Obama’s golf outing after Foley
beheading was a huge mistake

New York Post, by Michael Goodwin

Original Article

Sometimes a round of golf is just a round of golf. And sometimes it reveals the essence of a man. President Obama’s decision to hit the links and yuk it up with pals immediately after speaking about the beheading of James Foley was no ordinary mistake. Nor was it a simple gaffe. The decision continues to cause an uproar because, like an X-ray, there is no escaping the image. It shows there is no there there. With even his media praetorian guard appalled, the golf outing is sparking a wider understanding that Obama is hollow, empty of the routine qualities Americans expect from

Not only does he not care what America thinks, I´d say it´s more like an in your face end zone dance celebrating the fact his plan is working. The Islamic State...the caliphate...is starting to roll. Fist bump, baby!

That photo of the fist-bumping, open-mouthed, carefree Obama should be the GOP´s campaign ad along with a photo for each scandal. Finish with "America alive or Democrat liberalism dead. You choose."

But this golf-photo is, hands down, the most effective and the most offensive. I am waiting for a presser where he talks about "hiding his grief".

With even his media praetorian guard appalled, the golf outing is sparking a wider understanding that Obama is hollow, empty of the routine qualities Americans expect from their president.

I would amend the last sentence to read, "...expect from decent human beings."

What I like is that these questions are now being asked, not ignored.

As commander in chief, Obama swore to defend the nation. Yet the rise of the demonic cult calling itself Islamic State has barely stirred him.

Remember his own words, “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” Not taking that seriously is a grave miscalculation.

...continued

With fellow Democrats faulting him, and with threats to America multiplying, it is impossible to excuse his conduct on the grounds of ignorance. If he only knows what the public sees, that would be more than enough to develop a strategy.

The above is particularly damning because the logic of it is not impeachable. He has no strategy for anything. But his surrogates do. And because he isn´t running the show, we have a shadow government in the White House.

Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, called it “an organization that has an apocalyptic, end-of-days strategic vision that will eventually have to be defeated.”

So long as Obama must take the responsibility for bombing the snot out of "the Islamic State", it won´t happen. He will never personally order strikes against his own people.

He doesn’t care about politics. The raid was revealed to protect the only thing he does care about: himself.

Bada-bing. That is easily seen among the ruins of his presidency.

All this indicates (is) that Zippy and his handlers have come to believe that the situation is now ´safely´ beyond the need for pretenses. This is very ominous. Either they believe the damage is now irretrievable or arrangements are in place to keep them in power indefinitely. I use the word them because it might explicitly include 0bama or may not. Something to chew over.

Obama has never been held accountable for any of his actions. However, as we all learn in life, actions have consequences. The optics of that golf outing is seared into the minds of Americans. Many witnessed the horrific barbarity that took the life of Jim Foley and were revolted by the image. Obama may have been able to skate on this one with the media but America is outraged by his callous tone deaf behavior. He made a huge error. He let the American people and the world see exactly who he is which is a self-serving, fraud who didn´t have the decency to, at the very least, hide his frat-boy compulsion to play golf for one day. He not only teed off immediately, he allowed himself to be photographed laughing and fist bumping. The content of Obama´s character is shameful and his heartless conduct proves it. He is a typical narcissist, totally self-focused and incapable of feeling empathy for anyone. He is a disgrace.

My take on this comes from opinions and comments I have read from other articles. A lot of people are justifying this with Obama "needs a vacation" and I suppose I will give him that. Reluctantly only to make my point.

The fist bump is what rattles me. He claims to be a sensitive guy but I don´t know him. Thus, my opinions come from pictures. Why the fist bump when he knows someone is probably taking a picture? Is it truly a celebration of the golf game or is there more? Questions arise even more so. His loyalty to America mostly.

Unfortunately the word ´shame´ and the word ´Obama´ are not to be uttered in the same sentence. This is the 11th commandment of our beloved media. This is a man who has been catered to, fawned over, and fainted for over his political career. Why would anyone think he would take a beheading as something serious? Doesn´t involve him, so off to the links and see ya later.

And one more think to ponder about: If you add up all the things Bammy has done to undermine the country: IRS, Eric HOlder, illegal EO´s, releasing Taliban leaders, etc..etc.. Who here wants to wager that he would NOT get reelected again if he were to run? Herein lies our problem.

Finally, after six long years something Barry has done provokes outrage - who knew that all it took was a simple fist-bump during a golf game?

BTW, is it just me or does Valerie Jarrett´s cousin, Cyrus Walker, look an awful lot like Barry in the picture? Might he be able to pose as Barry´s double when Barry is otherwise engaged? If all that the double has to do is ride in the limo and wave at the crowds, I suspect no one would know.

A couple of observations about Obama´s obsession with golf...for someone who is also so obsessed with race, I find it fascinating that he is so obsessed with a "rich" white man´s sport that originated in Scotland...doesn´t exactly mesh with "Dreams from my Father." Wonder what Bill Ayres thinks. I also find it fascinating that he constantly golfs with very rich BLACK men. It was just a few years ago that he loved a good pick up basketball game -- the game of the streets -- and now it´s all golf all the time. I´m sure his peeps in Ferguson can relate.

One reason Obama may just be as giddy as a school girl before prom(the Jarrett cousin has a downright maniacal smile grin) is because he was behind the creation of Sunni ISIS. It would all makes sense.

The best way to defeat leftists when they start up their time machine, compare vacation hours of past presidents to Obama, is to mention to them Obama DOES NOT DESERVE to be on a vacation: He shredded the Middle East, crushed the US economy and has now opened the southern border to let in his illegal/terrorist buddies, just to name a few. He needs to be in DC working on these problems and if he does not want to be president anymore, resign and let someone else try. Lefties go silent.

Concentrating on Obama´s behavior (what he does and says), it´s not complicated.

His less-than-heartfelt statements about the Foley incident are examples of what is typically found on the left: Ideas (ideology) are far more important than people.

His escape to the golf course and his buddies temporarily diminishes the stresses and anxieties that come with his job (a disassociation that "protects" one´s ego or sense of self).

I suggest parents pull out any videos of the planes hitting WTC and the Pentagon, and the field in PA. and play them for their kids.

I remember not long after it happened, certain liberal groups thought it was a bad idea to keep showing footage; they claimed it was just too "upsetting" . I think it should be shown every day, still. Liberals will do ANYTHING to protect the false notion that we are safe.

Really great point #6.

Hitler laid out his strategies and philosophies explicitly in ´Mein Kampf´. Yet, everyone was shocked when he pursued them once he came into power.

When Obama said "I will stand with the Muslims", the vast majority of people believed that he did not mean what he said, inserting in their definition that what he really meant was "I will stand with the Muslims, as long as they do not harm Americans."

What if, like Hitler, Obama really said what he meant?

Oh, I don’t know. The explanation could be quite simple. You see it all the time. The last couple years before a guy retires, sometimes he emotionally checks out. He’s bored, uninvolved, and could care less what is happening in his colleagues’, employees’, or customers’ lives. When he is actually forced to put aside his travel brochures or fishing tackle catalogues or cabin floor plans or whatever he will occupy himself with the moment he is out the door for good, he only grudgingly goes through the motions, sometimes complaining the whole way. You get the bare minimum at most, and that’s on a good day.

And if you start with a president who was lazy and uninvolved in the first place, with a natural aversion to making decisions and a penchant for hogging the credit, blaming others when things go wrong, and giving people the finger on the side of his face like a snotty 12 year old, check-out time looks pretty ugly.

His post-Foley golf game may have been a “mistake,” but I doubt it was unintentional.

Resident Zero doesn’t give a damn for decency or propriety. He never has. There’s a black pit in his character where those traits should reside. Until now, though, he’s taken the trouble to pay lip-service to them – or at least to conceal, behind arguably ambiguous gestures, his contempt for all things American. (Did every nose-itch or stray eyebrow-hair really require on-camera attention from his middle finger?)

Today things are different. Dangerously different, as he apparently can’t even be bothered to fake it any longer. I fear that as his time in office grows shorter his essential nature will be further revealed. Whether it will take the form of craven, cringing catatonia or blind rage remains to be seen.

What´s most amazing about this empty word spouter is that he doesn´t even pretend to care about appearances. If GWB had indulged in such in-your-face pleasure seeking, especially after having just seen a video of an American citizen having his head sawn off with, essentially, a steak knife, the Mainstream Media would have been comparing him with Hitler and Kim Jong-il. And, tragically, 85% of black American--down from 95%--won´t let anything get in the way of their worship of this anti-American, the most divisive figure ever to occupy the White House.

Mr Goodwin´s fury has been righteous for some time, but he falls into the common trap of offering up Bill Clinton as a paragon of empathy to contrast with Obama.

Clinton´s ´I feel your pain´ was as false and cynical as anything Obama´s speechwriters have foisted on us. It is memorable not for its depth of feeling but for its obvious mendacity - particularly because pain is not transient. Clinton didn´t feel anyone´s pain because he couldn´t and, more to the point, he wouldn´t anyway.

The photo accompanying the article is appalling and alarming.
Barry´s new .ahem.." friend " Cyrus Walker looks as euphoric and ecstatic as Barry.
Men playing golf or tennis or other sports with other men don´t generally giggle and behave like a
romantic couple .
Valerie Jarrett , described as his mother figure , was the matchmaker between her cousin Cyrus and Barry.
She probably told him to go out and play while she runs the country.
Limbaugh insists on describing Barry´s increasingly bizarre public behavior as some sort of Machavellian feint.
While the rest of the world sees , as Goodwin aptly described
" ....an empty-headed frat boy, numb to the world.
Maybe that’s not just an appearance.
Maybe it’s the truth. Maybe that’s all there is. "
There are obvious conclusions from Barry´s accelerating
and abnormal public displays which must have been going on in private for years .
There aren´t any adults in his inner circle or else he is completely out of control.
Probably both.
The photos must be used by Republicans in November and tied to every Democrat.

Mark Levin said the other day that individuals don´t matter to Obama - only his overall philosophy of how he needs to remake the world into his vision of UTOPIA.

This of course is the communist point of view - we plebes don´t matter, and the people at the top don´t care because they exempt themselves from the utopia they´ve forced on the rest of us.

Our founders were so unusual in respecting the individual as the supreme entity instead of the faceless crowds who were forced by masters to follow a vision that overrode their own initiative.

Lois Lerner breaks silence
Politico, by Rachel Bade    Original Article

Employers won’t hire her. She’s been berated with epithets like “dirty Jew.” Federal agents have guarded her house because of death threats. And she’s spent hundreds of thousands of dollars defending herself against accusations she orchestrated a coverup in a scandal that has come to represent everything Americans hate about the IRS. Lois Lerner is toxic — and she knows it. But she refuses to recede into anonymity or beg for forgiveness for her role in the IRS tea party-targeting scandal. “I didn’t do anything wrong,” Lerner said in her first press interview since the scandal broke 16 months ago. “I’m

The Crumbling Climate-Change Consensus

The United Nations Climate Summit will begin in New York this Tuesday, but environmental activists didn’t wait. All day Sunday, they filled the streets of Manhattan for a march that featured Al Gore, New York City mayor Bill de Blasio, and various Hollywood actors. But they certainly didn’t act like a movement that was winning. There was a tone of fatalism in the comments of many with whom I spoke; they despair that the kind of radical change they advocate probably won’t result from the normal democratic process. It’s no surprise then that the rhetoric of climate-change activists has become increasingly

Obama readies vetoes as

If Republicans take control of the Senate as expected in November, President Obama may need to stock up on ink for his veto pen. The emboldened new Senate Republican majority will likely pass a flurry of bills aimed at dismantling Obama´s signature healthcare law, environmental regulations aimed at climate change, and executive orders on subjects both big and small. Obama, who has wielded his veto pen just twice since entering the Oval Office, would find himself in a vastly changed political landscape. Among other things, Republicans would force the president to either veto or compromise on rolling back parts of Obamacare, approving the

Obama Taps Star General to Build

Gen. Michael Nagata is promising to build a new force to destroy ISIS, but lawmakers worry he has been given an impossible mission. As lawmakers prepared to take a risky and fateful vote on Obama’s plan to train and equip the Syrian rebels, the man who assured them it could be done was Gen. Michael Nagata, Obama’s point man for the mission to build an ISIS-killing army in Syria. There are skeptics both inside and outside the government who doubt Obama’s new plan to arm the Syrian rebels can work. First of all, the administration has said for years that the moderate

The Rick Scott and Charlie Crist campaigns in Florida and the groups that support each of them have an almost incomprehensible amount of money. Experts predict $150 million or more will be spent this year to influence the choice of Florida’s next governor. Most of these millions are being spent on TV attack ads that grossly exaggerate the perfidy of the incumbent governor and of the former governor who would like his office back. (Of course it’s a real challenge to exaggerate the inconstancy and vacuousness of Crist. I’m not even sure it can be done. But perfidy is something else.) Ads

The enduring myth of

Washington Times, by Stephen Moore    Original Article

My seventh-grade son recently wrote a U.S. History paper extolling the virtues of President Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal. “It ended the Great Depression,” he wrote with great certainty. He’s only 12 and parroting what the history texts and his teachers told him. That’s his excuse. What’s Ken Burns’? Mr. Burns’ docudrama on the Roosevelts — for those who weren’t bored to tears — repeats nearly all the worn-out fairy tales of the FDR presidency, including what I call the most enduring myth of the 20th century, which is that FDR’s avalanche of alphabet-soup government programs ended the Great Depression. Shouldn’t there be

We understand why the family of one of the newsmen ISIS beheaded last month is bitter over Washington’s refusal to pay ransom to win his release. Still, the hard truth is that this refusal may help save many more lives by reducing the incentives for terrorists to take our citizens hostage in the first place. “Our government was very clear that no ransom was going to be paid” to rescue captured reporter James Foley, his mother, Diane Foley, told The New York Times. “It was horrible, and continues to be horrible.” Months before they murdered him, Foley’s kidnappers demanded cash and the release

Well, maybe they’re not really marching to end industrialized civilization. But given all the monumental exaggeration and hyperbole of which they are guilty, perhaps I can be excused a few small liberties while describing their goals. Tens of thousands of marchers from all over the world came to New York City to protest inaction on climate change. A “wake up call” they are calling it. In fact, at 12:58 Eastern time, there was to be a moment of silence followed by “a blare of noise — a symbolic sounding of the alarm on climate change — from horns, whistles and cellphone

Images emerging from the Middle East of beheadings and mass executions by the radical Islamic extremist group known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) are profoundly troubling. With the United States and its allies now committed to the fight against this rising threat, we have to take into account the result, which is the potential for an increased threat of an ISIS-inspired attack in New York. The recent call by ISIS on social media urging its followers to attack popular locations overseas such as Times Square only heightens this concern. Some say not to worry about ISIS as a

By the early 1930s, Herman J. Mankiewicz was a screenwriting genius who had secretly helped construct classic films such as “Monkey Business” and “Duck Soup” by the Marx Brothers and “The Wizard of Oz.” He was also, according to a new book by author Mark Bailey, a raging drunk who picked fights everywhere he went and insulted everyone from studio execs to actors in his films. Four teachings from Jesus

It was once said, “religion is designed to comfort the afflicted and to afflict the comfortable.” Jesus’ parables – short stories with moral lessons – were likewise designed to afflict, to draw us in but leave us uncomfortable. These teachings can be read as being about divine love and salvation, sure. But, their first listeners – first century Jews in Galilee and Judea – heard much more challenging messages. Only when we hear the parables as Jesus’ own audience did can we fully experience their power and find ourselves surprised and challenged today. Here are four examples of Jesus’ teachings that everybody gets wrong: 1.

With a smile on his face, George Zimmerman spent Saturday afternoon posing for photos, sharing hugs and shaking hands with gun enthusiasts at a firearms expo in Lake Mary. "It´s so odd to me," said Zimmerman, about the celebrity treatment he receives in public. "[But] it is appreciated." In his first interview with the Orlando Sentinel, Zimmerman described life after his acquittal last year in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. The former Neighborhood Watch volunteer shot the unarmed black teen in Sanford on Feb. 26, 2012. Now life for the 30-year-old is completely different. He´s always moving. He´s

After declaring war on the Tea Party and often showing nothing but contempt for grassroots conservatives that powered Republicans to record gains in the 2010 midterm elections, Karl Rove whined that the GOP may not take back the Senate this year because of the lack of enthusiasm for his establishment-approved candidates. Writing in the Wall Street Journal, Rove notes that even though Obama´s "job approval numbers are lousy, no Democrat in a competitive Senate race polls regularly above 50%, GOP enthusiasm is high, and independents are trending Republican... each passing day provides evidence as to why a GOP Senate majority is

Sarah Palin has come out in defense of her daughter Bristol who allegedly punched a man in the face during a family brawl. Shawn Donovan, director of the Office of Management and Budget, said on Friday that if you don’t believe in climate change and support federal spending to fight it, you believe the earth is flat. “The failure to invest in climate solutions and climate preparedness doesn’t get you membership in a fiscal conservatives caucus,” Donovan said at the Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C. “It makes you a member of the Flat Earth Society.” Donovan, who formerly ran the Department of Housing and Urban Development under President Barack Obama, is now in charge of the arm of the executive branch

CBS is putting its Hillary-inspired drama "Madam Secretary" on Sunday nights next to "The Good Wife." In Friday´s New York Times, TV critic Alessandra Stanley discussed the two shows and slammed Hillary. "Hillary Rodham Clinton is the obvious inspiration, but this is Hillary with a human face," she wrote. During the Cold War, reporters would suggest a kinder, gentler Marxist regime was "communism with a human face." Stanley continued: "Téa Leoni, who has a husky voice and a loose, engaging manner, is an unusually likable beauty. As Elizabeth McCord, she has all the brains and determination of the original and none

I know a lot of people are giddy at the prospect of Republicans taking the Senate this November, but that’s becoming less and less likely. It’s not because Democrats are rallying around a particular mission or set of candidates; it’s because Republicans and conservatives aren’t. It seems like I’m always writing on issues no one wants to hear are mistakes, such as messaging or social issues. But I don’t care. These things have to be said. If these columns are received like a gaseous cousin on a long car trip through the desert, so be it. Crack a window… If things continue on their current course, the GOP will not retake the Senate.

WASHINGTON — WHEN Willie Nelson invites you to get high with him on his bus, you go. The man is the patron saint of pot, after all, and I’m the poster girl for bad pot trips. It seemed like a match made in hash heaven. When Nelson sang at the 9:30 club in D.C. one recent night, I ventured onto the Honeysuckle Rose, as his tour bus and home-away-from-home is called. I was feeling pretty shy about meeting him. The 81-year-old Redheaded Stranger is an icon, one of America’s top songwriters and, as Rolling Stone said, “a hippie’s hippie and

Three and a half months have come and gone and the Pentagon has offered no clarity on what happened to alleged Army deserter and Taliban collaborator Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. Fellow soldiers and other critics fear the military’s now-delayed investigation is shaping up to be a whitewash. The case has become a political powder keg for President Obama. Since he traded five imprisoned Taliban leaders for Bergdahl, the US Government Accountability Office has declared the swap illegal, and nearly two dozen House Democrats have joined Republicans in officially condemning the move for making “Americans less safe.”

The man who jumped the White House railing Sept. 19 deserves the right to live in President Barack Obama’s home, just as the president is allowing hundreds of thousands of border-jumping Central Americans to live in Americans’ homeland, says a new tongue-in-cheek petition posted at the White House website. “We urge President Obama to immediately and publicly recognize that Mr. Omar J. Gonzalez, an oppressed migrant, was merely looking for a better life when he entered the White House after going over the classist, divisive and needless fence,” says the petition, which was authored by D.A. When Anthony Weiner’s mayoral campaign imploded last year amid new sexting revelations, the fallout buffeted his wife, longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin. Clinton’s inner circle was furious with Weiner, and Abedin’s role with Hillary was said to be in doubt. “Huma has a choice to make,” New York magazine quoted a “close associate” of Abedin’s as saying. “Does she go with Anthony, or does she go with Hillary?” The magazine described Abedin as “traumatized” by the prospect of leaving the inner sanctum. One year later, Abedin’s marriage to Weiner appears intact, and her role in Hillary’s camp is secure. As Clinton’s personal chief

SALEM, N.H. — Voters have soured on President Obama. National and statewide trends favor Republicans. And here in his new home state, Scott Brown’s truck is gaining speed. Analysts and recent polls have found Brown closing in on US Senator Jeanne Shaheen, the Democratic incumbent he is vying to unseat, in a race that has become increasingly nasty and expensive. Once largely dismissed by critics as an unlikely second act in a state he moved to only last year, Brown’s Senate bid is increasingly seen as a plausible path back to the US Capitol. Observers see a race that may be largely determined
