Israeli Negotiator: Gazans Have
Nothing to Celebrate

Arutz Sheva [Israel], by Moshe Cohen

Amos Gilad, the former IDF general who was a member of the Israeli negotiating team that worked on the Gaza ceasefire, said Thursday that the indirect negotiation process between Israel and Hamas was one of the most “tiring” experiences he had ever been through. “You sit for hours in a room, waiting for the minor changes made by either Hamas or the Egyptians to the agreement, many of them designed to trick you into making a bad deal,” Gilad said of the process. Negotiations took place in a Gaza hotel, with Israeli and Hamas terror officials sequestered in different rooms. Egyptian

Actually, Gazans can celebrate that they can attempt to complete Hitler´s Holocaust while being portrayed as innocent victims by the execrable MSM. They can celebrate that the price they pay for MSM collusion and sympathy is still rather low.

Other than 2000 less mouths to feed, and isolation from most the the world, Hamas can celebrate the achievement of goals that they could have achieved by oeace, years ago.

Any agreement with Hamas is a farce since Hamas is just looking for a chance to rearm and recover. Then they will start attacking again as if the agreement never existed.

Further, with a much tighter border with Egypt reducing smuggling and much more awareness that Hamas uses construction materials to build attack tunnels, life in Gaza is going to become even more miserable than it was.

The Department of Homeland Security quickly denied claims on Friday from a watchdog group that the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) has militants stationed in Juarez, Mexico who plan an ´imminent´ attack against the United States. A DHS spokesman was bewildered, telling MailOnline that ´we are aware of absolutely nothing credible to substantiate this claim´ made by Judicial Watch, a center-right group. [Snip] And during a late-morning media briefing, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said flatly that ´the most detailed intelligence assessment that I can offer from here is that there is no evidence or indication right now

The organization calling itself the Islamic State has risen from the fog of war in Syria and Iraq in recent months and drawn the attention of the world with major victories on both sides of the Euphrates River that have claimed swaths of territory for its declared caliphate, or Islamic State. Now in the organization´s new English language publication, Dabiq, aimed at young Muslims in western states, the extremist organization declared, "Islamic State will do everything within its means to continue striking down every apostate who stands as an obstacle on its path towards Palestine."

"The advantage of biological weapons is that they do not cost a lot of money, while the human casualties can be huge," the document states. Washington rushed to defend President Barack Obama´s comments Thursday night that the US has "no plan" to combat Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) in Syria, clarifying at a press conference that its options are "still under review." The key word missing, apparently, is "yet." “The president hasn´t yet laid out a specific plan for military action in Syria,” said White House press secretary Josh Earnest. “And the reason for that is simply that the Pentagon is still developing that plan and he is still reviewing it.” “The president was candid about the fact that the Pentagon is still reviewing options that

A third of Americans are now on welfare benefits, prompting calls to raise the minimum wage and encourage more people to stay in work. New census data has revealed that around 110 million Americans are receiving government assistance of some kind. The number includes people receiving ´means-tested´ federal benefits and subsidies based on income. Those receiving food stamps, subsidised housing and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families are also included in the total. At the end of 2012 around 83 million were collecting Medicaid and 51.5 million were on food stamps, with some benefitting from multiple programs.

Thousands of Islamic Jihad fighters paraded in Gaza City Friday, in a defiant show of force three days after a ceasefire ended Israel´s self-defense operation, Operation Protective Edge, in Gaza. The United States has begun delivering nearly $20 million of arms including assault rifles, anti-tank missiles and mortars to bolster Lebanon´s army after Islamist insurgents seized a border town for several days this month, US officials said on Friday. Lebanon, a country of about 4 million which borders Israel, has long been buffeted by the rivalries of regional and international powers including Iran and Saudi Arabia, who back its opposing politicians largely along sectarian lines. But the threat of expansion by militants who want to build a "caliphate" stretching from Iraq to the Mediterranean has created an unusual common front among Lebanon´s

President Barack Obama came to the White House briefing room last night and conceded: "We don’t have a strategy yet" for confronting Isil. The remark is a gaffe in the classic sense: a clearly true statement that the politician who utters it immediately regrets. Republicans seized on the line as evidence of Mr Obama dithering in the face of the jihadist threat, and the President´s men raced to the airwaves to try to walk it back. But the fact is that despite more than 100 air strikes against Isil in Iraq since the beginning of August, the White House remains unable to field

In a statement from the White House on Thursday, President Obama addressed the world on fire. I feel confident in saying that most Americans are disgusted by the perfectly legal practice of U.S. companies avoiding taxes by incorporating in another country. So why does it take a whopper of a story to get the media to pay attention? Burger King, as you know, is moving to buy the Canadian chain Tim Hortons, and this is more about dollars than doughnuts. The hamburger giant plans to move its headquarters to Canada, thereby slashing its Treasury tax bill. The White House doesn’t like it. Democrats don’t like it. The Republicans don’t like it. The FAA has issued a no-fly warning that extends for most of Friday and all day Saturday through Sunday, grounding seaplanes to East Hampton, Montauk, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. On Friday, Obama will be feted at the home of one of his top bundlers, 32 Advisors’ Robert Wolf, in the aptly-named Purchase, NY, with 250 high-rollers paying up to $32,000 each to bend Obama’s ear. Megyn Kelly was incredibly bewildered Thursday night at President Obama‘s comment about having no concrete Syria strategy yet. Ed Henry was very blunt in telling Kelly that this is an unqualified “disaster” for the White House. Henry admitted he was “stunned” that none of his colleagues in the briefing room followed up on that remark of the president’s, especially considering how quickly after the presser the White House jumped right into “damage control mode.” And whereas last night Henry blew Kelly’s mind by telling her Obama would be attending one fundraiser on Friday, he told her tonight that actually, it’s going to

The last two Republican candidates for president have been among the weakest GOP candidates in 50 years. Barack Obama presented Mitt Romney with a gift in 2012: A struggling economy, sluggish growth, a paucity of jobs, and a health care law that was extremely unpopular. In what should have been a landslide rejection of Obama´s policies, Romney flubbed it big time and allowed his opponent to define him - and Republicans - in the most unflattering way imaginable. intelligence community has observed a “significant increase” in chatter among terrorist organizations as the 13th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks nears. “We’ve noticed a significant increase in chatter among Islamic terrorist organizations overseas both on the Internet and phone lines,” a U.S. government official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told The Blaze. While the intelligence community can not pinpoint whether or not an attack is planned, the official said that agencies “did see this kind of increase in chatter before the September 11 attacks.”
