CLAYTON, Mo. – Three black people are among the 12-member grand jury hearing evidence in the Michael Brown case. Paul Fox, director of judicial administration for St. Louis County Circuit Court, confirmed the racial and gender makeup of the grand jury on Friday. St. Louis County prosecutor Bob McCulloch has said it will be several weeks before a decision is made on whether to charge Darren Wilson, the Ferguson officer who shot and killed Brown on Aug. 9. The grand jury consists of six white men, three white women, two black women and one black man. Nine votes are needed

Comments:
Did APee think it was wise releasing this information when things have calmed down? How soon before they find out their names and addresses and publish those? If only they were as diligent in other matters.

The composition of this jury is racist! How can we get an "O.J. Verdict" with this kind of jury?

It´s been on the radio all afternoon. A Grand Jury sits for many months and hears many cases, not just this one, so this info probably has been known anyway. Their names are secret and I bet remain so.

I would fear for my life if I were on that grand jury and had an IQ above 40...

Need to add that this is not a trial jury so there is no "verdict", #1. All the Grand Jury does decide if there is enough question about the crime to hold a trial.

Well that was put together quickly. Is that normal for Missouri? I served on a grand jury and all the cases were 4 to 6 months old. It took time to gather and analyze evidence and collect testimony.

# 8 Since you have served on a Grand Jury some questions.

It has been said that a typical grand jury if pushed by a DA would indict a ham sandwich.

How much influence does the prosecutor in the grand jury outcome?

Since I have no grand jury experience I do not know what additional questions to ask, please fill in info that you think helpful to others like myself.

My guess is that this Grand Jury will vote to indict, thereby passing the real pressure, and any possible repercussions, onto the next level.

The radical activist black rabblerousers are trying to get rid of prosecutor McCullough (sp?) as his father, a police officer, was murdered by a black man.

If the tired old "ham sandwich" cliche is true, that is why they are trying to oust him.

Surprisingly some here don´t know the difference between a grand jury and a trial jury. Unbelievable. Go to the tutorial a few posts up front page and read up.

Tip: If the Grand Jury does not bring down an indictment (that´s what the black activists are worried about), the case is over. OVER.

McCulloch says it will take several weeks to reach a decision? I would think so. They don´t have all the evidence yet unless they´re lying to us.

The Grand Jury via NBC Nightly News is 25 % black, while St Louis County is only 18% black.
But..that won´t shut up the usual racists.
Again..blacks make up just 12 % of the US population, not 85% as CNN and Jesse Jackson and Sharpton and Don Lemon et al. would have you believe.

Ed Magee, the spokesman for county prosecutor Robert McCulloch, said they received the information from a “Twitter user” Wednesday morning. “We are looking into the matter,” he said. An account of possible jury misconduct surfaced Wednesday morning on Twitter, when several users sent messages about one juror who may have discussed evidence in the case with a friend. In one of those messages, a person tweeted that they are friends with

Even as President Obama´s campaign was congratulating itself for bringing U.S. troops home from Iraq, the leader of ISIS was declaring war on the U.S. homeland and promising an attack that would be worse than the one orchestrated by Osama bin Laden. On July 21, 2012 ISI, as ISIS was then called, released a recording of a speech by their commander Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. The speech and its contents were widely, if summarily, reported at the time.
