St. Louis Medical Examiner
SLAMS Brown Family Hire

Daily Caller, by Chuck Ross

The chief medical examiner of St. Louis County, who performed the first autopsy on Michael Brown after he was shot on Aug. 9, says that she is concerned by one of the men hired by the Brown family to conduct its own exam. “I can tell you absolutely that I find what Parcells does to be abysmal,” Dr. Mary Case told The Daily Caller when asked about Shawn Parcells, a Kansas-based forensic pathologist assistant. He has been accused in the past of fabricating his job title and of conducting autopsies without a license. (Snip) One crucial determination was the trajectory of

Comments:
It was reported elsewhere that Parcells did this autopsy. Baden only signed off on it.

The trajectory of the bullet to the head is a key piece of evidence as it could indicate what Brown was doing when that bullet hit. Parcells is not qualified to make that determination and Baden may not have checked his work.

We´ll see what the official St. Louis County ME autopsy report says when it is released after the full toxicology report is in. Apparently marijuana can be immediately detected but a full tox report takes longer. These reports are not released piecemeal.

Shawn Parcells isn´t a real forensic pathologist but he did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Not only does he fabricate his title, but his training. He´s never had any formal training. He claims on the job training. But those he supposedly worked with dispute that. He´s a fraud like everything else involved here.

And Baden is a scalpel looking for a TV camera.

Me thinks he is a good medical examiner, but pretty much in love with the sound of his own voice.

I heard the same thing reported that the OP heard, and I´m wondering now if Baden even put hands on the body, or simply signed off on someone else´s "work."

To my way of thinking, long ago Baden went the way of the oriental ME [can´t remember his name] who was supposed to be the be-all, end-all, and has fallen out of favor after he became an "expert" witness --he would come to whatever forensic conclusion he was being paid to come to.

I think Baden falls into that category.

When Dr. Baden did his press conference to release the second autopsy findings, I found it odd, at the time, that he let Parcells do the talking.
And I have this memory of Dr. Baden testifying in the OJ Simpson murder trial, for the defense, that a stab wound couldn´t indicate anything.
Is my memory flawed?

Re #7, he was hired by activist lawyer Crump, who admitted he paid for him. Crump stepped forward and volunteered his services to the Brown family after the shooting. Similar to the Trayvon Martin case.

You will find Crump at the bottom of the woodpile when any bogus racial wrongful death case is in play. He gets HIS pay when the insurance companies settle.

The Conservative Treehouse has investigated and reported this in minute detail. Find their articles on the Scheme Team here at LCom.

I read an article on this guy yesterday - a morbid, bottom feeding, un-credentialed imposter. And Baden reportedly didn´t even see Brown´s body, he just reviewed and endorsed Parcells´ report.

I hears some racist, biased "expert" say on TV last night that there was no way Brown could have been shot in the top of the head if he was running at Wilson, pushing the narrative that Brown was on his knees when Wilson "executed" him from above. Did this knucklehead ever see a Pro Football game? Check the attitude of a Fullback rushing the line WITH HIS HEAD DOWN!

Have a look at "bull rush" description here (it even talks about a 6´4, 250 # high school football player, and how they use this rather rudimentary rush, supplanted with more sophisticated moves in college and the pros.

And scroll down to the video demonstration. Draw your own conclusion about the rusher´s body and head position. Think about a 6´4 man "bull rushing" (charging) the officer.

The autopsy that will count is the first autopsy that was conducted by the Chief St. Louis Medical Examiner Dr. Mary Case, who is no rookie when it comes to conducting autopsies related to complicated criminal investigations. Dr Baden will back up Dr Case´s findings 100% you can safely bet on that. The guy Parcells is not a medical doctor or a pathologist, he is a technician, so any opinions he comes up with that do not jive with Dr Case´s findings will not be given very much weight.

Qua speech, Barack Obama’s address Wednesday on the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria was surprisingly terrible: a disorganized mess, insincere and unconvincing. To appreciate just how bad and bizarre it was, compare the president’s speech announcing a new air campaign in Iraq and Syria to Dwight Eisenhower’s 1958 statement on his decision to intervene in Lebanon with 14,000—14,000!—troops. The statement contains no chest-thumping about America’s leadership in science and medicine. No pivot to the auto industry and medical research. President Obama just announced that he is bringing a counter-terrorism strategy to an insurgency fight. He was at pains to repeat the phrase “counter-terror” four times in a short speech. Noting that ISIL is not a state (partly because the international community thankfully does not recognize it), he declared, “ISIL is a terrorist organization, pure and simple.
