Harvard Law Professor: Ferguson
Shooting ‘Just Like’ King Assassination,
‘Even Worse’ Than Emmett Till

National Review Online, by Andrew Johnson

Harvard Law School professor Charles Ogletree grouped the shooting of Michael Brown, who was fatally shot by a police officer in Ferguson, Mo., earlier this month, with two of the most monumental deaths American civil-rights history on MSNBC. Ogletree, a renowned legal scholar who taught President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama during their time in Cambridge, described the state of affairs following Brown’s funeral as being “just like the assassination of” Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in 1968. “This reminds us of exactly what happened years ago when I was a young kid to the great man Emmett Till,

It went from a shooting, to a Killing, to a Murder, to an Execution...now it´s an Assassination. All of those things once had discrete differential definitions. The last in particular once described the pre planned murder of an individual of demonstrable socio-political import, often for political purpose.

Do these idiots realize how utterly ridiculous and foolish they sound? You cannot compare a man attacking a police officer and getting shot to the assassination of the peaceful Dr. King or the wrongful murder of the young child (not "great man") Emmett Till. Till was 14 years old. This fool is trying to say it was worse that a cop killed a thug in self-defense than it was that some sleazeball racists (probably Democrats) murdered a boy for looking at a white woman? Come on!!! I guess they are hoping that people don´t know history or never lived during that period. They hope that the lofos are completely ignorant and will just take their word for it.

This man sounds deranged, perhaps having a mental breakdown. Brown was a thug, one how just committed robbery and then tried to beat up an officer. No comparison to Till or King.

BTW, a black officer shot a white guy. That should cause outrage and rioting. NOT!

"Michael Brown did not break in any law at all, in terms of the police officer.”

Sticking to the fairy tale in which Brown did not punch the officer in the face and attempt to take his gun.

So the veteran police office just shot him for no reason, throwing his career and life away for nothing.

Deceitful garbage

What ? A Harvard Law professor doesn´t know the difference between a young person high on drugs and self praise for bulling a store owner during a robbery and a grown man sneaking out of the apt. of his mistress-- a real assassination or murder. Note that shot with a high power weapon wasn´t taking by a cop.

Harvard has housed some of the most dangerous un-American people in the world. They need to shut down that place. They have no moral compass. They have a liar and a cheat on the staff who claimed to be a Native American to get a job and when they found out she was a liar they kept her on. Any other employer would have terminated her. The Secret Service was unaware for four days that a man had fired a high-powered rifle at the White House in 2011 in a ´fumbled´ response that left the Obamas furious, says a new report. Officers allegedly performed a string of security lapses after Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez shot at least seven bullets at the executive mansion in Washington from his car. At the time, President Barack Obama, his wife Michelle and their older daughter Malia were not at home, but their younger daughter Sasha and Mrs Obama´s mother, Marian Robinson, were inside. Well, that didn’t take long. Just two weeks into the new season of “The View,” co-hosts Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg tore into each other during a commercial break — in front of their stunned studio audience. The spat erupted Thursday after Goldberg interrupted O’Donnell to go to a commercial break before the mother of five was finished commenting in a “Hot Topic” discussion about spanking children on the ABC gabfest. O’Donnell refuses to wear an earpiece to stay in contact with producers while the live show is airing, so she had no clue it was time to stop talking.
