David Cameron condemns
´barbaric´ killing of James Foley

Telegraph [UK], by Myles Burke & Press Association

David Cameron cut short his holiday to return to Downing Street and oversee the response after the horrific video was posted online. Speaking to reporters in Number 10, Mr Cameron said it seemed "increasingly likely" that a British citizen was the killer. "Let me condemn the barbaric and brutal act that has taken place and let´s be clear what this act is - it is an act of murder, and murder without any justification," he said. "We have not identified the individual responsible, but from what we have seen it looks increasingly likely that it is a British citizen.

This video was posted by the Telegraph around 0400 Eastern yesterday. Compare and contrast to Obama´s speech.

Note on UK immigration: Those unfamiliar with the situation should know that the previous UK government (Labour, led by Tony Blair and then Gordon Brown, total 13 years), deliberately allowed in hundreds of thousands of immigrants to bolster Labour votes--and Labour admitted it. PC decisions became thick on the ground during that time. Cameron (Conservative) now governs with the LibDems (Coalition).

The huge influx of Muslims included the charismatic "hate preachers" we´ve heard so much about.

The British Prime Minister returns from his holiday without delay - and not for only a few hours - puts on a suit and tie and gets to work, and gives a strong speech against the barbarism of Islamic extremism.

Obama returns from Martha´s Vineyard for a few hours, dons a suit and tie for a few minutes while he gives a milquetoast speech of faux-outrage, and returns to his golf game as quickly as humanly possible.

For all his faults David Cameron is a serious man. Obama is a man-child who´s grown weary of the job he sought - twice - and hardly bothers to conceal his boredom.

First the EU came for our incandescent light bulbs but we said nothing because we thought saving energy was a good idea - and anyway, we didn´t realise until it was too late how much brighter, warmer and nicer the old ones were compared with the flickery, mercury-filled eco ones. Then the EU came for our menthol cigarettes but we didn´t complain because we only used to smoke those when we were teenagers and have since given up. Somalia´s Islamist group al-Shabab has named Ahmad Umar as successor to former leader Ahmed Abdi Godane, who was killed in a US air strike. The group announced the move in an online statement, vowing to take revenge for Godane´s death. Somalia´s authorities earlier put the country on alert for possible retaliatory attacks by al-Shabab. The alert came as the US confirmed the death of Godane in air strikes south of Mogadishu on Monday night. ´Bitter consequences´ Little is known about Ahmad Umar, who is also known as Abu Ubaidah. Barack Obama´s presidency continues to be degraded and destroyed. The beheading of a second American journalist by Isil (for dealing with which Obama recently said he has "no strategy"), coupled with Vladimir Putin´s continued provocations in Ukraine, only reinforce an image of impotence and malaise. So this should be the perfect moment for the Republican Party to begin the campaign for a new direction. Fortunately for them, in less than 60 days the Congressional mid-term elections will be held. And though Obama won´t officially be on the ballot, every member of the House of Representatives will be--along with one third

In an interview at the Nato summit, Philip Hammond, the Foreign Secretary, assured us that Russia would not be a threat to Eastern European countries which were members of Nato. [Snip] Once Barack Obama – on whom the credibility of Nato depends – allowed the Assad regime to cross his portentous “red line” on chemical weapons, no pronouncement from a Western power was going to count for much among the lunatic gangs and tin pot autocrats of the new world order. In the great jihadi funding bazaar that is the Gulf state of Kuwait, there’s a terror finance option for every pocket, from the private foundations dealing in tens of millions to the more retail end of the market. Give enough for 50 sniper bullets (50 dinars, about £110), promises the al-Qaeda and Islamic State-linked cleric tweeting under the name “jahd bmalk”, and you will earn “silver status”. Donate 100 dinars to buy eight badly needed mortar rounds, and he’ll make you a “gold status donor”. As the jihadi funders hand out loyalty cards, the West has belatedly realised that some of

The U.S. State Department is attempting to fight back against terror group ISIS with a graphic video that aims to dissuade would-be jihadists from joining the terror group. The Obama administration’s counter propaganda video starts with the phrase: Run. Do not walk to ISIS land, according to CNN. Then a body is thrown off a cliff. In an attempt to use social media to target and prevent would-be jihadists from joining the group, the video was posted on a youtube channel and is entitled ‘Welcome to the ´Islamic State´ land. The US has said it has no plans for any military co-operation with Iran to fight against Islamic State (IS) militants in Iraq. A US state department spokeswoman said Washington would also not "share intelligence" with Iran. Iranian sources earlier told the BBC Iran´s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had authorised one of his top commanders for such contacts. But Iran´s foreign ministry also denied the report as incorrect. Iran has traditionally opposed US involvement in Iraq, an Iranian ally. "We don´t co-ordinate military action or share intelligence with Iran," state department spokeswoman Marie Harf said.

The Republican Party´s 2012 presidential candidate opened up with both barrels on the White House, warning that ´bullying, invasion and regional wars´ will ultimately become the norm if the U.S. withdraws from its historical role as the sole superpower capable of knitting together the world´s fragile detente. ´The most ludicrous excuse for shrinking our military derives from the president’s thinking, he charged: "Things are much less

Barack Obama stands apart from other modern American Presidents in many ways. (snip)the widespread view that he is the coolest President ever. This supernal coolness is not new. In his autobiography, Dreams From My Father, the President wrote that in his teenage years “I tried my best to be cool at all times” (p. 82). The revelation set off a new round of investigations and congressional hearings. On Friday, the IRS issued a report to Congress saying the agency also lost emails from five other employees related to the probe,
