Poll: Majorities of Black and
White People Think They Get
Along Just Fine

Amid the hysteria over the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., it might be lost that most black and white Americans believe they’re not out to get each other. A new Pew Research survey shows that 75 percent of whites and 64 percent of blacks say their groups get along together “pretty well” if not “very well.” It’s a bleaker view for Hispanics, 53 percent of whom say the same. Ferguson fell into the national media spotlight on Aug. 9 when Brown, who was unarmed and black,” was shot dead by Darren Wilson, a white police officer. A St. Louis grand jury is currently deliberating whether to charge Wilson of a crime.

Tell it to a white child going to a majority black school. Tell it to the victim of a knockout game. Tell it to a white cop working an inner city neighborhood. Tell it to a business owner being extorted. The list could go on.

We do, at least in the circles I inhabit, but I guarantee that there are more "racists" now than there were in 2008. For good reason. A lot of eyes have been opened.

Obama and his ilk have poisoned the well. I don´t believe there are that many blacks that want peace or to get along with other races.
Blacks hate themselves, other blacks and kill one another why should they like a white person, Asian or Hispanic?
I´ll stay out and away from their environment and they can stay away from mine. I don´t want to intermingle, understand, learn or be entertained by them. Blacks offer nothing to society of any value except what we are witnessing in Ferguson. Obama has washed any feelings, what little I had, for that race of people.

The problem between the cultures exists when the Permanent Grievance Industry black culture insists that we tolerate criminals - that their race mitigates the crime. OJ trial anyone? Criminally corrupt black democrats re-elected time and time again. Marion Barry? Trayvon Martin - a thug - according to the Permanent Grievance Industry Black culture the white culture should just lay down and die if they are attacked.

These are not innocent people - Brown had just committed a crime when he decided to commit another by resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. And they don´t back down when they realize their guy was in the wrong. They double down on stupid, deliberately in order to maintain strife.

Look at the numbers. The 3rd party always thinks that there is greater problem between the other 2 races. So more blacks think there is white-Hispanic race problem than Hispanics. More whites think there is a black-Hispanic race problem than Hispanics. And more Hispanics think there is black-white race problem than blacks. What this says to me is that much of the ´perceived´ racism is fueled by the MSM.

How you feel about that probably depends on where you live. In my city blacks make up less than 7% of the population.

The ones I know are good family people with the same values that I have.

However, if I lived in Ferguson, I´m sure I would have had a very different opinion of black people even before the riots.

#3 is on the mark. Do we mix or self-segregate?

We raised both our boys while living in a colored neighborhood. They were harassed on their school buses, but grew up pretty unbiased. That is, until one of them joined the Marine Corps and saw how mercilessly black Marine males dogged white Marine females.

The US is now composed of approximately 13% blacks, with non-Hispanic whites comprising most of the remaining population. Try to imagine what your life would be like if blacks were in the majority.... Better still, look at the stats from South Africa, Zimbabwe, Haiti.

The problem is who a group allows to become the spokesman and how much they bow to the bullies within their own ranks.

Every racial and ethnic group has members who are trashy. Such members always blame their problems on someone else. The unemployable black pot head blames the white man. The unemployable white meth head blames the blacks. The Mexican gang member blames the Gringos. The unemployable Chechen blames Western capitalism. The unemployable Palestinian blames the Jews. The unemployable Irish lout with his nose buried in a bottle blames the British. The list goes on and on.

Political opportunists feed this talk. One thing that has happened in the West is that our effete journalists consider the trash and their spokesmen more "authenitic" than the members of the group who live by the traditional civilized virtues.

Here´s the problem with these numbers.

45 million Blacks live in the US. About a third are unhappy with the way they are "treated" in the US. That´s 15 million people. 15 million unhappy people is a heck of a lot. Further, those people are not distributed evenly throughout the country. They are clustered around urban areas that suffer the most from "progressive" mismanagement, deepening the sense of grievance.

Black leadership beating the drums to agitate these 15 million is a real problem. I agree that Blacks are causing a lot of their own problems. The tolerance of inner city violence is an example. It´s not that the police couldn´t crack down but the communities do NOT want them to because it would require the perpetrators of the violence, mostly Blacks, to be arrested. The Black community refuses to support that. So they wallow in violence.

Despite that, millions of angry people is NOT a good situation for this country. BO could have done something to address this. He has not, one of the biggest failures of his presidency. Instead he has his AG grievance master fan the flames of anger.

Sad and scary.

Im 68 years old. When I was a kid, seeing a black and white couple, people were horrified. But there are so many now, that I just said to my husband how can the races hate each other so..when there are so many couples. The race baiters should be ashamed of themselves. Blacks should be ashamed of themselves for letting them get away with their race baiting.
We made a decision when we got married that the only way to stop discrimination was not to teach it to our kids, now 43,45. We didn´t. But we had perfect teaching examples, as my father-in-law was quite racist. Rather than stop him when he spoke that way, we would use it as a teaching example to show our children how wrong it was. As they got older, we would see them cringe as he spouted that crap.
My husband was in the Navy, and we wanted to go into business with the chef at the Officers Club,(I would still give my eye teeth for his pork and sauerkraut recipe..too young and stupid to just ask him) and had him and his family over to our house many times. In the early ´70,s, that was radical. But our children learned. We were there over 2 Christmases and we would have all his corpsmen (for 0 that´s pronounced core-men) over for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. Many were black.
Now the kids are grown, and no racism in them.

There’s been lots of debate lately in housing circles about the impact of student debt on home ownership. Now there’s a new study out that attempts to put a number on that impact: 414,000. That’s how many home sales will not happen this year because of high levels of student loan debt, according to a report from John Burns Consulting, an Irvine-based firm that advises home builders. That’s equal to about 8% of all home sales, and enough to dent the housing industry by $83 billion a year. The report estimates that the number of households under age 40 that

He was a leading figure in one of the biggest climate change marches to date. But it seems Robert F Kennedy Jr was not so forthcoming when it came to questions about his own carbon footprint. Confronted by a reporter asking if he would give up his phone and car, the environmental lawyer became visibly irate before grabbing the microphone and accusing her of ´destroying democracy´ as a member of the press. The interview in New York yesterday afternoon started with a conversation about the number of flyers produced for the event, which Kennedy Jr claimed was necessary to garner ´people power´.

It was once said, “religion is designed to comfort the afflicted and to afflict the comfortable.” Jesus’ parables – short stories with moral lessons – were likewise designed to afflict, to draw us in but leave us uncomfortable. These teachings can be read as being about divine love and salvation, sure. But, their first listeners – first century Jews in Galilee and Judea – heard much more challenging messages. Only when we hear the parables as Jesus’ own audience did can we fully experience their power and find ourselves surprised and challenged today. Here are four examples of Jesus’ teachings that everybody gets wrong: 1.

Note: Read the Hillary Clinton-Saul Alinsky Letters here. Previously unpublished correspondence between Hillary Clinton and the late left-wing organizer Saul Alinsky reveal new details about her relationship with the controversial Chicago activist and shed light on her early ideological development. Clinton met with Alinsky several times in 1968 while writing a Wellesley college thesis about his theory of community organizing. Clinton’s relationship with Alinsky, and her support for his philosophy, continued for several years after she entered Yale law school in 1969, two letters obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show. The man who jumped the White House railing Sept. 19 deserves the right to live in President Barack Obama’s home, just as the president is allowing hundreds of thousands of border-jumping Central Americans to live in Americans’ homeland, says a new tongue-in-cheek petition posted at the White House website. “We urge President Obama to immediately and publicly recognize that Mr. Omar J. Gonzalez, an oppressed migrant, was merely looking for a better life when he entered the White House after going over the classist, divisive and needless fence,” says the petition, which was authored by D.A. King, founder of the Georgia-based

When Anthony Weiner’s mayoral campaign imploded last year amid new sexting revelations, the fallout buffeted his wife, longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin. Clinton’s inner circle was furious with Weiner, and Abedin’s role with Hillary was said to be in doubt. “Huma has a choice to make,” New York magazine quoted a “close associate” of Abedin’s as saying. “Does she go with Anthony, or does she go with Hillary?” The magazine described Abedin as “traumatized” by the prospect of leaving the inner sanctum. One year later, Abedin’s marriage to Weiner appears intact, and her role in Hillary’s camp is secure. As Clinton’s personal chief

The forecast is for people, and lots of them. The People’s Climate March is expected to bring more than 100,000 people who want to save the planet to the city Sunday. The march to address climate change, billed as the largest in history, is occurring two days before President Obama and world leaders attend a summit dealing with the same issue at the United Nations. U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon — who has fought passionately against global warming — along with celebrities, CEOs and activists are expected to descend on the city for the massive event.
