With Islamic State, 9/11 anniversary,
Obama’s incompetence is truly dangerous

Washington Times, by Joseph Curl

On TV, incompetence is funny, sometimes hilarious. Jackie Gleason made a career of it on the old “Honeymooners” show; Tom Haverford is absurdly incapable on “Parks and Recreation”; and Michael Scott brought the Peter Principle to new heights in “The Office.” But in real life, incompetence can be dangerous, even life-threatening (think a real-life Homer Simpson actually in charge of safety at a nuclear power plant). That’s where America finds itself nearly six years into the presidency of Barack Obama. There’s no question Mr. Obama has all but checked out. There’s just no way to explain the president’s decision to

It is done with calculated indifference. I do not for one minute believe he isnt aware of damage he has wrought. He revels in it.

Homer Simpson would be an improvement. He´s an American. ØDumbø could ask someone for advice. But that would be an admission that he just is incapable of solving any of the world´s problems. We are adrift on a ship with no one at the wheel. We just have to hope that when he finally leaves whoever takes over can save the country.

We are at no loss here. Opie is so incompetent it wouldn´t make a difference if he did act on ISIS. It´s all show with this Regime it is always delay, delay, delay. You have to remember Valarie Jarrett is not up to snuff on Foreign policy so Opie has no one to turn to for advice unless he would go to SOS Lurch and we have seen his past record which sucks. We are DOOMED!

To anyone on the Left, the problem isn´t the spread of Islamism and Islamist terror, the problem is American influence. The Leftist posing as commander in chief knows exactly what he´s doing. Anti-Americanism is always the Left´s #1 priority, always at the top of their agenda, their non-negotiable red line in the sand. The Leftist posing as commander in chief is simply doing what he was elected to do - weaken and cripple the USA. And he is far, far from incompetent at this.

"...the president offered this advice to Americans:

´Families should assemble a disaster supplies kit well in advance and have a plan to reconnect after a tragedy...´ ".

The word incompetent doesn´t even cover it.

One thing for sure, those jihadists won´t attack the WH, since Barry & his whole administration is in on the planning and helping them out every which way they can.

This awful feeling of dread we are experiencing is a direct result of knowing that the Obama administration is incompetent and totally incapable of dealing with a real terror threat like ISIS. Political optics is the driving force in any decision or plan they put forth. It is their primary concern. We all know it. It is how they operate. Point in case: the open invitation to any bad guy to come on in via our southern border. Any reasonable person would make a secure border a high priority but Obama is more concerned with the political gains he will achieve if it is left open. This is a heinous policy that only a psychopath could embrace and is a gift to terrorists who want to recreate another 9/11. God help us. Something evil comes this way and we all know it.

Speaking of incompetence how about the recent video of Boehner playing with that wind up monkey on his desk???? Boehner get in front of a Bully Pulpit and tell the American people about how Obama-care is not working, ask where is our savings of $2,500 a yr.on Obama-care is, also tell how Dr. Ezekiel Emanuels Death Panel is kicking in this year on Medicare. and ask where are these illegal aliens who invaded our country? There is so much to say you can slam this Regime and his lapdog Democraps instead of playing with a toy.

If we do not take him at his word when he said that he will "side with the Muslims should the tide of war turn ugly", we will be postulating what his problem is from now until the day our power grids and communications and ability to buy food come down.

He told us what he is after when he bowed to Muslim heads of State.
He told us when he talked about redistributing wealth.
He told us when he said he would ignore the Constitution and use his "pen and phone".
He told us who he was when he played golf and yukked it up ten minutes after feigning sorrow over the beheading.
He told us when he destroyed our health care system.
He told us when he said he would destroy the coal industry.
He told us when he said, "My Muslim faith..."
He told us when he drew red lines he refused to act upon.
He told us when he deliberately reduced the American labor force by millions of jobs.
He told us who he was when he reached the 50% mark of Americans on welfare.
He told us that we "couldn´t keep our thermostats set to 72.

How many warnings did the Left need to realize this man is a clear and present danger to America?

He told us, he told us, he told us....

And what did the Left do? They didn´t believe his policies would be so devastating so they chose diversity over sensibility.

The Left, from the media, to the university, to the halls of Congress, to the street -- they are to blame, because the Right was right.

We warned everyone. Only the Left ignored the warnings and only the Left will be blamed.

The Democrats would embrace a crisis like this. They always believed they were cheated from appearing heroic after September 11; that Bush stole their moment. Bammy is going to reclaim this even if he has to manufacture it himself.

The best thing a saboteur can do, when he is in a position of power, is refuse to act against the aggression of his secret allies, thus dooming the nation he has infiltrated.

Unless someone does something soon, night is falling on the West and America.

Advice from Mr. Obama: get a disaster supplies kit..

#9 is right to point out that such advice goes well beyond simple ineptness. It suggests an expectation..we are to get our kits while we wait for a disaster to happen.

Is this what Mr. Obama had in mind when he took an oath to "preserve, protect, and defend" our nation?

Obama Is Not The President

Haven´t you figured this out, yet? There´s a cabal running our Nation, not a President. Obama is window dressing. The first truly image-created figure to occupy the White House. He was sought out as the ultimate Chauncy Gardner. Obama is the not even as good as Hal Ashby´s movie ´Being There´ because he´s not there ..

Quit berating Obama. He´s not the President.

Wait and see, everyone. When the poop does hit the fan, and a major terrorist attack does massacre Americans (and it IS coming), the media machine will play along with the King and find a way to blame CONSERVATIVES for the whole thing. You see, the King is unable to protect us because the evil Tea Partiers and Republicans have hobbled him, bless his heart.

0bama has said the USA can absorb another terrorist attack. His indifference screams volumes. When that attack occurs he will use it as an excuse to militarize our police forces so that they "Are a civilian security force as large and as strong as our military". Remember, 0bama has done exactly everything he said he was going to do.

Interesting posts, most. This has been argued and debated to the point of ridiculousness and it really doesn´t matter now because the damage was done long ago.

Here´s the thing; stinky isn´t that smart. He´s the cute little monkey in a red vest holding out the tin cup while the fat smart guy grinding the organ collects the dough. And that´s it. That´s it.

stinky isn´t your enemy. he couldn´t care less about any of this. he´s so sick with self-love he´ll say or do anything to keep his narcissistic love boat floating, but he doesn´t mean anything by it. he´s just a cute little monkey doing the bidding of the rich fat slob jerking the chain.

If ever the "look a squirrel" bit was true, it´s true with stinky. he´s the face of the monster, yes -- but he´s not the monster.

Obama doesn´t want to do anything about ISIS, isn´t going to do anything about ISIS and told that to ISIS with his "I have no strategy" comment. So will ISIS divert their attention from Iraq and Syria, turn it to terrorizing the US and force Obama to act against them? I don´t think so, they have two years of terrorizing and conquest guaranteed free of US opposition if they stay cool.

Of course there are other Islamist factions in the ME who don´t really want to see ISIS succeed because they want to be the ones who establish a caliphate (e.g. Iran and Syria). For them a terrorist attack in the US in the guise of ISIS to get the US involved in stopping ISIS would be a good idea. So we´re not out of the woods but I don´t think it´s ISIS we need to fear.

This is not incompetence. It is all by design. Its not just Obama and the Democrats. Just how different would the Republicans be? Who stays in the shadows and drives all of this? How much of the influence is foreign? How much of that influence is by people that are secretly at war with the United States?

Saw part of Obama´s labor day speech. Has any other president used such a hateful tone while talking? One lie after another too. We have another president claiming to have turned the economy around.

Have to wonder if we are witnessing the decline and collapse of this country. Too many people remain ignorant. Too many people are covering for the Obama gang.

Heard Diane Fienstein calling Obama´s foreign policy approach as ´cautious´, and wondered if she was covering for him. She knows better, but decides to prop him up.

Please forget Obama for a second. He´s not the problem. He´s the result, the symptom of a much bigger problem. It is us. The citizens of the United States are the problem. We elect our leaders and they are but a reflection of who and what we; how and what we think, nothing more.

Because of our willful worship of ourselves with disregard to anything bigger than ourselves, these ISIS bullies will easily kidnap one of your daughters or your wife or your young son (I suspect it will be someone rather well known and most likely a believer in Christ) from a mall, from a vacation spot somewhere in the world, from a hiking trail, pick one, and the next thing they´ll awake to is an orange suit on their knees in the desert being videotaped and saying things that are way out of character just before they are beheaded.

Your leaders will again do absolutely nothing. Ted Cruz will give a speech, Obama will send regrets to the family and hit the links. And of course cricket sounds will come the Muslim communities here in the United States and the rest of the "moderate" Muslim world.

After a few days, the nation will pine over another Robin Williams event and the naked idiot who stole porn pictures of some idiotic Hollywood ditz or some other such waste of time pop culture nonsense.

Obama is not the incompetent one. The voters are.

Next caller please.

Istanbul -- The latest ISIS advance in Syria has brought a swath of the country´s north-central Kurdish region under siege, with Kurdish leaders warning of another humanitarian crisis without international intervention. So much for all that outrage. Nearly 90 percent of Americans say the recent outcry about domestic violence in the NFL hasn’t changed how much professional football they watch — and less than a third of the nation believes NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell should resign. DENVER — Republican Rep. Cory Gardner is leading Democratic Sen Mark Udall in Colorado, according to a new independent poll released Thursday. The 48-40 Gardner lead among likely voters in The Quinnipiac University Poll contrasts with two other independent polls released earlier this month that found Udall tied or slightly ahead in the race. It is from the same pollster that found Democratic Gov. One has to wonder just how often members of President Barack Obama´s national security team talk with each other. The federal government is famously gigantic, but the president´s Cabinet is not, particularly if you narrow it to the inner circle that crafts military and national security strategy. One would assume that it wouldn´t be all that difficult to prepare a coherent approach to an international crisis, particularly as Cabinet members testify before Congress amidst deep skepticism of the White House´s strategy to destroy the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS, or in the administration´s preferred acronym, ISIL). In Colorado, the state where Barack Obama was first nominated for the White House, he has emerged as a drag on the re-election prospects of Democratic Sen. Mark Udall and Gov. John Hickenlooper, a USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll finds. The survey shows Udall at 42%, Republican challenger Cory Gardner at 43% in what is essentially a tie. The poll of 500 likely voters, taken Saturday through Tuesday, has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percentage points. The governor´s race also is too close to call: Hickenlooper is at 43%, Republican challenger Bob Beauprez at 41%. The 2008 Democratic

Whenever Barack Obama seems in danger of falling, do we have to hear that George W. Bush made the cliff? It happened with the economy. For the president’s staunchest defenders, legitimate questions about whether the stimulus was wisely crafted and whether Obamacare was rushed took a back seat to lamentations over the damage that his predecessor had done. Obama wasn’t perfect, but at least he wasn’t Bush. (Snip) Enough. It’s true that Obama hasn’t replicated Bush’s offenses, and it’s consoling. But it isn’t exactly reason for a parade, and it doesn’t inoculate him. The culpability that lies elsewhere doesn’t relieve

WASHINGTON — Just miles (kilometers) from where former Guantanamo Bay terror suspects have resettled, American warplanes take off from Qatar´s al-Udeid air base in the global war on extremism. The contrast in images illustrates why tiny but rich Qatar is an intriguing player in what President Barack Obama says will be a long battle to stop and eventually destroy the Islamic State group in Iraq and Syria. Qatar plays an outsize role as a U.S. military partner. It gained public praise from Obama for brokering the controversial deal that freed Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl from Taliban captivity in May in

Nearly 70 percent of Americans say they lack confidence that the U.S. will achieve its goals in fighting the terrorist group ISIS, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Annenberg poll. The findings come in the wake of President Barack Obama’s national address announcing new measures to combat the Sunni militants. Pressure is mounting on the U.S. and its allies to cripple the militants, who have waged a brutal campaign across Syria and Iraq. ISIS already has beheaded two American journalists and on Saturday released a video showing the execution of a third Westerner, British aid worker David Haines. The

When it comes to politics, Costco Wholesale has a well-deserved reputation as a Democratic-leaning corporation. Company co-founders Jim Sinegal and Jeffrey Brotman have hosted President Obama at fundraisers in their lakefront mansions. Costco executives have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Democratic candidates and causes over the past decade. But in the key battle for control of the state Senate this year, top Costco brass — miffed at Democrats over a liquor-fee dispute — have essentially switched sides, backing the Republican Party’s efforts to maintain and expand its majority coalition. Employees and executives of the Issaquah-based retailer have donated

First Lady Michelle Obama proudly defended her husband’s record at a Washington, D.C. fundraiser, reminding the attendants how far the country had come since the Obamas entered the White House. “Just think about how different our country looks to children growing up today,” she said. “Think about how our kids take for granted that a black person or a woman can be President of the United States.” She also praised President Obama for changing history on gay marriage and the Supreme Court. “They take it for granted that for the first time in history, there are three brilliant women serving

After declaring war on the Tea Party and often showing nothing but contempt for grassroots conservatives that powered Republicans to record gains in the 2010 midterm elections, Karl Rove whined that the GOP may not take back the Senate this year because of the lack of enthusiasm for his establishment-approved candidates. Writing in the Wall Street Journal, Rove notes that even though Obama´s "job approval numbers are lousy, no Democrat in a competitive Senate race polls regularly above 50%, GOP enthusiasm is high, and independents are trending Republican... each passing day provides evidence as to why a GOP Senate majority is

Devastating. That´s really the only way to describe Politico´s piece on DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. (I hereby nominate her for Worst Week in Washington.) (Editor´s note: Three words -- Joseph. Robinette. Biden.) Based on interviews with DNC staffers -- both former and current -- the piece described Wasserman Schultz as something of a modern-day Tracy Flick: over-eager, disloyal and not shy about promoting her ambitions. It would be fair to say that she sounds like, well, a lot like other politicians. And this would be accurate. But the wholesale bashing of Wasserman Schultz at every level of the party -- White House,

WASHINGTON — Kurdish fighters battling ISIS desperately want more guns and armor, but they already have a secret weapon: The fanatics they’re fighting fear that if they get killed in combat by a woman, they won’t go to heaven. “They have many female battalions, as you know who fought very bravely,” Rep. Ed Royce (R-Calif.), who chairs the House International Relations Committee, told The Post of the Kurds. Royce, who met this week with the foreign minister of Kurdistan, cited recent reports of young female Kurdish troops “laughing” at ISIS forces they had turned back. “These ISIL soldiers apparently believed that if

Flashes of disagreement over how to fight the Islamic State are mounting between President Obama and U.S. military leaders, the latest sign of strain in what often has been an awkward and uneasy relationship. Even as the administration has received congressional backing for its strategy, with the Senate voting Thursday to approve a plan to arm and train Syrian rebels, a series of military leaders have criticized the president’s approach against the Islamic State militant group. Retired Marine Gen. James Mattis, who served under Obama until last year, became the latest high-profile skeptic on Thursday, telling the House Intelligence Committee

The man who was the top Marine general from 2006 until his retirement in 2010 says President Barack Obama’s strategy to defeat the terrorist group the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria is doomed to fail. “I don’t think the president’s plan has a snowball’s chance in hell of succeeding,” retired Marine General James Conway, who served as the 34th Commandant of the Marine Corps during the end of the Bush administration and the beginning of the Obama administration, said at the Maverick PAC Conference in Washington, D.C. Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, one of the masterminds behind Obamacare, has now explained that he wishes to die at age 75. In an article in The Atlantic, Emanuel writes, “Seventy-five. That’s how long I want to live: 75 years.” He explains that his daughters disagree; so do his brothers and his friends. But, he says, “I am sure of my position…here is a simple truth that many of us seem to resist: living too long is also a loss. It renders many of us, if not disabled, then faltering and declining, a state that may not be worse than death but

Congress is living in an "evidence-free zone" as it debates issues of equal pay and family-friendly work policies, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Thursday. "Unfortunately, reality is not always the context in which these decisions are made. The Congress increasingly -- despite the best efforts of my friends and others -- is living in an evidence-free zone," she said during a roundtable discussion at the Center for American Progress focused on women´s issues. "What the reality is, in the lives of Americans is so far from the minds of too many who don´t place the highest priority" on

That rare respiratory illness sickening children around the country continues to crop up in new places. It has been confirmed in 22 states, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Friday, appearing in three states where it had not been previously: Georgia, Michigan and Washington state. These children are facing an uncommon enterovirus strain. While enteroviruses in general are quite common, this particular strain — enterovirus 68 — has not cropped up terribly often since it was first identified in 1962. It can cause severe breathing problems, a particular danger for children who may suffer from asthma or other

The U.S Senate passed a bill Thursday evening that will give President Barack Obama the authority to arm moderate Syrian rebels, which is a key part of his plan to fight the jihadist group Islamic State (also known as ISIS and ISIL). Shortly after the Senate passed the bill, which was passed by the House on Wednesday, Obama spoke from the White House. "I´m pleased that Congress, a majority of Democrats and a majority of Republicans in both the House and Senate, have now voted to support a key element of our strategy," Obama said. Washington - The Secret Service is coming under intense scrutiny after a man who hopped the White House fence made it all the way through the front door before being apprehended. President Barack Obama and his daughters had just departed the White House on Friday evening when an intruder scaled the north fence, darted across the lawn and into the presidential residence, where agents nabbed him. The security breach triggered a rare evacuation of much of the White House, with Secret Service officers drawing their guns as they rushed staffers and journalists out a side door.

On Thursday In a session with the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Secretary of State John Kerry was asked by Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) whether America was at war in Iraq and Syria. (Video) Kerry responded: “If you’re more comfortable calling it a war against this enemy of Islam then please do so. We’re happy to call it that.” So its official: America is at war with the enemy of Islam. However, strange bedfellows arise if the Obama administration so chooses to uphold Kerry’s claim that we are at war with the enemy(s) of Islam. The following displays that Secretary
