Obama is STILL all smiles as he returns to
the White House after relaxing in Martha´s
Vineyard amid ISIS and Ferguson crises

President Barack Obama´s summer vacation off the Massachusetts coast has come to an end. The president returned to the White House late Sunday after spending two weeks with his family on the island of Martha´s Vineyard. What a break it turned out to be. His attempt at rest and relaxation was largely overtaken by events involving Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria, including the videotaped execution of an American journalist they had been holding hostage, and the unrest in Ferguson, Missouri, following the fatal police shooting of an unarmed black man. Obama broke from his vacation to deliver statements on Iraq,

I can´t understand why anyone would think Dear Leader´s behavior lately has been "callous" or "out of touch". Consider: the GOP has assured him that no matter what he does, no matter how irresponsible or damaging his behavior, no matter what crimes he commits, he will never, ever be impeached. Wouldn´t you be smiling, too?

Obama wasn´t all smiles upon returning from yet another lavish vacation. He was visibly upset, and rightly so, that another African American man was cruelly shot. Yes, the founder of Death Row Records, Suge Knight, was shot at a pre-party for a music awards gala in Los Angeles. Obama´s first words to his awaiting staff reflected his shock and disbelief, "Will the shooting mean we have to cancel Wednesday´s hip hop party at the WH? If yes, break the news slowly to Michelle."

If it weren´t so disgusting, the asse-press article would be hilarious! So, his "attempt" at rest and relaxation were overtaken by EVENTS that HE caused?? Seriously? He "broke" from his vacation to go to a BACHELOR party for the w.h. CHEF and to drop off his elder daughter so she could be with HER friends, like mom and dad! Everyone in D.C. KNOWS this, except the asse-press?? I am so sick and tired of being insulted by the sycophants in the so-called "media", it is almost impossible to read their tripe! Cannot wait ´til November!

Unarmed black man ?

A 300 pound black criminal has bulk and killer hands. He is a weapon in himself.

This criminal made a conscious decision to advance on an armed police officer and ignore all commands to stop. He kept coming after 4 hits in the arm area so he showed intent to do bodily harm to the officer.

When Anthony Weiner’s mayoral campaign imploded last year amid new sexting revelations, the fallout buffeted his wife, longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin. Clinton’s inner circle was furious with Weiner, and Abedin’s role with Hillary was said to be in doubt. “Huma has a choice to make,” New York magazine quoted a “close associate” of Abedin’s as saying. “Does she go with Anthony, or does she go with Hillary?” The magazine described Abedin as “traumatized” by the prospect of leaving the inner sanctum. One year later, Abedin’s marriage to Weiner appears intact, and her role in Hillary’s camp is secure. As Clinton’s personal chief

SALEM, N.H. — Voters have soured on President Obama. National and statewide trends favor Republicans. And here in his new home state, Scott Brown’s truck is gaining speed. Analysts and recent polls have found Brown closing in on US Senator Jeanne Shaheen, the Democratic incumbent he is vying to unseat, in a race that has become increasingly nasty and expensive. Once largely dismissed by critics as an unlikely second act in a state he moved to only last year, Brown’s Senate bid is increasingly seen as a plausible path back to the US Capitol. A new study from Johns Hopkins University suggests exactly what many conservative activists have been complaining about for years: Washington is out of touch with the rest of America. From Johns Hopkins: Surveying 850 people who either work in government or directly with it, researchers found that the inside-the-Beltway crowd has very little in common with America at large. Washington insiders are more likely to be white. They are more educated. Their salaries are higher, they vote more and have more faith in the fairness of elections. They are probably Democrat and liberal. They more diligently follow the news. And they think

America is silently acquiescing to President Obama’s extraordinarily expensive and flawed plan to fight Ebola in West Africa. Tuesday, Obama announced he is committing $763 million dollars and 3,000 military personnel to taming the outbreak that so far has killed 2,400 people. Though help is urgently needed there, the plan does too little to protect Americans. Obama said nothing about temporarily banning commercial air travel between the U.S. and West Africa, in order to help prevent Ebola from coming here. Some 220,000 residents of West African countries have visas that permit them to enter the United States.

Late yesterday, the Kansas supreme court granted the writ of mandamus filed by former Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Chad Taylor and ordered Kansas secretary of state Kris Kobach to remove Taylor’s name from the November ballot. The court dismissed Kobach’s claim (explained in an earlier NRO post) that Taylor failed to comply with the state statute (K.S.A. 25-306b(b)) that requires a candidate who wants to withdraw to certify that “they are incapable of fulfilling the duties of office if elected.” Taylor sent a letter
