Sharpton on Eclipsing Jesse Jackson
in Ferguson: ‘Deal With It’

Mediaite, by Eddie Scarry

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 8/22/2014 10:42:24 AM

Rev. Al Sharpton sees himself as having surpassed Jesse Jackson as the face of modern civil rights battles and he’s not afraid to say so. “I think he’s (Jackson) now realized that he’s older now,” Sharpton says in a new Politico profile. “And he realizes that I’ve come into my own and he’s got to deal with it.” The profile looks at how Sharpton, an MSNBC host, transformed himself from local race agitator to a top player in politics and close adviser to the Obama White House. It homes in on Sharpton’s role in Ferguson, MO, the city rocked by the police

Comments:
Sharpton is an oily and disgusting hateful agitator. What he is doing is nothing short of criminal behavior. But that doesn´t matter because we know Holder and Obama support and encourage it. He´s as ugly on the inside as he is on the outside.

He talks about Jackson getting older but so is he and it shows more than he realizes. If you listen to this sorry sack of garbage he says the same things he said years ago.Never an original thought in his head. What keeps him in power is the mindlessness of his thuggish supporters.Sometimes I think he might be a Soros puppet

Have you seen crazy ole Al on TV. His head looks 2 sizes too big for his body. He looks like Star Jones´s older brother as she looks the same. This is just more proof that this "close" advisor to the Odumbo Spite House is sanctioned by the president and his corrupt AG Eric(the Red)Witholder. He says what they can´t say. That is something sane Blacks and others in this country "have to deal with". As for Jessie (Hymietown) Jackson if he and his other Justus Brotha are in a tiff pass me the popcorn because it will be fun to watch.

The Financial Times [subscription] is reporting that the US is poised to become the world’s largest producer of liquid petroleum (oil and natural gas liquids): US production of oil and related liquids such as ethane and propane was neck-and-neck with Saudi Arabia in June and again in August at about 11.5m barrels a day, according to the International Energy Agency, the watchdog backed by rich countries. With US production continuing to boom, its output is set to exceed Saudi Arabia’s this month or next for the first time since 1991. [...] Rising oil and gas production has caused the US

No physical required. A transgender teenager, who was born male but identifies as a female, can continue to use a women’s restroom and locker room at a Jefferson County Public School. A woman loses her life in a horrific act of terrorism while doing nothing more unusual than showing up for work, and Obama White House staff see the tragedy only through the narrow prism of their own diminished political fortunes… The complaint was reportedly uttered during a private DNC fundraising event earlier this week and within earshot of several others. A member of the Obama White House, allegedly after having a few drinks, responded loudly to the topic of the Oklahoma beheading tragedy by exclaiming how awful it was how they (the White House) “couldn’t catch a break.” Her words

A recent investigation has uncovered a shocking tale of corruption and adultery at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Susan Taylor, a longtime federal employee and Deputy Chief Procurement Officer at the Veterans Health Administration since 2010, not only used her position to award government contracts to a former business partner, and worked with said company to hide the thousands and thousands of dollars it was making off the government, but conspired with her married boyfriend — who also had close personal ties to the company — to thwart investigations into her misconduct. The salacious story began in 1994, when Taylor met William

The Obama administration does not share Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s view that the forces of militant Islam, whether Sunni or Shi’ite, have in common an ultimate goal “to dominate the world,” a State Department spokeswoman said Monday. In a hard-hitting speech at the United Nations, the Israeli leader said that entities such as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS/ISIL), Hamas, the Iranian regime, Hezbollah, al-Qaeda and Boko Haram share that eventual goal. Jen Psaki was asked at the State Department daily briefing later whether the administration agreed with Netanyahu’s argument that those various groups

WASHINGTON — The Senate’s minority whip is confident about Republicans being the majority in the 114th Congress — if conservatives can set aside differences and work to combat the massive influx of donor cash that has Democratic campaigns ahead in the money race. Only in the majority, Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) stresses, can conservatives make headway on tamping down overregulation, repealing and replacing Obamacare, securing the “chaotic” border, getting Keystone XL moving, and bringing civilized debate back to the upper chamber. And only by realizing the gravity of the battle for November, he argues, can Republicans relegate Harry Reid (D-Nev.)

ABC’s Jonathan Karl put White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest on the hot spot today about how President Obama could say the U.S. “underestimated” ISIS when several high-ranking officials warned of the threat months ago. And what Karl asked is whether this was underestimation on the part of the intel community or on the part of the president. Karl brought up congressional testimony last November from Assistant Secretary of State Brett McGurk. In his statements to the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee [PDF], McGurk spoke of multiple attacks ISIS had carried out last year, and explained how ISIS has been able to thrive: AQ/ISIL

For President Obama, the color of a man’s skin is far more important than the content of his character. On the night when a police officer was shot in a Missouri town torn by racial strife, the president donned a shiny tuxedo to attend a ritzy black awards dinner, where he said police nationwide are to blame for community mistrust, even claiming that “most Americans” think the country is racist. Remember, when Ferguson exploded in racial rage in August, Mr. Obama chose not to curtail his 15-day vacation, spending day after day on the golf course in the white-skinned, white-wined, millionaire playground

President Obama firmly believes the United States is better off now than when he took office, even though the American people cannot “feel” it. During an interview with 60 Minutes’ Steve Kroft, Obama said, “the country is definitely better off than when I came into office.” “When I came into office, our economy was in crisis,” Obama said. The president then cited lower unemployment, private sector job growth, and deficit cuts as evidence of his administration’s success. “I can put my record against any leader around the world in terms of digging ourselves out of a terrible, almost unprecedented financial crisis,” Obama said. Just two weeks into the new season of “The View,” co-hosts Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg tore into each other during a commercial break — in front of their stunned studio audience. O’Donnell refuses to wear an earpiece to stay in contact with producers while the live show is airing, so she had no clue it was time to stop talking.

Sacramento, Calif. - Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday signed legislation imposing the nation's first statewide ban on single-use plastic bags, driven to action by a buildup of litter and damage to aquatic ecosystems. A national coalition of plastic bag manufacturers immediately said it would seek a voter referendum to repeal the law, which is scheduled to take effect in July 2015. Under SB270, plastic bags will be phased out of large grocery stores starting next summer and convenience stores and pharmacies in 2016. The law allows grocers to charge a fee of at least 10 cents for using paper bags. State Sen. Alex Padilla, D-Los Angeles,

Here’s how to reinforce that belief: Sit out the 2014 congressional elections because your favorite candidate lost his primary bid to an establishment Republican. If you live in Kansas, for example, you can suck your thumb while Democrat ringer Greg Orman beats Republican Senator Pat Roberts. If you’re a Kentucky conservative, you can stay home and b***h about Mitch while Alison “Rubberstamp” Grimes heads to Washington.
