CA Lawmakers Aim To Ban English

Breitbart California, by Robert Wilde

On Tuesday, a few hours after Mexican president Enrique Pena Nieto said that Illegal Aliens deserve justice in the USA and Gov. Jerry Brown welcomed all illegal immigrants to California, lawmakers in Sacramento passed a proposed ballot measure seeking to dismantle the English-only mandate for public schools and increase multilingual education programs. The Los Angeles Times reported that Sen. Ricardo Lara (D-Los Angeles), chairman of the Latino Legislative Caucus, asserted "I think Californians´ attitudes have changed and they understand the need, now that we are in a global economy, to have a multilingual workforce." Moreover, Lara says the timing is

This is another excellent example of why you never want to elect a democrat to a public office. They do not know how to govern, they only know how to rule. The democrat fools love telling people how to live their lives, based on a Utopian myth all democrats seem to believe (we know how you should live your life much better than you know how to live your life).

I might support this if it came with a reciprocal stipulation -- that all public education in Mexico include English. Along with legal instruction on the legitimacy and role of international borders, and the validity of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo in the context of international history...

When I heard Govvy Brown talking the other day, I thought, gee, he sounds senile... or maybe pre-senile or maybe tipsy. His speech was a little slurred. He sounded stupid.

The crux of the problem is the voters of CA have elected more and more leftists and panderers to illegals and Hispanic minorities (not all of whom want this invasion of illegals).

It´s a little twist on Lenin´s remark that the capitalists would provide the Bolsheviks the means to destroy themselves.

If you keep electing people who furnish the means to transform the once most prosperous State into an appendage of the corrupt Mexican government, the end result will be grotesque.

For example, do Californians have property? Do they want their kids going to State universities? Both will be gone or worthless, because these invaders come from socialist wastelands who have no regard for private property, or the obligations of citizenship in a Republic.

[And no, I do not think all of these people swarming over the border are criminals, other than their having broken our immigration laws.]

The invasion must be stopped. We have never had a mass of people arrive in our country demanding anything EXCEPT the freedom to pursue their dreams within the Constitutional framework. They obeyed our Laws.

Illegals do NOT "deserve" justice. This is a ridiculous assertion. WE deserve justice, as citizens and tax-payers who are paying the bills.

BEIRUT — U.S.-led coalition warplanes bombed Islamic State group positions overnight across four provinces in northern and eastern Syria, hitting a grain silo as well as the country’s largest gas plant, activists said Monday. Washington and its Arab allies opened their air assault against the extremist group last week, going after its military facilities, training camps, heavy weapons and oil installations. The campaign expands upon the airstrikes the United States has been conducting against the militants in Iraq since early August. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said coalition forces hit Islamic State group facilities overnight in Aleppo, Raqqa,

Political pollsters have a tough job. They have to create formulas to determine if the person they are interviewing is likely to vote, and it is within this calculation that their reputations are made. Typically, those who are likely to vote in an off-year election are pretty set. They are the people who always vote in elections — with some motivated by specific issues. In a wave election, the number of those motivated by specific issues escalates, changing the electoral landscape as the candidates who are beneficiaries of this increased participation sweep to victory.
