Obama’s Speech To The American
Legion Was Painfully Awkward [VIDEO]

Daily Caller, by Brendan Bordelon

It wasn’t exactly the roaring, adoring, campaign-style crowd President Barack Obama is accustomed to. On Tuesday, the president spoke to the American Legion’s national convention, facing a crowd of veterans deeply concerned about widespread corruption at the Veterans Administration and the resultant deaths of some veterans awaiting health care. So when Obama began by lecturing the veterans about cynicism and explaining his most recent foreign policy choices — instead of addressing the VA crisis — the audience clearly wasn’t pleased. Fox News cameras captured a sea of blank or frowning faces looking silently back at the president as he paused

Lately Obama has seemed bored, tired and lazier than before. He doesn´t seem to be getting any enjoyment from his best times at fund raisers. We feel the same way about him. I guess all those vacations are not doing his health any good. I think he needs a long-vacation in a padded cell.

He looked sweaty, tired, uninterested.

Whatever applause the audience rendered was, as the article and Posters here have said, barely polite.

#2 puts it perfectly. Not only does the emperor have no clothes, he is shallow and empty. The whole world is seeing through him.

One danger is that our arch-enemies also see through him.

The other danger is that a man with his ego problems is likely to act out in a manner even more harmful to us and the civilized world. He only does what he thinks benefits himself.

The audience was so dead that the camera went in on a tiny pocket (fewer than a dozen) and were so ziimrd to them you could have seen moles.

Shades of those dreadful old campaign speeches in large empty arenas where those who were there had to be hustled down to the front for the cameras. One camera went off script and showed vast numbers of empty seats.

Great orator? Feh.

Clearly Obama considers the American Legion members to represent the past and is happy to see them die off. He knows that he has little political support from that aged mostly White organization. Clearly Obama was just going through the motions in addressing the American Legion.

Obama knows that the future of the Democrat Party and the progressive agenda lies with new younger demographic groups, millions of illegal aliens who he wants to legalize and convert into Democrat voters, gays, ethnic and racial groups, and poor people who rely on government benefit and services programs to survive..

Imagine the absurdity of reporting on supporters of Richard Nixon during the Watergate hearings with no mention of the White House Plumbers who performed the break-in at the complex. Such is the case now with Politico reporting on groups of Hillary Clinton supporters who will be defending her during the Congressional Benghazi hearings which makes absolutely no mention of the Sharyl Attkisson´s report about how Hillary´s aides at the State Department scrubbed the Benghazi documents of possibly incriminating information. Washington -Leaders from both parties expressed confidence Tuesday that the House would support President Obama´s request to arm Syrian rebels in the fight against Islamic State militants, an important component of the administration´s broader strategy to confront the extremist forces. WASHINGTON – NASA will turn to aerospace giant Boeing and "new space" startup SpaceX to launch U.S. astronauts again from American shores, ending a reliance on Russian Soyuz capsules that began after the last space shuttle landed on Earth three years ago. The selection Tuesday of two private tech companies to catapult the nation´s flagging space program marks a major turning point for NASA, which traditionally has led the nation´s expeditions into space. Boeing and SpaceX will combine to develop the rocketry and crew modules to ferry American astronauts to and from the International Space Station by 2017. The long-anticipated
