Rick Perry Warns ISIS May
Already Be in the United States

National Review Online, by Joel Gehrke

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 8/21/2014 3:10:43 PM

ISIS terrorists may already be in the country, Governor Rick Perry (R., Texas) warned, saying that the terrorists’ own version of “mission creep” will draw them from Iraq to the United States. “I think there is the obvious great concern that because of the condition of the border, from the standpoint of it not being secure and us not knowing who is penetrating across, that individuals from ISIS or other terrorist states could be [entering the country],” Perry said during an event hosted by National Review and the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C. “And I think it is a very real possibility that they may have already used that [entry point],”

Comments:
Simply put, "America, ignore this warning at your own peril."

What Rick says! No surprise to me. We make it harder for law-abiding Canadians to get into the USA than for the illegals to the south. Makes no sense. But it isn´t supposed to, is it?!

I expect Governor Perry is right. It´s likely ISIS has an advance guard already in place, and more than likely all this will lead to a bloody outcome. But Americans will prevail.

an angry, desperate citizenry will drive them beyond our borders. Of course, some benign citizens of Middle Eastern descendants will be purged, as well.

Most of the ISIS terrorists who would come to the USA to do their thing probably already have US Passports, are therefore not subject to immigration controls, and can walk into the country through any official port of entry. To them the borderline is a non entity. How did that happen, it happened because diversity trumps all other factors as far as the politicians and special interests are concerned who have designed US immigration laws and policies for several decades.

A new study reports one of the biggest potential advances against heart failure in more than a decade — a first-of-a-kind, experimental drug that lowered the chances of death or hospitalization by about 20 percent. Doctors say the Novartis drug - which doesn’t have a name yet - seems like one of those rare, breakthrough therapies that could quickly change care for more than half of the 6 million Americans and 24 million people worldwide with heart failure. “This is a new day” for patients, said Dr. Clyde Yancy, cardiology chief at Northwestern University in Chicago and a former American Heart Association president.

The extremists who have seized large parts of Syria and Iraq have riveted the world’s attention with their military prowess and unrestrained brutality. But Western intelligence services are also worried about their extraordinary command of seemingly less lethal weapons: state-of-the-art videos, ground images shot from drones and multilingual Twitter messages. ISIS, the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, is using every contemporary mode of messaging to recruit fighters, intimidate enemies and promote its claim to have established a caliphate, a unified Muslim state run according to a strict interpretation of Islamic law. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - The king of Saudi Arabia has warned that terrorist groups will attack Europe and the United States unless they are faced with collective "power and speed" from the international community. King Abdullah´s comments come as the Islamic State group has seized wide swaths of land across Syria and Iraq. While not mentioning any terrorist groups by name, Abdullah said that he is "certain that after a month they will reach Europe and, after another month, America." The king´s comments late Friday appeared aimed at drawing Washington and NATO forces into a wider fight against extremists in the region.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas have agreed on a three-phase plan that would lead to the establishment of a Palestinian state, the Saudi newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat reported Saturday. The paper quoted Palestinian sources in Ramallah as saying that the plan calls for giving the Americans a period of four months to draw the borders of the Palestinian state and win Israel’s recognition. (Snip) But if the plan is rejected, the sources added, the Palestinians, together with the Arab countries, would ask the United Nations Security Council to “evict Israel from the land of Palestine.”

As the lead bidder, Bon Jovi would have been the principal owner and therefore, under NFL rules, would have to put up 30 percent of the purchase price. With Bon Jovi’s net worth at roughly $300 million, according to sources, the group’s highest bid would have been capped at about $1.1 billion.

It will take two decades to rebuild the thousands of houses destroyed during Israel’s assault on Gaza, according to a recent NGO report. At least 17,000 homes were obliterated or severely damaged during the conflict, with thousands more needing substantial repairs, according to an assessment by Shelter Cluster. More than 2,100 Palestinians, most of them civilians, were killed during the conflict. In addition 71 Israelis were killed – all but six of them soldiers. But the report on Gaza’s housing stock indicates inhabitants of the densely populated strip will face a severe infrastructural burden over the coming years.

The nation’s highest immigration court has found for the first time that women who are victims of severe domestic violence in their home countries can be eligible for asylum in the United States. The decision on Tuesday by the Board of Immigration Appeals in the case of a battered wife from Guatemala resolved nearly two decades of hard-fought legal battles over whether such women could be considered victims of persecution. The ruling could slow the pace of deportations from the Southwest border, because it creates new legal grounds for women from Central America caught entering the country illegally in the surge this summer

In a polarized region and a complicated world, the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria presents a unifying threat to a broad array of countries, including the United States. What’s needed to confront its nihilistic vision and genocidal agenda is a global coalition using political, humanitarian, economic, law enforcement and intelligence tools to support military force. In addition to its beheadings, crucifixions and other acts of sheer evil, which have killed thousands of innocents in Syria, Iraq and Lebanon, including Sunni Muslims whose faith it purports to represent, ISIS (which the United States government calls ISIL,

After more than three years, almost 200,000 dead in Syria, the near collapse of Iraq, and the rise of the world’s most sinister terrorist army — the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, which has conquered vast swaths of both countries — President Obama’s admission this week that “we don’t have a strategy yet” to deal with this threat is startling. It is also dangerous. The president clearly wants to move deliberately and consult with allies and Congress as he considers what to do about ISIS. No one disputes that goal. But the threat ISIS poses only grows over time. It cannot be contained. It must be confronted. This requires a comprehensive strategy,

Authorities say they still don’t know what caused more than 200 girls in El Carmen de Bolivar to come down with symptoms (Snip) Some have hinted that the town of 95,000 near Colombia’s Caribbean coast could be experiencing a rare case of mass hysteria. Megyn Kelly was incredibly bewildered Thursday night at President Obama‘s comment about having no concrete Syria strategy yet. Ed Henry was very blunt in telling Kelly that this is an unqualified “disaster” for the White House. Henry admitted he was “stunned” that none of his colleagues in the briefing room followed up on that remark of the president’s, especially considering how quickly after the presser the White House jumped right into “damage control mode.” And whereas last night Henry blew Kelly’s mind by telling her Obama would be attending one fundraiser on Friday, he told her tonight that actually, it’s going to

intelligence community has observed a “significant increase” in chatter among terrorist organizations as the 13th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks nears. “We’ve noticed a significant increase in chatter among Islamic terrorist organizations overseas both on the Internet and phone lines,” a U.S. government official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told The Blaze. While the intelligence community can not pinpoint whether or not an attack is planned, the official said that agencies “did see this kind of increase in chatter before the September 11 attacks.”
