Terrorist horror, then golf:
Incongruity fuels Obama critics

New York Times, by Peter Baker and Julie Hirschfeld Davis

Original Article

Posted By:Fiesta del sol, 8/22/2014 5:49:46 AM

He had just hung up the telephone with the devastated parents before heading in front of the cameras. Unusually emotional, President Obama declared himself “heartbroken” by the brutal murder of an American journalist, James Foley, and vowed to “be relentless” against Islamic radicals threatening to kill another American. But as soon as the cameras went off, Mr. Obama headed to his favorite golf course on Martha’s Vineyard, where he is on vacation, seemingly able to put the savagery out of his mind. He spent the rest of the afternoon on the links even as a firestorm of criticism erupted over

It´s not Obama´s fault, he is totes heartbroken over this. It´s the fault of the ´critics.´

He is a Muslim. He defended Islam in his brief speech.
He did not express any emotion. His animation came with a fist bump on golf course.

How can anyone play that much golf day after day?

What a cheesy, cowardly way to do a lead in to a story. The Slimes doesn´t want to admit they´re appalled but only Obama´s critics, meaning republcans, when all kinds of liberals have spoken out about it also.

G-d help this country when this monstrous "administration" is finally exposed for what it is. There is a special place in he** for the nyslimes and the rest of them. Karma is a beautiful thing.

This is what we get with a pResident can´t even call islamic terrorism by name for what it is using euphamisms like "Overseas Contigency" instead of a war on terror.
Now we have very real blood-thirsty, humanity-hating, cut-throat, Hitler-loving, islamo-nazis roaming around setting the Middle East on fire with a stated goal of world domination and all we have is a buffoon fighting a war on Golf (have you seen him play?)!

#1 asks, "How can anyone play that much golf day after day?"

If I were on vacation with Michelle, I´d seek any possible means of escape. On every vacation they have taken together, they seem to require two jets to cart them around. Obie is forever trying to spend time away from her.

In the White House, Obie would rather hop a jet to a fundraiser than be within 100 yards of the woman.

This garbage newspaper (newspaper is hardly what it is though), the NY Times keeps begging me to subscribe with 75% off home delivery invites. And I just keep putting them directly into the trash. I wouldn´t subscribe to this pile of rubbish disguised as a newspaper if it were 100% off home delivery. What despicable journalism! What shameless reporting! This newspaper is precisely what they have been referred to as: White House stenographers.

When the subject is Obama, the NYT has the same total lack of shame as Obama.

Best example is the NYT´s editorial board explanation that "Obama misspoke" when he blatantly lied on at least 38 occasions about "If you like your plan and your doctors, you can keep them". The NYT realizes that Obama could never have passed his fraud of ObamaCare without lies, so this so called paper of record had to lie about the lying president. This article on Obama´s critics of his cruel golf game after his Foley comments is simply more of the same.

The Times was just as protective of Stalin when he was exterminating millions of his citizens who similarly thought that if they like their private farms that they could keep their farms. Like most leftists, the publishers of the NYT believe that their socialist ends justify any and all means.

Another NYT screed straight from the desk of Valerie Jarrett who I am sure thinks that cancelling golf games or fundraisers in the wake of horrible tragedies is an ´empty political gesture´. Obama´s so-called ´critics´ are far beyond the perimeters of Washington. A large majority of the country have become completely repulsed by him and the NYT is right. Obama does not care. No one should be surprised by anything this vapid POS says or does.

Obama doesn´t need to do anything but read what is written by someone else on his teleprompter. He leaves everything to Valerie. The Press called Karl Rove Bush´s architect, but don´t dare call Valerie Jarrett Obama´s architect and builder. She is the one calling the shots. She goes everywhere with him never leaving his side except on the golf course. It is time for the NYT et al to call her on her incompetence.

I do not agree. Obama is a narcissist par excellence´ and cares very much what people think, what his legacy will be. Note how the only thing he reliably does now (and earlier as well) is go to fund raisers, where crowds of adoring sycophants surround him and reaffirm his own view of himself. I suspect the real truth is that he has a ever narrowing group of "advisors" around him, Valerie Jarret et al. and is walled off from reality.....they tell him history will rate him as preeminent and never mind the mosquitos buzzing about now. I doubt that he even sees articles like this one in the Times, or if he does he is assured that it is meaningless, transitory, and that his real value will be acknowledged after he leaves the White House, as with Lincoln, etc. (Plus, he can rest easy knowing he will be very very rich, via the same sycophants and speeches, a la the Clintons.)

His apologists are laboring to convince somebody, anybody, that 0bama can care deeply and dance laughing at the same time.

When you think about it, it´s merely an extension of the "compartmentalizing" they promoted to excuse Bill Clinton´s activities as a sexual predator.

It´s the ideology, stupid.

"Unusually emotional"??? Did these writers watch Obama deliver that speech?

Presidents learn to wall off their feelings and compartmentalize their lives

I do not wish to be lectured to about how presidents "wall off their feelings", when anyone with eyes can see that Obama´s "feelings" are non-existent on this matter and other matters. He has a consistent pattern of coldness that permeates every speech he gives.

The only time he exhibits what can be called joy is when he is playing golf, eating junk food or being adored by the New York Times, who refuse to see his pathological chill.

To make coldhearted decisions in the best interest of the country...

Coldhearted is right, but the writers assume his decisions really are in the best interests of the country, which is inaccurate; look around America and the world at the economic and security carnage to see that his decisions are NOT in our best interests. He has made America and world worse off, not better.

And few presidents have been known more for cool, emotional detachment than Mr. Obama.

See, he´s cool-headed, not given to snap decisions, methodical, measured. That is how Obama has and is being spun. But that isn´t true either. He is cold, calculating, dithering, afraid of being found out to be uninformed in the ways of the world, and narcissistic to the point of paralysis -- inaction where action is needed. He cannot afford for his ego to be damamged. That is why there are so many layers between Obama and the real series of events -- placed there by Valerie Jarrett.

He is insulated. But he is not "walling himself off from emotion". He has none.

As usual, the "Bush meme" is dragged out. But there is an enormous difference: President Bush was serious about the fight against terrorism, which was one of the reasons the Left hated (and hates) him so much.

BO play-acts. You know he emulates his buds in Hollywood. They´re phonies. They know how to put on the show.

This is why he can wipe the corner of his eye and choke up, so strategically, go back behind the curtain, take off the costume of tragedian, and go out to frolic so gleefully.

(Bill Clinton was very good at this, too. Again, if journalists did their job, the phoniness would be exposed. And these shallow phonies would be shamed into oblivion-- or to Hollywood, where they belong.)

One reason that info was leaked it is to not only sabotage future hostage rescue missions but to also send the enemy a message that what they are doing is working and keep up the good work-we can´t outwit cha. Deplorable action by White House and quite predictable.

Just look at that smile, he´s definitely in his element. He looks like a neon ice cream sandwich. His leisure/loafing activities remind of someone who has committed a crime(s) and is now off enjoying the spoils, freedom, much like OJ Simpson. Obama is just so evil.

Several Ldotters have referred to ValJar as Barry´s adviser and a few other un-named advisers. However, I seldom see news of different high-level officials coming and going to the WH carrying briefcases and notebooks and appearing very serious.

In years past, there often were pictures of Bush43 and his cabinet sitting around a table (in the Cabinet room?) and supposedly discussing very serious issues etc. I can´t remember any such pictures of Barry and his Cabinet - then again, I don´t watch the alphabet networks. With Bush43 I never felt those things were "staged".

John Kerry dont you know who I am . He always sticks in my mind when this traitor dressed in his fatiques spent all 3 weeks of service in Viet Nam . Name calling his fellow comrades in arms before Congress.Secretary of defence a lap dog for Obama. Then he has Military adviser Susan Rice a Benghazi liar. Then we have this (D.N.I) James R Clapper the one who lied before Congress. This occupant in the White house is not for real. Vacation, he is entitled to one holiday however the beheading of a USA citizen should demand Obama get back to Wasington and sit down with non political foreign affairs consultants and get down to the next move againgst ISSUS.For goodness sake Mr President dont relay to the whole world of the failed attenpt to save Mr Foley. Obama mentioned this rescue to make political re-election points. You are really not interested in Mr Foley´s beheading. There are estimated at least 2000 Muslim UK Muslims fightng for ISSUS and it would not be dfficult for these Englisg speaking terrorists from simply just walking across our southern border with the flow of children. There is never a day passes that this President gets deeper into trouble and USA and its people vulnerable from Attack by well trained financed Jihadists such as ISSUS.

The AAP says pediatricians, who teens consider “a highly trusted source of sexual health information,” should recommend, in decreasing order of effectiveness, progestin implants, IUDs, injectable contraception, and oral contraception for use among adolescents. The doctors call oral contraceptives the least effective options

The GOP’s favorite punching bag in President Barack Obama’s Cabinet is calling it quits. After six years of hostile exchanges at congressional hearings, scores of lawmakers calling for his resignation and a historic House vote holding him in contempt, Attorney General Eric Holder announced Thursday that he plans to leave by the end of the year. Republicans didn’t even wait until the official announcement to pillory Holder and celebrate his exit — Rep. Jeff Duncan of South Carolina expressing “good riddance” and Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) “welcoming” the news of Holder’s departure, accusing him of attacking Louisiana. Rep. Darrell Issa

U.S. Sen. Kay Hagan prefers stairs to elevators and escalators. She shoots down congressional corridors so fast she leaves attending staff members struggling to keep up. The first-term North Carolina Democrat is known for being high-energy. On a typical Wednesday this summer, she was at the Capitol early for a closed Democratic strategy session, met one-on-one with visiting constituents for her weekly Carolina Coffee, chaired a hearing of one of the two Senate subcommittees she leads and got briefed by policy experts on her staff – and that was only part of her schedule.Every day is packed. But Hagan hasn’t written

Voter turnout during last month´s primary races was a little too good in some counties, Arizona elections officials said Friday. Some precincts in northern Arizona tallied more ballots cast than there are registered voters, the Arizona Capitol Times reported. According to officials, errors made by poll workers and elections officials in Apache and Navajo counties led to the miscalculations. Initial reports from some precincts showed a turnout of anywhere from 200 to 400 percent. In Apache County, the Puerco West precinct reportedly had 100 votes cast, but only 23 voters are registered there. The voter turnout added up to 434

WASHINGTON — The Senate’s minority whip is confident about Republicans being the majority in the 114th Congress — if conservatives can set aside differences and work to combat the massive influx of donor cash that has Democratic campaigns ahead in the money race. Only in the majority, Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) stresses, can conservatives make headway on tamping down overregulation, repealing and replacing Obamacare, securing the “chaotic” border, getting Keystone XL moving, and bringing civilized debate back to the upper chamber. And only by realizing the gravity of the battle for November, he argues, can Republicans relegate Harry Reid (D-Nev.)

President Obama firmly believes the United States is better off now than when he took office, even though the American people cannot “feel” it. During an interview with 60 Minutes’ Steve Kroft, Obama said, “the country is definitely better off than when I came into office.” “When I came into office, our economy was in crisis,” Obama said. The president then cited lower unemployment, private sector job growth, and deficit cuts as evidence of his administration’s success. “I can put my record against any leader around the world in terms of digging ourselves out of a terrible, almost unprecedented financial crisis,” Obama said. Well, that didn’t take long. Just two weeks into the new season of “The View,” co-hosts Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg tore into each other during a commercial break — in front of their stunned studio audience. The spat erupted Thursday after Goldberg interrupted O’Donnell to go to a commercial break before the mother of five was finished commenting in a “Hot Topic” discussion about spanking children on the ABC gabfest. O’Donnell refuses to wear an earpiece to stay in contact with producers while the live show is airing, so she had no clue it was time to stop talking.

Sacramento, Calif. - Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday signed legislation imposing the nation's first statewide ban on single-use plastic bags, driven to action by a buildup of litter and damage to aquatic ecosystems. A national coalition of plastic bag manufacturers immediately said it would seek a voter referendum to repeal the law, which is scheduled to take effect in July 2015. Under SB270, plastic bags will be phased out of large grocery stores starting next summer and convenience stores and pharmacies in 2016. The law allows grocers to charge a fee of at least 10 cents for using paper bags. State Sen. Alex Padilla, D-Los Angeles,

The sympathetic news media is avoiding mentioning his name, instead they are blaming the lack of a football intro for the massive collapse in ratings Sunday night for President Barack Obama’s appearance on CBS’ 60 Minutes. Americans turned away from watching Obama even though he was being interviewed about the nation’s new war on ISIS. For example, Deadline Hollywood didn’t even mention Obama’s 60 Minutes interview when reporting on the drop in viewers. “With no football lead-in, CBS’ Sunday lineup fell from last week. As expected, the drop was steepest at 7 PM, with 60 Minutes (1.1) off by 69%
