Barack Obama refuses to

Telegraph [UK], by Janet Daley

Just in case you thought that the Leader of the Free World was secretly harbouring a calculated, well-developed plan for bringing Isil under control and putting Russia’s imperial leader back in his box, Barack Obama banged that idea firmly on the head last week. [Snip] In the president’s exact words: “We don’t have a strategy yet.” When that bizarre statement hit the news outlets, the White House spin team flew into full-on operation (ie panic) mode and began tweeting to the effect that what the Commander-in-Chief had actually meant was that there was “a range of options” which were still

Comments:
Ms. Daley states firmly that the hallmark of Obama´s presidency is he "refuses to decide and fails to act". Nice motto to have affixed to your family coat of arms.

As always, Ms. Daley has collected together all the bits scattered about and made them into a stunning patchwork, this time of billowing danger and imminent threat. For instance, contrary to what many people might believe, Obama has yet to even suggest the UK help form a coalition.

I think you´ll like Ms. Daley´s description of Obama´s words as "pious obstruction." I hope this is considered a must read.

In the game of life Barry votes PRESENT and expects pixie dust to take care of the rest, just like it did during his Choom Gang days.

Janet Daley is not just another "pundit." She has been in the forefront of the detailed and factual criticism of the Obammunist from the first article she ever wrote. She is always very well informed and always crystallizes situations into clarity.

We ignore her at our peril.

Well done!

But...

This story doesn´t square with the Must Read "Latest Big Lie:‘We Have No Strategy’" from this morning.

Nor does it square with the CNN breaking L.Com story that American forces have bombed ISIS targets to retake Amerli, along with other allies.

What is really going on?

Either Obama is a cunning Manchurian Candidate who, along with Valerie Jarrett, is turning over America to Iran behind everyone´s back, or he is truly a dithering, blithering coward.

The only country with the military capability to deal with this crisis (as the president boasted) was the US but its intervention would be conditional on the participation of a “coalition of the willing”. For what? Moral cover? Shared political responsibility if it all went horribly wrong?

That is a no-brainer, given Obama´s utter refusal to make solo decisions, even with consultation with experts. Ultimately, decisions are his and he will not make them because they could fail. That is why he is still voting "present".

How Mr Putin, and the terrorists in the Middle East, must be enjoying all this.

You don´t have to go that far away to find people enjoying this. American liberals are rubbing their sweaty pacifist hands together even more enthusiastically than when Obamacare passed. They are very much enjoying how his pen and his phone became his surgical tools to disembowel America.

McCarthy was right.

There was a lot of pious obscurity but one thing was clear enough: America will do nothing alone. This would have to be a team effort in which the US would be just one player. So, instead of providing unequivocal leadership, the American presidency offered scarcely veiled threats.

Foley´s murder was an attack on the USA and Obama is asking others to help us deal with the murderers? This doesn´t make a lick of sense. We need to defend ourselves against the murderers(ISIS)and destroy them.

Mr. Potato Head and his marionette string puller Valerie Jarrett aren´t exactly doing anything that would help the civilized world, being manifestly uncivil people themselves devoted to bringing America down a few notches, down to the level of, say, Greek exceptionalism. And we all know how exceptional Greece is. If there were any justice in this world, Mr. Potato Head would die in prison for treason on a level never before seen, or even imagined. Whoever voted for him should quit voting in abject shame.

The one thread that runs through the ill-documented life of Barack Obama is laziness. So that is my thought as well, he´s too lazy to make a decision and act on it. That takes work, gathering information, talking to people, sorting through conflicting opinions. That´s too much like work for Obama. He´d rather go golf or take a vaction.

David Cameron: he said everything

Uncharacteristically, I´m almost lost for words--or at least for critical words. David Cameron said pretty much everything I wanted him to say in his belter of a conference speech. [Snip] What this amounted to in effect was a picture of a social morality based on rewards for hard work, personal responsibility, pride in your achievements, and true fairness (which is to say, getting "something for something" rather than something for nothing). And, most important, the idea that permitting people to live in permanent dependency was not just a waste of money, but a waste of life.

Pentagon officials are finding it difficult determining how effective US airstrikes against ISIS in Iraq and Syria are because of ´significant gaps in intelligence´. Senior current and former US officials have told the Associated Press that American aircraft are running under less restrictive rules than those governing drone strikes in Pakistan and Yemen. Despite this, they are having difficulties determining the effectiveness of the bombing missions targeting Al-Qaeda and ISIS due the lack of intelligence assets on the ground. These assets identify targets before an airstrike and conduct an after action battle damage assessment.

David Cameron today put two major tax cuts at the heart of his bid for re-election, promising to dramatically raise both the amount workers earn before paying income tax and before being dragged into the higher 40p rate. Mr Cameron declared ´I love this country´ as he pleaded for another five years in Downing Street to ´finish the job´ of turning the country around.
