing on the Syrian town of Kobani, where as many as 400,000 residents and refugees are holed up. “Tell the world what is happening” said Rooz Bahjat, a senior Kurdish military officer said Wednesday by phone. “This could be a massacre if no help arrives.” Desperate field commanders in Kobani, also known as Ayn al-Arab, fear the worst unless help arrives soon, and note 70,000 refugees have already fled across the border into Turkey. Hundred of thousands more, including women,

Airstrikes in Syria against the extremist Khorasan group were prompted by planning for an “imminent” terror attack on U.S. soil, the Pentagon said. (Snip) Amid attention on the threat from Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, Khorasan has emerged in recent weeks as a more immediate peril in the view of the U.S. intelligence community because it’s more focused on attacking America and Europe. The militant group is made up of a “network of seasoned al-Qaeda veterans” preparing to attack “United States and Western interests,” the Defense Department said in a statement. That “puts them at the top of groups threatening

In her just-released memoir, 27 year-old "Girls" star Lena Dunham claims that as a 19 year-old Oberlin College student in Ohio, she was raped by a college Republican. In the first chapter that addresses the encounter, Dunham describes the "ill-fated evening of lovemaking" as awkward and hollow. The most sensational moment comes from the fact that "Barry" wasn´t wearing a condom. In the next chapter, Dunham backtracks with the claim that she´s an "unreliable narrator" and accuses "Barry" of rape: [I]n another essay in this book I describe a sexual encounter with a mustachioed campus Republican as the upsetting but

A recently retired Secret Service agent told MailOnline on Thursday that former director Julia Pierson´s resignation will be welcomed by the agency´s rank-and-file because ´people in the service thought she was a joke from Day One.´ He attributed her swift fall from grace to a cadre of ´p***ed off agents who had had enough´ of feeling disrespected by the service´s first female director. ´Putting her in charge was part of the [Obama] administration´s push to feminize the service after the "hookergate" nightmare,´ the agent said, referring to agents who were fired after patronizing prostitutes during a security-check trip to Colombia

Deadly, irrational, and determined, the intruder snuck across a weakened perimeter. Eluding capture, the intruder was detained only after missteps and close calls. The spin began soon after the threat was isolated. Information was selectively leaked. Half-truths and untruths were uttered. Responsibility was avoided; privileges and credentials asserted; authority reasserted. Trust us. Remain calm. Don’t panic. This is the template of recent events. A mental case jumps the White House fence. He makes it to the East Room before he’s tackled by an off-duty Secret Service agent. Initial statements turn out to be misleading or false. It’s the “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.” A New York appeals court next week will consider whether chimps should have the same rights as human beings. The extraordinary proceeding is the result of a lengthy battle by animal-rights activists who argue that animals with human qualities — including chimps — are entitled to human protections, including freedom from captivity. Steven Wise, part of the Nonhuman Rights Project, which is leading the effort, will have to convince a panel of Albany appellate judges that a chimp name Tommy is a “legal person” to get him moved from a cage

What on earth is an ohbee-guynee? Apparently it is a weird Obamaspeak pronunciation of OB/GYN (pronounced oh-bee-gee-why-en). For the president’s benefit, let me specify that means a doctor who delivers babies and takes care of the lady parts. When President Obama announced the departure of Eric Holder from his position as attorney general, he also mentioned his “good friend,” the AG’s wife, Dr. Sharon Malone, and he called her an “ohbee-guynee.” (snip) it almost seems as though someone raised in a fantasized USSR training camp for deep cover agents was inserted into the identity of Barack Obama and loosed upon

President Obama was at Northwestern University on Thursday to deliver an economic speech that, he and his team hoped, would lay out the case for why the public is better off today than they were six years ago -- even if they didn´t feel it in their everday lives. Instead, Obama just gave every Republican ad-maker in the country more fodder for negative ads linking Democratic candidates to him. Here are the four sentences that will draw all of the attention (they come more than two thirds of the way through the speech): "I am not on the ballot this

It is the stuff that nightmares are made of, and day by day it is getting worse. The Ebola epidemic, says Dr Margaret Chan, director-general of the World Health Organisation (WHO), is now “the greatest peacetime challenge” since the Second World War. Yet her own organisation’s tardiness, partly caused by cuts, together with reductions in--and misuse of--funds elsewhere, are largely responsible for Ebola spiralling out of control. [Snip] It’s just the beginning. At present the numbers of people infected are thought to be doubling in under 30 days--and the blue-chip US Center for Disease Control and Prevention predicts that, if Ebola

In a speech in Boston, First Lady Michelle Obama left behind talk of exercise and school lunches, exchanging it all for bald politics by claiming that under her husband the US economy is now better off "by almost every economic measure." The First Lady appeared at the Strand Theater Friday to stump for Martha Coakley´s campaign for Governor of Massachusetts. Coakley needs help badly, as even in blue, blue Massachusetts, the race between Democrat Coakley and Republican Charlie Baker is essentially a toss up. In her remarks, Obama pushed the President´s newest campaign line that he has saved the economy based on

Meghan McCain joined the dog pile on the Secret Service this week, saying she’s had “nothing but horrible experiences" with the agency and likening the agents to “glorified mall cops.” The 29-year-old author and television personality, who is also the daughter of former GOP presidential candidate Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), opened up on Pivot’s “TakePart Live” about some of her interactions with the Secret Service. WASHINGTON — Representative Elijah E. Cummings of Maryland was at the grocery store the other day when he ran into an elderly black woman who expressed growing concern about President Obama’s safety. Why, she asked, wasn’t he being better protected by his Secret Service agents? The furor that led to this week’s resignation of the director of the Secret Service resonated deeply among blacks, outraged that those supposed to be guarding the first black president were somehow falling down on the job — and suspicious even without evidence that it may be deliberate. “It is something that is widespread in

ATLANTA — Texas, America’s second-most populous state behind California, saw 13 of its last abortion clinics turn away women on Friday, after a federal appeals court upheld a law that practically guarantees that only a handful of clinics will remain open in the state. The strictest-of-its-kind Texas law requires abortion providers to build hospital-grade facilities and obtain sometimes impossible-to-get hospital admitting privileges. After signed into law last year by Gov. Rick Perry (R), the law forced most of the 41 clinics operating to close. Thursday’s ruling wiped out a brief victory this summer for abortion rights proponents,
