Who was the real Michael Brown? The kid
from a broken home who beat the
odds to get into college, the rapper who
sang about ´Feds´ and smoking weed,
or the robbery suspect caught on video

It is two weeks since Michael Brown was shot dead in the street by Ferguson City police officer Darren Wilson. (Snip) But as the protests subside, another conflict has begun to emerge. Because it isn´t only witness accounts of what happened that day that are at odds. It is the version of the victim himself that has become increasingly hard to square with his family´s insistence that this 6ft4 292lb teenager was nothing but a ´Gentle Giant´. They slammed the release of footage of Michael taking part in a strong-arm robbery just moments before the fatal shooting as unrelated and

FTA:

He rapped in matter-of-fact tones about smoking weed at 9 and having sex since 12. He rapped about all the ´baby daddies who don’t pay child support´ and do jail time. His own father was prosecuted for being more than 12 months in arrears on child support in 2012 and in 2007 plead guilty to a drugs possession felony for marijuana that carries a sentence of 5 years in jail.

Article also says he had no police record as an adult. He was just 18. So, what came before that?

Pastor Ewing said he was "turning his life around". What was that all about?

The video showed a big man who was used to using his size to bully smaller persons. A not-gentle giant.

Meanwhile here is a friend´s description of Officer Wilson:

The Ferguson police officer who has gone into hiding after being named as the cop who shot Michael Brown is not a "cold-blood murderer" as depicted by his harshest critics, but a man without a temper who is "struggling" with the aftermath of the shooting, his friend told ABC News.

All I can base my opinion on is the tape, and the tape doesn´t lie. He was a bully thug. And he was a thief.

And, if the rumor is correct, he was a violent thug who attacked a cop and tried to steal his gun.

And so he got shot to death.

Time will tell, but that is what I know, and what I believe based on the facts that have been presented to me at this point...

Where are the facebook photos ?
His record before he was 18 ?
TM´s mother could have written the article and picked the baby pictures.

In the meantime, a cop who went to work just like any other day has his life destroyed and has to stay in hiding.

Thanks Zippy. /s

I can remember a day when police officer´s were looked up to. They do their duty every shift to protect us from the likes of Michael Brown yet in a twisted way Brown is portrayed to be this poor, innocent, big hearted black kid that likes rap music and wouldn´t hurt a flea. His so called "murder" was a call to arms in the black community. It gives them a reason to vent their hatred of the cops and the in what they perceive as an unfair justice system. Why wait for all the facts when it´s more convenient to cause "whitey cop" of unjustifiably shoting poor Michael in the back. Add the professional racists, Al Sharpton and Jesse "Baby Daddy" Jackson to the mix and you´ve got the perfect storm of "black rage" incitement. To hell with gathering all the facts in the case, convict Officer Wilson now. Right Governor Nixon? Nixon made it perfectly clear that officer Wilson must be vigorously prosecuted even prior to the conclusion of the investigation. Nixon, in typical Democrat style, is race baiting for political gain. If Nixon was rushed by a 6´4", 300 pound man in a threatening manner he´d curl up in the fetal position and cry like a little girl at a Justin Beiber concert.

I think we all know why this has happened - socialism has taken the spine out of so many people by creating a malignant dependency upon government. Under these conditions, what incentive is there for fathers to stick around once their job as parent has been rendered useless? Schools indoctrinate rather than teach, society no longer demands even a modicum of respect for institutions i.e. church, scouting, volunteer work etc. ergo restless youth become wild and ungovernable and adopt the meme that society owes them.

While I give Officer Wilson the benefit of the doubt, I don´t think it´s necessary to demonize Michael Brown. Yes, you could call him a bit of thug if you insist though there isn´t much evidence of it beyond the video; he had no record. Yes, he smoked some weed. A lot of L-dotters smoked a certain amount in our youths as well. He did a lot of things kids from lower class black communities and also a things a lot of white kids from good homes do. But he wasn´t in a gang, had managed to graduate from high school and was heading for an honest career. I saw his sister on the news a while the rioting was going on. She was not a ghetto type and was sincerely distressed about the rioting and said that is not what Michael would have wanted. I was touched by a photo of his mom at his funeral. Trayvon´s mother she isn´t even though she may be following a similar path. There were only 3 black cops in Ferguson - pretty odd, wouldn´t you say, given the fact that 67% of its citizens are black?

#8, Ferguson has only been majority black for a few years. In 2000, it was majority white by a significant margin. Are they supposed to fire all of the white police officers and hire black ones because the demographics of the community changed over the last few years?

When did telling the truth about someone who has been misrepresented become "demonizing"?

This man has been represented as a "gentle giant", just a big kid who wouldn´t hurt a fly. But our eyes tell us something different.

They´ve turned a mild mannered officer ´ doing his duty, into a cold-blooded murderer. Now that´s demonization.

Too bad the race hustlers want extortion rather than real improvement in the black community. If they had chosen to use Brown´s story as a cautionary tale, don´t steal, don´t challenge a police officer, then more Brown´s would not be standing in the wings. But they chose to exonerate Brown´s crimes to fit the narrative whose only natural conclusion is more crime and more dead youths.

Poster #11, about halfway down the article, 2 inches below the picture of Michael frowning in a blue and red stripped shirt, it says he was already enrolled in Vatterott Technical College. While I have never attempted to enroll there, and do not know for certain, I think it is more a for-profit organization (with outlets in many states)...if one has the cash (or can get a "student" loan) for the tuition, one is enrolled, regardless of one´s grade point average or test scores.
