Rotherham’s — and England’s — Shame
National Review, by John O´Sullivan

We often read or hear from the media that a nation is “shocked” or “horrified” by the revelation of some crime or government scandal. It is almost never true. (Snip) Since Tuesday afternoon, however, Britain has felt real shock and horror over the report that 1,400 young women in the South Yorkshire town of Rotherham had been groomed, raped, prostituted, trafficked, and brutally abused in almost every possible way by a criminal gang for the last 16 years. In addition, the authorities — which in this case are the local government authority, the police, and the child-protection services

Comments:
Will this at last make people take a look at political correctness? It is so ingrained, even more in Britain than here, that it may not.

For all of human history until about 1975 the fathers and brothers of these victims would have taken action. Today the fathers are gone, the brothers are stoned or are homos and everyone knows you cannot actually do anything to protect your family other than write a polite letter to your local oligarch.

"Most people in the Muslim community were unaware of this criminal conspiracy (and, shocked and horrified like everyone else, they now condemn it)."

BS! Something like that does not go on for 16 years in a closed community and people not know about it. Nothing was said because they didn´t care. Infidel girls count for nothing.

Blair´s Labour government imported and coddled these savages in the Leftist/ Islamist Union to " change the face of Britain."
Cries of Racism - false racism - were their "gets out of Jail Free Card."
Fact many own Taxis and Takeaway shops show how protected they were by the Local Council and Police.
These young women should sue the government for failure to protect them from these savages.
In Australia , there was a similar group who raped young white girls in Sydney.
Finally, the police put these " good young men"/s in prison.
UK needs to round them up and jail them for life - get them out of circulation and the gene pool.
One of the Minnesotans killed fighting for iSIS had 9 children - all on the dole- all jihadis in waiting.
They must be stopped - no time for PC.

Less well publicized is that, in Sweden, 100% of all rapes are perpetrated by Muslim men.
Well over 80% of the victims are ethnic Swedes.

How do you spell misogynist? "I S L A M" AKA the "religion of peace". Where cowardly men who have no real stones can and do treat women like a rented mule.

Yeah, it takes "real man" to capture women and rape them. You people in the West just don´t understand; Allah thinks it´s cool, what´s wrong with you Western infidels anyway.

Even with all that is known of the horrific Labour policies that have allowed millions of Muslims to pour into England, I can assure you they are STILL pouring into England. Cameron´s government has not done much except talk - and very very carefully. The average citizen, whether in village or urban areas is terribly cowed by political correctness and FEAR. The influence of these invaders to turn London into the Islamic Capitol of Europe scoots along, folks.

From the window of his Paris home, Michel Ciardi can see into the waiting room of a government welfare agency where a predominantly Arab and African crowd awaits government checks. A former communist, Ciardi once believed the scene at the agency was a necessary element of French efforts to help integrate new immigrants. But that changed in 2000 after the second Palestinian intifada triggered a massive increase in anti-Semitic violence, much of it committed by Arab and African immigrants. The violence was enough to shift his political allegiance to the National Front, a far-right party long demonized by

Watching the parade of the naïve, the far left, and their energy-hogging celebrity manipulators marching in New York City this week, I was struck by how much these true believers had in common with jihadis, a notion reinforced by Perdue Professor Louis Rene Beres’ description of jihadis in Gatestone Institute and my friend “Ignatz´s’" comment at Just One Minute. Both movements seem to these authors to be a means of denying death and change and making the mortal, immortal and the insignificant individual life, a significant force when massed with others. If this is true -- and I think it is --

The proportion of Americans who perceive the Obama administration as “unfriendly” to religion has jumped

Yet Ernest Hemingway worked for Stalin’s KGB and nobody (among the “smart set”) seems to bat an eye. According to KGB defector Alexander Vassiliev "the 42-year-old Hemingway was recruited by the KGB under the cover name "Argo" in 1941, and cooperated with Soviet agents whom he met in Havana and London. Attorney General Eric Holder, the first attorney general in history to be held in contempt by the House of Representatives, surprised the political world today when he announced he would be resigning, effective on the confirmation of his successor. Holder will leave a troubled legacy and many unanswered questions as John Fund and I discovered when we were researching our new book, “Obama’s Enforcer: Eric Holder’s Justice Department.” The Justice Department veterans we talked to said that Holder has politicized the Department to an unprecedented degree, which should concern everyone who cares about the rule of law.

Not this time. The U.S.-led air campaign against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria doesn´t have a name. "I know of no plans at this point to name it," Pentagon spokesman Rear Adm. John Kirby said Thursday. Since World War II, almost every U.S. military operation, large and small, has had a code name. Political pollsters have a tough job. They have to create formulas to determine if the person they are interviewing is likely to vote, and it is within this calculation that their reputations are made. Typically, those who are likely to vote in an off-year election are pretty set. They are the people who always vote in elections — with some motivated by specific issues. In a wave election, the number of those motivated by specific issues escalates, changing the electoral landscape as the candidates who are beneficiaries of this increased participation sweep to victory. The 2014 election is rapidly looking like something new
