President Barack Obama sent no White House representative to the memorial Mass held yesterday in Rochester, New Hampshire, for James Foley, the American journalist beheaded by the Islamic State in Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) terrorists. President Obama, however, did send three White House aides to Monday’s funeral for Michael Brown, an 18-year-old African American fatally shot in an encounter with a white police officer in Ferguson, Mo. The memorial mass for James Foley took place Sunday at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in Foley’s hometown. Connie Hammond, an administrative assistant at Holy Rosary,

Comments:
Sadly, no surprise here. Especially when an American was kidnapped, tortured, and brutally murdered in a REAL "hate crime," from a terrorist organization overseas. Where is the FBI investigating and bring perp(s) to justice? Truthfully, as a Catholic, it looks like James Foley had plenty of the right representatives from our Church. R.I.P.

#6 beat me to it.

Mr. Foley was a hard working Christian who loved his country. That is clearly not one of the Americans that Øvomit sees as his constituency. The same can be said for the Marine stuck in jail down in Mexico (that our current Commander In Chief won´t give the time of day to).

Now a drug fueled thug (the tape doesn´t lie) that attacked a police officer is exactly the type of constituent that Øvomit most closely relates to.

Besides, Mike could have been Øvomit´s son, and James was way too responsible to be related to Øvomit...

Washington - Hillary Rodham Clinton has spent the past several months discussing her foreign policy record as secretary of state, but on Thursday she officially dived back in to kitchen table issues during a panel discussion about equal pay for women, affordable child care and paid sick leave. “The difference women and men face in getting the kinds of jobs that will provide the kind of income they need for themselves and their families is roiling beneath the surface of the political debates,” Mrs. Clinton said. The pivot to domestic issues comes as Mrs. Clinton contemplates another run for president

The first person to buy an iPhone 6 in Perth, Australia, immediately dropped it onto a concrete floor on live TV. Early adopter Jack Cooksey was being interviewed outside Perth´s Apple Store by a morning television reporter, eager to show the world one of the first of the new iPhones in the wild. But such was his excitement, he opened the box a little too vigorously, and the costly device slipped out and onto the pavement. It didn´t seem to be damaged, and Jack said "It's all good" - but it hit the ground with such force it's hard to imagine it escaping without a scratch, at least. Jack told the Perth Sunday Times, "I dropped

A bright fireball that flashed across the night sky in the US earlier this month was more than likely a Russian spy satellite falling from orbit, meteorologists say. As it flew over the Rockies at roughly 10.30pm on 2 September (UTC: 3 September at 4.25am), 38 people reported witnessing the “slowest and brightest” meteor shower they’d ever seen. However, not all is as it appears, after Mike Hankey, the American Meteor Society’s Operations Manager explains that it was probably pieces of a spy satellite that had fallen from orbit and had broken up over Colorado and Wyoming – something the Russians deny.

Atlanta - The message from a furious public to the National Football League over the past few weeks has been clear: Charges of domestic violence should have serious consequences. But in a sign that the outrage has expanded, a federal judge in Alabama on Thursday faced abrupt and potent pressure to resign after he was charged with striking his wife last month at a luxury hotel here. Although District Court Judge Mark E. Law enforcement agencies in Ferguson, like hundreds of others, had received military equipment at no cost under the Excess Property Program.
