Homeland Security Sec.: We’re Unaware
of ‘Credible Threat’ to U.S. from ISIS

Mediaite, by Josh Feldman

Original Article

Earlier today, the British government raised its terror threat level to “severe,” suggesting a very likely terrorist attack by ISIS on British soil. In response, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson issued a statement saying the government is unaware of any “credible threat” on U.S. soil from ISIS. Johnson says, “At present, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the FBI are unaware of any specific, credible threat to the U.S. homeland from ISIL.” He does go on to acknowledge that they have the “intent and capability to target American citizens overseas,” and naturally they’re still “an active and serious threat within

Comments:
Can you even believe this??? The Judicial Watch warning stated: Agents across a number of Homeland Security, Justice and Defense agencies have all been placed on alert and instructed to aggressively work all possible leads and sources concerning this imminent terrorist threat." Talk about gross and utter malfeasance from Johnson!! These people are completely insane in the way they are behaving. It is absolutely stunning.

Obama and Kerry should be dragged through the streets!

I question the utility, at this point, of the DHS. Perhaps we should just return authority like it used to be, albeit with better communications among FBI, CIA, ICE, etc.

Unaware
being the key word.

Unconcerned
because they at least have military protection and the surveillance data
unspun,
unsanitized.

Credible
the next word and meaning it has already happened and can´t be covered up as not a terrorist deed.
Incredible?

Threat?
No threat to some if it produces a desired end result and world wide chaos in an economic revolution.
No threat to the democrats/liberals and Kristen Powers types who will call it good foreign policy from a genius even with an American city in ashes.

No threat to a new generation of school kids and College adult aged kids who say, "So what´s so wrong with socialism?"

Threat? "So what´s so great about America?"
The dragon slept too long? Nothing to do but gripe? And wait for the "conservatives, not to raise voice to pull the party rightward, but to saw it off at the knees if they can´t win the heats and the minds of the majority.

The greatest threat to our former country being righted is the failure of the GOP to cooperate and move forward with the numbers and positive passion to win IMO.

In early June 1964, a group of Republican governors sought to wrestle control of their party from Barry Goldwater, the Arizona conservative who was about to lead the GOP to one of the most crushing defeats in its history. Qua speech, Barack Obama’s address Wednesday on the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria was surprisingly terrible: a disorganized mess, insincere and unconvincing. To appreciate just how bad and bizarre it was, compare the president’s speech announcing a new air campaign in Iraq and Syria to Dwight Eisenhower’s 1958 statement on his decision to intervene in Lebanon with 14,000—14,000!—troops. The statement contains no chest-thumping about America’s leadership in science and medicine. No pivot to the auto industry and medical research.
