´We don´t have a strategy yet´: Obama
stuns Washington by admitting he
is clueless about tackling ISIS

Daily Mail [UK], by David Martosko

Original Article

Posted By:Attercliffe, 8/29/2014 4:25:33 AM

President Barack Obama said during a Thursday press conference that his administration doesn´t have a plan worked out yet for defeating the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) in Syria. [Snip] ´What I´ve seen in some of the news reports suggests that folks are getting a little further ahead of where we´re at than we currently are,´ Obama cautioned. He mentioned four times his intention to seek advice from Capitol Hill before deploying more military assets in the Middle East, likely in response to concerns from members of the House and Senate that he was unconstitutionally freezing them out.

Comments:
He says, "folks are getting a little further ahead of where we´re at than we currently are."

Has he gotten rid of all the officers we had who knew what to do in a given situation? That´s rhetorical, of course--he MUST have, otherwise he wouldn´t be where he is or where he thinks he is, or where he thinks we currently believe he is and we would know where we are and wait for him to catch up or go drag him forward. Or something. /s

The Pentagon has plans galore...

Barry is simply combining his chosen cluelessness with his personal preference for voting present.
Just like with Foley´s murder, Barry will be a day late and a dollar short... a mere spectator to history.

No strategy, no clue. None of the military will volunteer any solutions for anything for this loser either. Washington is not stunned, they are just waiting him out. All bad things come to an end sooner or later.

We CAN be surprised that he told the truth.

There haven´t been any strategists in DC for years, military or civilian. The only people left are overblown project managers, whose only goal is to get more money from the public coffers.

He was a hollow suit back when. He is a hollow suit currently, and will continue to be a hollow suit, tan as it may be! He is a liar, he is not smart, and he is a loser. He was sold to us as the smartest ever, and was supposed to be a "messiah"! Were those who voted for this POS ever taken to the cleaners? Problem is, we all pay the consequences, and just may never recover from this debacle, called Obama!

There is only one strategy Lightbringer could adopt if he were actually serious about defeating Islamist terror:

1. Fire Joe Biden and replace him with Dick Cheney.
2. Resign.

Opie appeared yesterday in his new fashionista suit it didn´t impress me one bit and I´m sure many others feel the same way. Save the suit for your TWO fundraisers today in NY & RI. Opie said that we shouldn´t put the cart before the JACKASS, what does that mean? Get bombed first ask questions later! Then he proceeds to say we have no strategy? Nothing like telling our enemies that you are a stupid man. Lie Opie! You are good at it. Here are some of you fibs... "You can keep your doctors & your insurance" I can´t go beyond the Constitution about given illegals amnesty and you can save $2,500 a year on healthcare there are plenty more. You lie to us why not lie to your enemies?.

Exactly, OP, and it certainly was deliberate. Paring down our military in personnel and weaponry means only one thing: He doesn´t want them used. How else to interpret that? That he wants to be thrifty?

A POTUS with America´s best interests at heart (if he´s got one) doesn´t decimate our fighting forces.

Obama´s actions are one of two things, by design or utter incompetence. Either way, this country is a sitting duck for seventh century barbarians who have contributed nothing to this world but unending brutality and violence. They are determined to force the west to submit to their false religion or die. Good and evil could not be more clearly defined and yet, Obama and the progressive libs can´t seem to make a distinction. Until that happens, the utter inhumanity of these barbarians will never be stopped. If you can´t define evil when it is staring you in the face, you are already defeated.

The DC commies are checking off their list: retreat from Iraq; reduce US military(sequester); open south US border; enable pro Caliphate military force; stall. The only questions that remain are how Isis will make it to the North American continent in mass and where their military equipment will come from but sure they have a plans. Hint: Isis now knows how to use/operate military hardware and obama has been giving police depts old military equipment, arming South/Central American gangs(fast and furious).

Going from his past behavior, this is obama´s thinking: The entire world, including America, is so stupid compared to me that if I say that I have no strategy, but I secretly do, I will really surprise them when I pull the strategy out and use it. They will be so impressed that the terrorists will all drop their weapons in fear and the voters in America will vote all of the democrats back into office because they are so happy with the job I have done. Then it will be two more years of uninterrupted golf. Yeah, that´s it.

Obama has two major issues that he swore to rectify.

1. This country was founded by white men from Western Europe. They created a Capitalist Constitutional system that enriched whites and allowed for slavery. Therefore the Constitution needs to be either ignored, rewritten or abandoned. He chooses to ignore. In addition, the wealth accumulated by the privileged must be redistributed.

2. This country´s wealth was built by subjecting the rest of the world to our hegemony via our enormously funded military. He needs to weaken our military to secure justice for the rest of the world. His people.

Throw in a smidgen of Muslim upbringing and Communist mentoring and you have a pretty clear picture of Obama.

Therefore war, any war, in the name of our empire, is out. That is unless the war comes to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

When you are busy playing golf 24/7 you just don´t have the time to convene a meeting with the few left over generals that he has in the military. No strategy IS his strategy, exactly the message he meant to deliver. He imparts information to our enemies every time he makes a speech, buying time for them to kidnap and murder thousands overseas and mobilize to blow up malls, schools, hospitals, buses, trains -- the possibilities are endless -- here at home. When the person behind you in line at WalMart turns out to be wearing a vest that goes boom, you know who to thank.

Why in the hell would an American president -- the leader of the free world (or used to be!) -- essentially tell people who want to slaughter us in droves that we Americans HAVE NO PLAN to deal with them?

If you don´t have a plan -- God forbid we don´t have a plan! -- you don´t tell your would-be killers that. At least leave them guessing!

Obama just green-lighted attacks on Americans at home and abroad by terrorists of all flavors including, but not limited to, ISIS.

ISIS -- who behead and otherwise slaughter "infidels" for sport.

Damn that POTUS!

I worry that the nation will not survive 28 more months of these traitors in the WH.

Despite out of hand dismissal by the GOPe, we must impeach. Even cutting off funds won´t work at this point. In addition to cries about a government shutdown, NerØbama would simply redirect funds (whether legal or not) and have the Federal Reserve "create" more money via any slight of hand they can concoct.

Now the GOPe wring their hands about losing the Senate retake in NOvember. On NOvember 5th, the GOPe will be crying about losing their chances in 2016.

Nothing will change - except for the continued dismemberment of the Constitution.

Baloney. Impeach - now.

Shocking statement. Is he inviting an attack?

In the news a few days ago was a report that Obama thought the US overreacted to 9/11.

What is he thinking? He is resisting military action as much as possible. He does not understand that our military actions in Iraq and Afghanistan were a success. It was the nation building actions that failed.

Obama has tried to work diplomatically with such groups as AQ, MB, the Taliban, Hamas, and others. Is he now going to try and negotiate with ISIS? He refuses to acknowledge that he is negotiating with people who are at war with us. He refuses to recognize them as enemies. When he does that, he betrays our allies.

Obama does not support our military. Probably due to his leftist and Muslim upbringing that have been on the receiving end of our military in the past.

Given the fact that we, the free world, are now facing a growing group of 7th century barbarians that don´t even know what civilization is, I just wonder if that time is approaching. There was also talk about hurricanes, volcano eruptions, earthquakes, and a lot of other really bad things happening. Or maybe it´s just a passing thing in the evolution of mankind.

Maybe, just maybe, Obama & Co. do have a strategy think about this: All the news media seem the call this new terror group in Iraq IS or Islamic State, some call it ISIS or Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. But, Obama and his State Dept. puppets always calls it ISIL. Why, and what is the “L”? Well here is the “L”:

The Levant (/l?´vænt/), also known as the Eastern Mediterranean, is a geographic and cultural region consisting of the "eastern Mediterranean littoral betweenAnatolia and Egypt".[2] The Levant today consists of the island of Cyprus, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, and part of southern Turkey (the former Aleppo Vilayet).

Isn’t it strange that only OBAMA is ceding all these countries, including Israel, to IS or ISIS and no one is questioning this. Not the MSM or Fox or even talk radio. I don’t even think I’ve seen reference to the terror group use it. Funny how he can be so far ahead on this and everything else he knows nothing about until he reads it in the paper. Perhaps he´s dealing with IS, ISIS or ISIL just way it was planned.

Those of us on these LDotter threads know who and what Obama is. We know what his wishes are for the U.S. Plus, we have a pretty good idea of why he does what he does. It´s no secret what his political ideologies consist of. As someone above already stated, he doesn´t want to offend his Muslim brothers, and his actions bear that out. I firmly believe that the destruction of our country is on top of his private wish list. What I´d like to know is how do we get out of this situation? Are we on a high speed train that has lost its brakes? What is the survival plan for the rest of us, since this guy appears to be glued to his position in this country?

I cannot believe smart people here at LDot still don´t understand what´s going on. ISIS murdering, terrorizing and doing what it is doing is the strategy. I really can´t believe none of you have figured that out. It´s so easy to see, so much evidence points directly to it. All this excrutiating by conservative media over so called dithering, detachment, cluelessness, etc on Obama´s part. It is EXACTLY what he wants you to think because that is his diversion; he knows you think that a US president couldn´t possibly arm, train and support a terrorist group like ISIS. As long as you continue to fail to see he is behind it, he´s in tall cotton. The man and his Jarrett´s are doing this on purpose. THEY WANT ISIS TO DO EXACTLY WHAT IT IS DOING.

´Israel´s Most Bitter

The harsh criticism flung by US President Barack Obama´s administration against Israel this week for a building project in Jerusalem is only a sign of things to come, according to Attorney Yoram Sheftel. [Snip] Writing in his weekly Hebrew column for Arutz Sheva, Sheftel wrote "Obama doesn´t want a nuclear Iran, but he wants an Iran that can enrich uranium and threaten Israel--it´s one of the most hostile regimes for Israel that wants Iran to threaten us, because today we have no more bitter enemy in the western world than the United States." Jeremy Clarkson has told how he and his Top Gear team were forced to flee Argentina under police escort as furious thugs tried to ´kill´ them. Rock-throwing protesters vowed to ´barbecue´ the controversial motoring show host after a row over the star´s number plate boiled over. Trouble erupted after a photo of Clarkson, 54, driving a Porsche with the number plate H982 FKL, circulated online, enraging Falklands War veterans who claimed it referred to the 1982 conflict. The presenter yesterday said the violent protest was ´state-organised´ accusing the Argentinians of taking advantage of their visit for ´political capital´.

I’m always sceptical when I hear scare-mongering claims about diseases. From bird flu to SARS, we’re repeatedly told it’s going to be the new Plague that will wipe everyone out and then…it doesn’t. Probably because the scare-mongering itself makes people take it seriously enough to prevent it spreading. But there is something very sinister and frightening about this Ebola outbreak, which has so far infected 7,100 and killed 3,300. [Snip] It’s hard to think of a more cack-handed, dangerously inept response than what transpired in Dallas. Consider what we now know: Thomas Eric Duncan, a 42-year-old Liberian citizen, had been

Health experts assembled by the White House conceded on Friday that a second case of Ebola could be identified in the U.S. But they defiantly insisted that the epidemic plaguing western Africa will not rise to the level of a major American outbreak. [Snip] But the overall feeling of the sparsely attended afternoon press conference was one of complacency, with the Obama administration´s top Ebola spear-catchers saying over and over that Americans have nothing to fear even though the government has no plans to close airports to planes originating in at the disease´s ground-zero.

Health officials have admitted their response to the potential Ebola outbreak in Texas has been ‘rocky’--amid growing concern over how a patient with the virus was able to get through customs, was initially turned away from hospital with painkllers and Hazmat teams then took five days to properly quarantine his relatives. But he ignored the length of time of the response and the fact that hundreds of people may have been unnecessarily exposed to the

It is the stuff that nightmares are made of, and day by day it is getting worse. The Ebola epidemic, says Dr Margaret Chan, director-general of the World Health Organisation (WHO), is now “the greatest peacetime challenge” since the Second World War. Yet her own organisation’s tardiness, partly caused by cuts, together with reductions in--and misuse of--funds elsewhere, are largely responsible for Ebola spiralling out of control. [Snip] It’s just the beginning. At present the numbers of people infected are thought to be doubling in under 30 days--and the blue-chip US Center for Disease Control and Prevention predicts that, if Ebola

It has been precisely a month since corpulent young dictator Kim Jong Un disappeared from public view, prompting frenzied speculation about his health and the state of political play in North Korea. Kim was last seen at a Sept. 3 concert, ensconced in a red easy chair next to his wife, Ri Sol Ju. Late last month, the youthful marshal was a no-show at a meeting of North Korea’s rubber-stamp legislature. The cloistered nation’s state-run TV aired images of his seat at parliament—empty. But North Korea experts say that the likeliest reason is also the simplest: That the Supreme Leader

Three US citizens are fighting in Syria, the British Daily Mail reports Friday. But unlike most foreign nationals, they are fighting against - not for - jihadists. One of the Americans has been identified as Jordan Matson (28) from Racine, Wisconsin, a spokesman for the private Pashmerga army, the Kurdish People´s Protection Units (YPG), said Thursday. Matson is a former US Army soldier now "fighting in the Jazaa area," the spokesman added - an area riddled by heavy fighting between Islamic State (ISIS) and Kurdish forces in northeast Syria. The US has not blacklisted the YPG as a terrorist organization, but it does

Climate change is even deadlier than ebola according to the editor of one of the world´s oldest and most distinguished medical journals. Fiona Godlee, editor in chief of the BMJ (formerly the British Medical Journal; established 1840), claims in her latest editorial: Deaths from Ebola infection, tragic and frightening though they are, will pale into insignificance when compared with the mayhem we can expect for our children and grandchildren if the world does nothing to check its carbon emissions. And action is needed now. Not all BMJ readers will necessarily agree with this assessment, Godlee concedes: When The BMJ started publishing articles on climate

Approaching half of all terrorist plots against Britain are still hatched in Afghanistan and Pakistan 13 years after British troops were sent to the country to destroy Al Qaeda, David Cameron revealed this morning. The Prime Minister, in Kabul on an unannounced visit to meet with the country’s new unity government, said Britain had ‘paid a very high price’ for liberating Afghanistan from the Taliban--with 453 British soldiers losing their lives. Mr Cameron claimed Britain and other allies had forced Al Qaeda out the region and the number of plots originating in the region had fallen. But he admitted the

In the first chapter that addresses the encounter, Dunham describes the "ill-fated evening of lovemaking" as awkward and hollow. The spin began soon after the threat was isolated. Information was selectively leaked. Half-truths and untruths were uttered. Responsibility was avoided; privileges and credentials asserted; authority reasserted. Trust us. Remain calm. Don’t panic. This is the template of recent events. President Obama was at Northwestern University on Thursday to deliver an economic speech that, he and his team hoped, would lay out the case for why the public is better off today than they were six years ago -- even if they didn´t feel it in their everday lives. Instead, Obama just gave every Republican ad-maker in the country more fodder for negative ads linking Democratic candidates to him. Here are the four sentences that will draw all of the attention (they come more than two thirds of the way through the speech): "I am not on the ballot this

A recent fight between Rosie O´Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg has producers at The View looking to add a cool-down room for the ladies. After being cut off by Goldberg during an episode last week so the show could go to commercial, O´Donnell began to express how upset she was and, after being told repeatedly by Goldberg it was not the right time to have that discussion, eventually got cursed out by the Oscar winner. Goldberg told O´Donnell, ´F*** it, I told you to leave it alone and you just don´t want to listen. If you want to go there Rosie,

A presidential defeat isn’t an easy thing to bounce back from. And Mitt Romney did it twice. So it was understandable that after he lost the presidential race in 2012, he was adamant about closing the door to the possibility of a third campaign. But recently, speculation is whirling that Romney may not be so adamant anymore. When asked if he was running in a New York Times interview published earlier this week, Romney said : “I have nothing to add to the story. We’ve got a lot of people looking at the race,” he said. “We’ll see what happens.” That response, which

WASHINGTON — Representative Elijah E. Cummings of Maryland was at the grocery store the other day when he ran into an elderly black woman who expressed growing concern about President Obama’s safety. Why, she asked, wasn’t he being better protected by his Secret Service agents? The furor that led to this week’s resignation of the director of the Secret Service resonated deeply among blacks, outraged that those supposed to be guarding the first black president were somehow falling down on the job — and suspicious even without evidence that it may be deliberate. “It is something that is widespread in
