Harvard Law Professor: Ferguson
Shooting ‘Just Like’ King Assassination,
‘Even Worse’ Than Emmett Till

National Review Online, by Andrew Johnson

Harvard Law School professor Charles Ogletree grouped the shooting of Michael Brown, who was fatally shot by a police officer in Ferguson, Mo., earlier this month, with two of the most monumental deaths American civil-rights history on MSNBC. Ogletree, a renowned legal scholar who taught President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama during their time in Cambridge, described the state of affairs following Brown’s funeral as being “just like the assassination of” Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in 1968. “This reminds us of exactly what happened years ago when I was a young kid to the great man Emmett Till,

It went from a shooting, to a Killing, to a Murder, to an Execution...now it´s an Assassination. All of those things once had discrete differential definitions. The last in particular once described the pre planned murder of an individual of demonstrable socio-political import, often for political purpose.

Do these idiots realize how utterly ridiculous and foolish they sound? You cannot compare a man attacking a police officer and getting shot to the assassination of the peaceful Dr. King or the wrongful murder of the young child (not "great man") Emmett Till. Till was 14 years old. This fool is trying to say it was worse that a cop killed a thug in self-defense than it was that some sleazeball racists (probably Democrats) murdered a boy for looking at a white woman? Come on!!! I guess they are hoping that people don´t know history or never lived during that period. They hope that the lofos are completely ignorant and will just take their word for it.

This man sounds deranged, perhaps having a mental breakdown. Brown was a thug, one how just committed robbery and then tried to beat up an officer. No comparison to Till or King.

BTW, a black officer shot a white guy. That should cause outrage and rioting. NOT!

"Michael Brown did not break in any law at all, in terms of the police officer.”

Sticking to the fairy tale in which Brown did not punch the officer in the face and attempt to take his gun.

So the veteran police office just shot him for no reason, throwing his career and life away for nothing.

What ? A Harvard Law professor doesn´t know the difference between a young person high on drugs and self praise for bulling a store owner during a robbery and a grown man sneaking out of the apt. of his mistress-- a real assassination or murder. Note that shot with a high power weapon wasn´t taking by a cop.

Harvard has housed some of the most dangerous un-American people in the world. They need to shut down that place. They have no moral compass. They have a liar and a cheat on the staff who claimed to be a Native American to get a job and when they found out she was a liar they kept her on. Any other employer would have terminated her. CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Now that the suspect in the disappearance of University of Virginia student Hannah Graham has been linked to another high-profile unsolved case, investigators are reportedly probing whether he could be tied to more unsolved murders and disappearances in the state. (Snip)Virginia State Police say he´s also linked by forensics to the 2009 disappearance of Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington, 20. Harrington´s remains were found on a farm in rural Albemarle County three months after she disappeared after a rock concert on the U.Va. campus in Charlottesville Oct. 17, 2009.

The suspect in the disappearance of University of Virginia sophomore Hannah Graham was accused of sexual assaults at two Virginia colleges he attended, and he left each school shortly after each allegation, according to school officials. The alleged assaults occurred within an 11-month span from 2002 to 2003 as Jesse L. “LJ” Matthew Jr. moved from Liberty University in Lynchburg to Christopher Newport University in Newport News. Police investigated each report, but neither resulted in a criminal case, according to the Lynchburg prosecutor and a review of online court records in Newport News.

It´s not enough. Julia Pierson´s otherwise distinguished career at the Secret Service ended Wednesday when she resigned as director of the disgraced agency—her last act the right one.
