The NRSC´s Remarkable
Immigration Statement

Breitbart Big Government, by Jonathan Strong

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 8/27/2014 11:04:55 AM

Capitol Hill insiders widely consider President Obama´s rumored plan to unilaterally extend amnesty to as many as five million of illegal aliens to be political suicide, essentially ceding control of the Senate in a single act. But a key question has been whether elite Republicans are willing to deploy the issue in weaponized form. A statement from Brad Dayspring, spokesman for the National Republican Senatorial Committee, suggests the answer is yes. “Executive amnesty would not only subvert the law, but depress wages, and hurt the poorest Americans most of all – including legal immigrants looking to rise into the middle

Comments:
Are the Republicans starting to see the light? That sure would be nice to see. It still stuns me that Paul Ryan, who is supposed to be an economic wizard, continues to push immigration stating that "increasing immigration will increase the size of the economy, creating a “rising tide that lifts all boats.” He couldn´t be more wrong.

Do not trust them. They won´t permanently close the border and they will not stop the unfettered illegal immigration. The GOP has sold their souls to the devil US Chamber of Commerce. It´s all smoke to lull the conservatives into voting for them.

Remember, at one time the GOP was going to REPEAL Obamacare; anyone heard that lately??? Mitch McConnell was going to "rip it out—root and branch. That was a long time ago................

They got the adverse economic affects on American and legal immigrant workers correct.

If the illegal alien population of today is entitled to amnesty, why not the illegal aliens who come tomorrow, next week, next month and in the years ahead as they will be for the most part the same class of poor and uneducated people?

In an unforgivable betrayal, Republican elites sold out their middle class base. Lip service cannot repair the fractured bond of trust.

An Army intelligence bulletin is warning U.S. military personnel to be vigilant after Islamic State militants called on supporters to scour social media for addresses of their family members – and to “show up [at their homes] and slaughter them." The assessment, obtained by Fox News, came from the Army Threat Integration Center which issues early warnings of criminal and terrorist threats to Army posts worldwide. The advisory warns military personnel and their families about the Islamic State, or ISIS, calling on supporters to target their homes. While there is no independent intelligence to corroborate the ISIS threats, the bulletin recommends more than

With a growing Ebola death rate causing chaos in some countries devastated by the virus, there are rising concerns in Washington that terrorists and terror groups will take advantage and move in to establish new beachheads plot attacks on the United States. “We need to take the Ebola epidemic in Africa as seriously as we take the Islamic State in the Middle East,” long-serving Sen. First lady Michelle Obama, going to bat for Senate Democrats amid reports she is abandoning them on the campaign trail, is warning that control of the chamber and the potential Republican impeachment of her husband rests on just a few votes. In a fundraising email for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, she urged party loyalists to cough up more money and help get Democrats to the polls in a month. “I’ll put it frankly: If we lose these midterm elections, we’ll just see more obstruction, more lawsuits and talk about impeachment, and more votes to repeal the Affordable Care Act

With Ebola dominating the headlines, you might feel a looming dread. Can it happen to you and your loved ones? How can you protect yourself? Is it too early to start freaking out about Ebola? Well, you can relax, as long as your skin is white. That’s according to the 100 percent sane and rational Rev. Louis Farrakhan, who explains it all: In a national security memo dated April 24, 1974 titled, “Implications of Worldwide Population Growth for the United States Security and Overseas Interest,” Henry Kissinger, the Secretary of State under George Herbert Walker Bush, wrote: “Depopulation should be

As the Islamic State rose to become the terrorist mass that it is today, President Barack Obama ignored warnings and reportedly skipped about half of his presidential daily briefings. He downplayed the threat, calling ISIS “jayvee.” Those briefings that the president reportedly skipped included “specific” intelligence about ISIS and its capabilities even before the 2012 election. At that time, Obama was publicly campaigning on having “decimated” “core al Qaeda” and sent it “on the run.” So was Obama reading his briefings or not? It’s an important question that aims directly at how the president is performing his duties. Obama tossed

It’s been a yearlong courtship, but no one quite knows if it will pay off. For the past year, Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) has been wooing his longtime friend Jeb Bush to jump into the 2016 presidential race, even as he has shunned potential Tea Party rivals like Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas and Rand Paul of Kentucky.Boehner stepped up his lobbying efforts this week, singing the former Florida governor’s praises in a pair of media interviews. The Speaker’s preference for yet another Bush White House run is partly political, partly personal. He sees Bush as undeniably the strongest, most viable candidate

President Barack Obama has taken a lot of flack since his Sunday night “60 Minutes” interview, in which he blamed the intelligence community for his failure to tackle the threat posed by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. And that is right and proper. Because not only was his excuse of blaming us a lie, but when questioned on his lie, White House press secretary Josh Earnest doubled down with a whole new lie — both of which are easily, publicly proven false. On Sunday, Obama said the intelligence community had underestimated the rise of ISIS, saying in an interview

The Obama administration found itself scrambling on Tuesday to defend President Barack Obama for his lackluster 42% attendance record on daily intelligence briefings, a finding from a new report issued by the non-partisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI). When asked about the GAI revelation on Fox News, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki appeared flustered and unprepared. "Well, I have no validation of those statistics," said Psaki. "There are a range of ways that you can get your intelligence briefings on the road, in the White House, and I know that he receives those whenever he can."

Dallas County went through a day-long anxiety attack Tuesday, waiting to hear if the first Ebola diagnosis in the nation would happen here. My last article for American Thinker was too long. And too short. Too long because the gurus tell us articles should be about 600 words. My story about the president talking to the black caucus about white people inflicting constant racial injustice on black people came in at 1500 words. I was just getting warmed up. I thought it strange that at the same time the president was trying to persuade us that black people are relentless victims, black people were committing acts of racial violence in places like Seattle, Miami, Indianapolis, Bronx, Ferguson, Kansas City, Providence, Minneapolis and 18 miles from where

President Obama this week committed professional suicide. Let me explain. There is a theory in politics that once a leader has fired 50 or more people from his or her administration, he or she is finished. The reason being that by creating so many enemies ‘outside the tent’, the tent itself becomes too deluged with poisonous bile to avoid sinking into a quagmire of back-stabbing ignominy. Obama went a lot further than firing 50 people. He managed to single-handedly alienate 200,000 employees in the American intelligence agencies by going on 60 Minutes and ruthlessly chucking them all under a bus

Count House Speaker John Boehner as a fan of Jeb Bush for president. He also hasn´t spoken to Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz in two years. The driving issue of the 2016 election will be “competence,” and if former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush runs, “he’s got a real shot” at winning, the Ohio Republican told the Cincinnati Enquirer on Tuesday. Boehner applauded Bush’s ability to “talk about Republican issues better than most anybody that we’ve got out there,” approving of his “real record of reform” as Florida’s governor from 1999 to 2007. The quintessential question of Watergate was “what did the President know and when did he know it?” Obamagate, the vast scandal that encompasses an entire presidency, offers a preemptive answer. Obama didn’t know anything and he never knew it.
