Appalling
Weekly Standard, by William Kristol

Original Article

The president is appalled. Indeed he said this afternoon that "the entire world is appalled by the brutal murder of Jim Foley by the terrorist group, ISIL." The act of violence that killed Jim Foley, the president continued, "shocks the conscience of the entire world." What happens in the age of Obama to a group that does something that appalls and shocks the conscience of the entire world? Nothing. President Obama said that "no just God would stand for what they did yesterday, and for what they do every single day." I am no theologian. I pray that the president is right. But I know that we cannot sit back and wait for a just God to bring evildoers to judgment here below.

"the entire world is appalled by the brutal murder of Jim Foley . . . "

That´s the problem. The entire world is not.

A good deal of the world is celebrating.

The article says that no God would stand for this. But the article is wrong. God gave free will to each person, whether he be sane or Muslim. We are free to do what we will.
What WILL we do next?
Will WE stand for it?

Am I the only one who wants to blow these guys to smithereens??

Enough has been done by them that qualifies for "No more conversation needed" and we just carpet bomb them.

I don´t want to bring them "to justice" and give them a chance to parade around for TV cameras - these people are not redeemable in any way. A White House petition entitled "Blow the suckers Up" should be posted and then go for it.

Everytime I hear that word appalled spoken by nitiwts like Obola I think of that scene in the movie "A Few Good Men". The scence where Jack Nicholson, Kiefer Sutherland and the late J.T. Walsh. After hearing the death of Private Santiago from Sutherland(his squad leader) Nicholson (who´s the Gitmo Marine Base Commander) asks Walsh how he feels about it. Walsh (whose character is the quiet and reserved second in command) says that he´s appalled. Old Jack almost looses it there. Now take that into account when Oblamo says the same thing. I´m appalled oh well whatever.

Jimmy Carter says he would have
defeated Reagan had he been more ´manly´
Washington Examiner, by Paul Bedard    Original Article

Former President Jimmy Carter claimed Wednesday that he would have been re-elected and beaten Ronald Reagan in 1980 if had been more “manly” in his dealings with Iran. Interviewed by the show "CNBC Meets," Carter repeated his belief that the failed mission to free American hostages held in Tehran killed his chances, but then added that had he gone to war, America would have rewarded him with a second term in 1980.

Liberals like to think and talk about themselves as if they are the wave of the future. Note, for example, how Barack Obama and John Kerry have denounced Islamist terrorists and Vladimir Putin for behaving as if they are still in the “19th century.” On domestic policy, liberals see history as a story of progress from tiny government to ever-larger government — though never stating exactly how far that movement should go. Obama came to the nation’s attention in 2004 as a new figure, young and future-oriented. His successful 2008 campaign was seen as a drive for “hope and change.”

Labor Department spends
$100K on a book club
Washington Examiner, by Kelly Cohen    Original Article

They say "knowledge is power," but does it have to be so expensive? Ask the U.S. Department of Labor, which spent $100,000 promoting a book club that may or may not have made agency employees smarter. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa wants Secretary of Labor Thomas Perez to account for that expense and others that the California Republican views as frivolous. Documents released Tuesday by the committee described Labor Department spending between 2009 and the present that, besides the book club, included nearly $25,000 in entry fees for public relations contests.

The gradual disintegration of Iraq has prompted any number of backward glances: At President Obama and his policies; at the stewardship of Iraq´s now ex-Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki ; at the forces of religion and tribalism. My own backward glance is to January 2008, and the early stages of the campaign for the Republican presidential nomination. At a town meeting in New Hampshire, candidate Sen. John McCain was asked to comment on President George W. Bush´s assertion that American troops might have to remain in Iraq for 50 years.

Immigration Malpractice
Weekly Standard, by Peter Skerry    Original Article

For over a generation now, America’s elites have willfully ignored a substantial segment of the public that has misgivings about ever-increasing levels of immigration. Whenever possible these elites—in the academy, religious institutions, the media, politics, and business—have responded to such misgivings with platitudes about our status as “a nation of immigrants,” conveniently overlooking the four decades of the 20th century when the gates were substantially closed. When such evasive tactics have proved ineffective, immigration advocates have routinely denounced those who resist their agenda as racist xenophobes—and continued to pry open the flood-gates to unskilled as well as skilled migrants.

President Obama raises more questions

killing of James Foley
Washington Examiner, by Charles Hoskinson    Original Article

President Obama interrupted his vacation Wednesday to say the killing of U.S. journalist James Foley by ISIS "has shocked the conscience of the entire world" and declare that the Islamist extremist group will "ultimately fail" because its ideology is bankrupt. "The one thing we can agree on is a group like ISIL has no place in the 21st century," Obama declared. Then he left to go play golf. Again.

Black Mob Violence: So many

My last article for American Thinker was too long. And too short. Too long because the gurus tell us articles should be about 600 words. My story about the president talking to the black caucus about white people inflicting constant racial injustice on black people came in at 1500 words. I was just getting warmed up. I thought it strange that at the same time the president was trying to persuade us that black people are relentless victims, black people were committing acts of racial violence in places like Seattle, Miami, Indianapolis, Bronx, Ferguson, Kansas City, Providence, Minneapolis and 18 miles from where

The quintessential question of Watergate was “what did the President know and when did he know it?” Obamagate, the vast scandal that encompasses an entire presidency, offers a preemptive answer. Obama didn’t know anything and he never knew it. At least not until, like smuggling weapons to druglords, bugging journalists, IRSing his political enemies and killing vets, his right hand found out about what his left hand was doing from the morning paper. After skipping 58% of his daily intelligence briefings in Term 1 and 59% of them in Term 2, he went on 60 Minutes and blamed intelligence agencies for being

A recently retired Secret Service agent told MailOnline on Thursday that former director Julia Pierson´s resignation will be welcomed by the agency´s rank-and-file because ´people in the service thought she was a joke from Day One.´ He attributed her swift fall from grace to a cadre of ´p***ed off agents who had had enough´ of feeling disrespected by the service´s first female director. ´Putting her in charge was part of the [Obama] administration´s push to feminize the service after the "hookergate" nightmare,´ the agent said, referring to agents who were fired after patronizing prostitutes during a security-check trip to Colombia

Kansas Tea Party supporters are threatening to sit out the state’s pivotal Senate election, potentially dealing another blow to the reelection hopes of Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.). Though schisms within the GOP base rarely have such an outsized impact on a general election contest, the lack of support from the conservative base could be devastating to the vulnerable Roberts’s chances against surging independent Greg Orman. Multiple sources tell The Hill that a group of Tea Party leaders in the state are meeting Wednesday to try to decide whether they should go to bat for the incumbent this fall or sit out of

President Obama this week committed professional suicide. Let me explain. There is a theory in politics that once a leader has fired 50 or more people from his or her administration, he or she is finished. The reason being that by creating so many enemies ‘outside the tent’, the tent itself becomes too deluged with poisonous bile to avoid sinking into a quagmire of back-stabbing ignominy. Obama went a lot further than firing 50 people. He managed to single-handedly alienate 200,000 employees in the American intelligence agencies by going on 60 Minutes and ruthlessly chucking them all under a bus

Count House Speaker John Boehner as a fan of Jeb Bush for president. He also hasn´t spoken to Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz in two years. The driving issue of the 2016 election will be “competence,” and if former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush runs, “he’s got a real shot” at winning, the Ohio Republican told the Cincinnati Enquirer on Tuesday. Boehner applauded Bush’s ability to “talk about Republican issues better than most anybody that we’ve got out there,” approving of his “real record of reform” as Florida’s governor from 1999 to 2007. He also called potential candidates Ohio Gov. John

A recent fight between Rosie O´Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg has producers at The View looking to add a cool-down room for the ladies. After being cut off by Goldberg during an episode last week so the show could go to commercial, O´Donnell began to express how upset she was and, after being told repeatedly by Goldberg it was not the right time to have that discussion, eventually got cursed out by the Oscar winner. Goldberg told O´Donnell, ´F*** it, I told you to leave it alone and you just don´t want to listen. If you want to go there Rosie,
