Just Moseying Around in BHO Land

Last week when I went to peruse the shelves at Barnes & Noble and used my educator card for a purchase, I was asked to show a photo ID. The next day, when I went for a planned medical procedure, I was required to display a photo ID. And finally, when I cashed a check at the local A&P, the cashier requested to see some identification. (snip) Late at night, I ponder why thousands of illegals are coming through the southern border and disappearing into the country, and I, a citizen of this country, need to prove that I am

Yesterday I stopped in Wal-Mart to pick up some Suda-Fed for my wife. I asked in the aisle and was referred to the Pharmacy window. The clerk informed me that I needed a photo ID to purchase it. When I mentioned it was for my wife she rolled her eyes and said "I did not hear that".

WE have gone nuts.

will someone explain why a person who most think should register to vote is said to be such a hardship for some. To register to vote, one talks to a real person, knows exactly how much is required to process the request and leaves with a document that is sound, has a record of application, is paid for, and is accepted everywhere, especially at the voting booth.

Now explain why a person must register for Obama Health Care, (required!) who does not always have access to a computer, or when phoning in to a service cannot be quoted the actual amount, isn´t really sure he/she is registered, cannot count on the insurance coming through after a procedure is done and the rules/regulations change daily depending on Obama´s using his pen or phone.

The laws of this country are being abused right and left and confusion and frustration is rampant. Who knew such an intelligent, college graduate from a prestigious college could be such a lousy organizer. Who Knew!

#4/5 - Those rules only apply to the law abiding. People demand "something be done", politicians and bureaucrats take it from there. It´s better when one can attach a child´s name and a sad story to the new law...Eileen´s Law regulating scrap metal transactions to prevent the spread of lockjaw among America´s children, proposed and lobbied by Mothers Against Lockjaw...no child should ever suffer from this insidious killer.

Every good cause becomes a racket...and often a tyrant.

How about the confirmed reports that TSA is allowing unidentified illegal aliens to fly aboard commercial aircraft. All they have to show is the permission slip (permiso) issued to them by the border patrol under the provisions of Obama´s catch and release program. If those illegal aliens, when caught, have no credible identification on their person, the border patrol must take for face value any name, date of birth, and nationality that the individual gives them and put that information on the permission slip. Remember illegal aliens come from all over the world. If you know the answer to 2 plus 2 you should be able to figure out that a lot of the identifying data given by illegal aliens is bogus and who those illegal aliens really are is anyone´s guess. Obama could care less as he knows that the vast majority of illegal aliens who eventually attain US voting rights become Democrat voters. Just another instance of the Obama crew elevating politics over national security.

As a Christian, I cannot take the law into my own hands, retaliate or even defend myself (although our nation allows it). I am to depend on the State to protect me, which has the authority AND responsibility to do so, according to Scripture. But our nation is failing miserably. Our leaders have other agendas that have nothing to do with protecting Americans.
As I see more and more immoral legislation pass, and a president that picks and chooses what laws he will enforce and what he won´t, I am reminded that I live in a foreign land that does not care about Christians, their morals or their God. Our nation that once worshiped God and based it´s laws on His moral standards has abandoned Him. We all love their rights guaranteed to us by God but the majority don´t want anything else of His. We can´t have it both ways and America is proving it every day.
Benjamin Franklin said that only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. Virtue does not exist in the lives of most Americans and it is on full display by the leaders we elect.
I had life pretty comfortable for many years, but I´m afraid that our lives of comfort are coming to an end... and we are the reason; we have elected officials that share our values... values that are in the tank.

There once was another land which God chose as his own. The people worshiped him and followed his ways for awhile but eventually they turned from him and adopted the pagan ways of their neighbors. Eventually God turned his back on them and they were overrun by their pagan neighbors.

Last night’s air strikes against ISIS in Syria used up 47 Tomahawk missiles. The Tomahawk is an extremely effective weapon, capable of delivering its ordnance precisely, without risking a pilot’s life. But the defense cuts of the Obama administration call for procuring only one hundred Tomahawks next year. Christopher Cavas of Defense News reported last May: Weapons procurement showed striking reductions from last year’s plans. Then, the Navy planned to buy 980 Tactical Tomahawks, the primary cruise missile in use throughout the fleet. The new plan shows only 100 missiles in 2015 and none thereafter.

Political pollsters have a tough job. They have to create formulas to determine if the person they are interviewing is likely to vote, and it is within this calculation that their reputations are made. Typically, those who are likely to vote in an off-year election are pretty set. They are the people who always vote in elections — with some motivated by specific issues. In a wave election, the number of those motivated by specific issues escalates, changing the electoral landscape as the candidates who are beneficiaries of this increased participation sweep to victory. The 2014 election is rapidly looking like something new
