´Israel Can´t be Bullied

Bruce Blakeman, a candidate for the Fourth Congressional District of New York, will be visiting Israel this week. Ahead of the visit, Blakeman and Congressman Peter King, who will be part of the trip as well, told Arutz Sheva that they support Israel’s right to defend itself from Hamas’s rocket attacks. “Hamas is a deadly enemy. Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. It’s our strongest ally in the Middle East, if not the entire world, and we should not be putting any restrictions on Israel at all,” said King, who added that he was disappointed in President Barack

Not really #1 because that is what Barry is trying to do.
Too bad he can´t be trusted because Israel would have taken Foley´s killer out for him.
Like the old Canadian Mounties the Israeli covert agency never gives up.
The SAS won´t either. Will our forces be allowed to search?

Agree w #1. But, also, Israel can not afford to keep responding to thousands of $8.00 rockets with $30,000.00 bombs and $2,000,000.00 cruise missiles. Eventually, there will be a cost override on her activites that will result in one of two things...a total stop to Israel´s response, or a total invasion and take over of Gaza and eradication of Hamas. Only one option results in stopping the rocket bombardment of Israel. Israel must know the sooner she reacts with the right decision the sooner it ends.

Give everyone in Gaza 24 hours to leave.

Them proceed with bombing it into rubble for a 100 mile wide swathe.

Bulldoze what is left.

Then call it a DMZ, mine it, and warn anyone who goes into the Gaza DMZ that they will be killed without prejudice.

It works in Korea, so why not in Gaza!!!

Iran´s Deputy Chief of Staff has said that soldiers from the Islamic Republic were operating "in the field" together with Palestinian terrorist groups. Speaking to a group of senior military officers in Tehran on Saturday, Major General Gholam Ali Rashid appraised the extensive support Iran was providing for its proxies throughout the region. "Some of our commanders are in the field to give military advice to the Iraqi army, Lebanon´s Hezbollah and the Palestinian resistance movement," he said, according to the semi-official Fars News. Iran has long been a key sponsor of terrorism against Israel, providing funding and arms to a wide

The support of Parliament for British participation in air strikes in northern Iraq is welcome but leaves crucial questions unanswered. The most serious flaw in the international response to the Islamic State threat is the failure to see Iraq and Syria requiring a common military and political strategy. The Islamic State terrorists have, effectively, abolished the international border between these two countries. To some extent this has been recognised by the United States, which has launched air strikes against terrorist targets in both countries. These air strikes, over a period of weeks, are likely to have a serious degrading effect on the terrorist

There is a sense of relief across the political spectrum that Britain is finally doing something in Iraq. It was impossible to tolerate the advance of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) any longer, and now the UK finds itself part of an international effort with parameters of action that, the public is assured, will not lead to long-term troop presence or nation-building. Thanks in part to a rigorous parliamentary debate, the British people understand why they are in Iraq somewhat better than they did in 2003. [Snip] But what will happen next? It is obvious that Mr Cameron would have preferred Britain to have joined the wider

There are two fairly obvious ways that David Cameron might present himself this week in his last party conference speech before the general election. [Snip] By calling for a united stand against the real enemy of the values we all share as a nation, Mr Cameron could make a few of his domestic political enemies look like trivial distractions at a time of danger. Last, and certainly not least, this is a stance in which he is palpably sincere and eloquent. He truly believes that Britain should be actively engaged in the fight against terrorism, and can speak to that effect with impressive force. Yes, there is a lot to be said for a “war leader” pitch.

We’re being had. Again. For six years, President Obama has endeavored to will the country into accepting two pillars of his alternative national-security reality. First, he claims to have dealt decisively with the terrorist threat, rendering it a disparate series of ragtag jayvees. Second, he asserts that the threat is unrelated to Islam, which is innately peaceful, moderate, and opposed to the wanton “violent extremists” who purport to act in its name. Now, the president has been compelled to act against a jihad that has neither ended nor been “decimated.” The jihad, in fact, has inevitably intensified under his counterfactual

When the U.S. military strikes, its leaders often choose colorful code names for the operation that sometimes stick in history, like Operation Overlord or Rolling Thunder or Desert Storm. Not this time. The U.S.-led air campaign against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria doesn´t have a name. "I know of no plans at this point to name it," Pentagon spokesman Rear Adm. John Kirby said Thursday. Since World War II, almost every U.S. military operation, large and small, has had a code name. And that name usually sticks when veterans talk about the conflicts in which they participated, such

Political pollsters have a tough job. They have to create formulas to determine if the person they are interviewing is likely to vote, and it is within this calculation that their reputations are made. Typically, those who are likely to vote in an off-year election are pretty set. They are the people who always vote in elections — with some motivated by specific issues. In a wave election, the number of those motivated by specific issues escalates, changing the electoral landscape as the candidates who are beneficiaries of this increased participation sweep to victory. The 2014 election is rapidly looking like something new
