Obama back at White House
after summer ´vacation´

Associated Press, by Darlene Superville

Original Article

WASHINGTON— The "vacation" is over and it´s back to the White House for President Barack Obama. Obama, who returned to Washington late Sunday after two weeks on the Massachusetts island of Martha´s Vineyard, will have to decide whether the recent beheading of an American by Islamic State militants is reason enough to take a step he has long resisted taking. Obama has avoided intervening militarily in Syria for three years despite the rising death toll in the country´s civil war, the government´s use of chemical weapons against civilians and the rise of the Islamic State group amid the chaos there.

To waste trillions of dollars or blame Bush? To corrupt the IRS or choose the five iron? To praise Islam or denounce bitter clingers? To stoke racial hatred or appoint a communist? To cover-up Benghazi or alienate Israel?

Whichever, it´s always a Gutsy Call.

With the window closing in on Democrats the only honorable course for the president is to involve the US in a full blown war with the Asian hoards and just to
make sure they have a place to park their boats an EO giving the Gitmo base back to Cuba.
This will give the next Republican president a full plate come January 20, 2017.

..come Monday, it´s time for Barry to get back to the real world, at least until next weekend´s golf game...

...I sit here thinking of the old cliché, "waiting for the other shoe to drop"...

...trouble is, Barry´s a centipede, there will be much in the months ahead, to get depressed about...

...from now till November, it will be full frontal attack with his last grasps at a "legacy"...

How do Islamic extremists fire up the troops? Poems about virgins, of course. During a investigation into home-grown terrorists, the FBI monitored communication between two Boston Muslims, Tarek Mehanna and Ahmad Abousamra. Mehanna would be charged with aiding al Qaeda and given 17 years in prison, Abousamra fled the US before arrest, and is now serving as chief propagandist for ISIS. Abousamra posts beheading videos to the Internet, and promotes them on social media. He’s one of the FBI’s most wanted. One of the messages between Mehanna and Abousamra was a 2008 poem written by

The good news about this documentary is that we can be sure it will be free of any political advocacy since Burns has no bias and.....Huh? Am I kidding? Of course I am. The fact is despite Burns´ laughable denials, he is a bitterly partisan Democrat to the extent that he gave a speech in 1998 in which he declared himself to be a "Yellow Dog Democrat." The speech was also chock full of scathing attacks upon Republicans which makes his later

The White House published a statement reacting to the decapitation of British Journalist David Haines at the hands of ISIS Saturday night: "The United States strongly condemns the barbaric murder of UK citizen David Haines by the terrorist group ISIL. The Islamic State has released a video claiming to show the beheading of British captive David Haines. The father-of-two, an aid worker, was abducted by militants in Syria last year. He appeared at the end of a video showing the beheading of US journalist Steven Sotloff earlier this month. In the video, which has been posted on sites such as YouTube, the extremists also threaten to execute another Briton. Islamic State (IS) extremists had threatened to kill Mr Haines and have not responded to any of the family´s attempts to make contact so far, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) said.

Hillary Clinton has revealed that she worked through her husband’s affair whilst he was President by making him go through an agonising ´truth and reconciliation´ process. The former US Secretary of State said that she forced Bill Clinton into South Africa-style hearings where he had to be completely honest before she forgave him. She said she was inspired by the country´s former leader Nelson Mandela and that she had to act otherwise she would remain in a mental ´prison´ for the rest of her life. Mrs Clinton, 66, has rarely spoken about her husband’s infidelity with White House intern Monica

It was supposed to be a somber occasion with guests mournfully remembering the passing of Joan Rivers during the funereal Jewish custom of ´sitting shiva,´ a seven-day period after death when relatives and friends gather to remember a loved one. But this was, after all, the legendary Joan Rivers — and in the end, the Friday event in Los Angeles turned out to be a star-studded celebration filled with fun memories, irreverence and much laughter. ´It was weird to be at an event like that and have a good time, but I think Joan would probably want something like that,´

Washington - Were it any other US president in recent memory, delivering a rousing White House address promising to "vanquish" the bloodthirsty militants of the Islamic State from the face of the earth would be dismissed as the "easy part". Recall Joe Biden, the vice president with half an eye on a run for the top job in 2016, promising to follow Isil "to the gates of hell" after the beheading of a second US journalist, and you get the picture of just how easy it can be. But as Mr Obama admitted last week with a faint whiff of

As Islamic State fighters from Syria blitzed across northern Iraq this summer, they swept thousands of fresh recruits from Iraqi Sunni tribal militias, prisons and insurgent groups into their ranks, nearly tripling the size of their armed force and catching U.S. authorities by surprise, U.S. intelligence officials said Friday. Dismantling the lethal new alliances in Iraq will be a key focus as the Obama administration scrambles to push back the fast-growing extremist army, which has achieved major military gains, shows sophisticated command and control, and is exceedingly well-funded, the intelligence officials said. Ted Cruz is not the first name on everyone’s list when one thinks of restoring decorum to politics and public discourse. Yet Cruz, the famous GOP firebrand who is Texas’ junior senator, did just that in a recent speech to a group calling itself In Defense of Christians. In his address, Cruz reiterated his strong support for Israel – hardly an outlier opinion for a member of Congress, particularly in the current political environment – and asserted, “Christians have no greater ally than Israel.” Again, this is not a provocative thing to say. Qua speech, Barack Obama’s address Wednesday on the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria was surprisingly terrible: a disorganized mess, insincere and unconvincing. To appreciate just how bad and bizarre it was, compare the president’s speech announcing a new air campaign in Iraq and Syria to Dwight Eisenhower’s 1958 statement on his decision to intervene in Lebanon with 14,000—14,000!—troops. The statement contains no chest-thumping about America’s leadership in science and medicine. No pivot to the auto industry and medical research. Eisenhower simply explained what had been done, and why.

The report by the California Attorney General´s office is the first time the data has been broken down according to race and income levels. Officials say such data is needed to address the problem. Poverty and suspensions are contributing factors. Overall, more than 250,000 elementary school students missed 10 percent or more of the 2013-2014 school year or roughly 18 or more school days. Check your hygiene privilege. Cabbies who smell badly are probably just oppressed folks who came directly from their terrorist training camp to the airport and didn’t have time to change. Body odour is among 52 criteria that officials at San Diego International Airport use to judge taxi drivers. Cabbies say that smacks of prejudice and discrimination. It does discriminate between cabbies who smell like an open sewer and those who don’t. It further prejudges what a good smell is.
