Obama interrupting weekend
trip to return to DC

Associated Press, by Darlene Superville

Posted By:jackson, 8/29/2014 1:43:42 PM

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama is interrupting a weekend trip to return to the White House. White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Obama changed his plans for Friday and will return to Washington late in the evening after fundraisers in New York and Rhode Island, instead of overnighting in New York as originally planned. Earnest said Obama himself made the decision to return to the White House and that it was unrelated to any current events. "He can sleep in his own bed, do a little work tomorrow, spend some time with his family" before traveling back to Westchester

"I will not rest until blah, blah, blah...." This is getting unfunny even.

His return is "unrelated to any current events" ??
So why is he wasting my tax dollars flying back and forth? On a whim? Because he can??

Something doesn´t smell right about this story. I imagine the TFR will still be in effect since he will be heading back to Westchester on Saturday. Air travelers (big donors) are not going to see any advantage from his trip back to DC. In fact, it may cause them more trouble. In addition, I think the President makes decisions based on what is best for him and his convenience. There is more to this story than we are being told.

Then, shortly before her departure, she got caught in a spectacular fight on live TV with conservative co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck that started over the Iraq War, but quickly turned personal — and went viral.
