Obama blasts terrorists, returns to golf
New York Post, by Sophia Rosenbaum

Original Article

Posted By:Desperata, 8/20/2014 3:32:27 PM

President Obama lashed out on Wednesday at the terrorists who beheaded a US journalist and pledged to stop the militants — and then he darted off to a Martha’a Vineyard golf course with some of his buddies. "A group like ISIL has no place in the 21st century,” Obama said, using the acronym for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. He added that the international community should work together to “extract this cancer so that it does not spread.”

Comments:
The presidential limo idled outside while he made his statement on Foley´s execution, then went right to Martha´s Vineyard Country Club golf course. Seriously - what is wrong with this man?

And this is the regime who is always concerned about optics?? It´s stunning that they just don´t give a flip. The entire world is watching the pathetic, weak Obama. This reflects horribly on our great nation. My how he has sullied her.

The terrorists must be absolutely thrilled with their good fortune that he is president. They should to be, he´s the one who enabled them to become so powerful to do their heinous, evil deeds.

He doesn´t give a flip because "he won" reelection. He´ll continue to give the American people the bird - there will be no accountability, thanks to guilty liberals and a deliberately absent media.

I disagree that obama has sullied America. He is as despicable as everyone knows by now. But liars, reprobates, thugs and criminals can be found everywhere in society. what has truly sullied America are the legions and legions of obama enablers who have either helped him to get to where he is or have stood by and done virtually nothing to stop him.
This includes the entire establishment media of course, but also the entire democrat party and virtually all of the republicna party (with just a handfull of notable exceptions).
Bottom line is this: once obama saw that he could get away with not proving his eligibility, the most basic and fundamental element of upholding ou Constitution, he pretty much knew he had a blank check to be as lawless and destructive as he wants to be.

It sounded like Obama´s primary objective as he gave his statement was to absolve Islam of any responsiblity.

Obama is correct. People like this eventually do fail. But, they thrive when good men do nothing to stop them...or go golfing instead. It´s only when god men act that evil fails. Evil triumphs when good men do nothing.

Words, words, words -- from a man to whom words mean nothing. The "world" is appalled. The "international community" should work together. What about the USA, sir? The country of which you are President? What should that country do???

In what might be the ultimate seal of approval, Barack Obama hailed Katy Perry as a ´wonderful person´ last night. The U.S. President hosted the ´Dark Horse´ hit-maker at a White House dinner to honour the 46th anniversary of the Special Olympics and admitted he felt ´grateful´ she´d taken time out of her busy schedule to be there. Introducing her on stage, Obama said: ´We have just one of my favorite people performing tonight -- Katy Perry. We are so grateful to her."

The View is a television show that, apparently, a lot of women watch. Currently, Rosie O’Donnell, who was once famous for something–I have no idea what–is one of the hosts. Still, many women watch. So this video of The View’s women grappling with the Obama administration’s response to ISIS terrorism is noteworthy. I want to highlight O’Donnell’s contribution near the end: We are bombing Syria because Syria has so much oil, so there is a “financial incentive.” What the Hell is this supposed to mean? Why are liberals obsessed with oil? And what, exactly, is the “financial incentive?” Here is the

Eric Holder Jr., the nation´s first black U.S. attorney general, is preparing to announce his resignation Thursday after a tumultuous tenure marked by civil rights advances, national security threats, reforms to the criminal justice system and five and a half years of fights with Republicans in Congress. Two sources familiar with the decision tell NPR that Holder, 63, intends to leave the Justice Department as soon as his successor is confirmed, a process that could run through 2014 and even into next year. A former U.S. government official says Holder has been increasingly "adamant" about his desire to leave soon

President Obama on Wednesday delivered a speech at the United Nations filled with his usual soaring rhetoric of global collectivism and the importance of “international norms.” But the president also displayed a shocking naivete about global affairs, religion, Islam — a Pollyannaish interpretation on the state of the world and America’s role in it. Although Mr. Obama won a Nobel Peace Prize just eight months into office, the president made his annual trip to the ineffectual world council to deliver a call to war. “Ladies and gentlemen, we come together at a crossroads between war and peace,

Even though Republicans may take back the Senate by running against amnesty, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush pushed amnesty legislation while stumping for North Carolina Republican Senate candidate Thom Tillis on Wednesday. Bush, according to the New York Times, reportedly said that comprehensive immigration reform "will restore and sustain economic growth for this country." And even though a recent Gallup poll found that illegal immigration is now the top concern among Republicans, Bush said that if immigration reform is "framed in that way, I don’t think there’s a big debate in the Republican Party about the need to do this."

Former Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum on Thursday criticized comments US Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) made earlier this month, in a speech that critics have said was unnecessarily confrontational toward a Middle Eastern Christian group. (snip) Cruz earned the ire of many conservatives for his speech to a group called "In Defense of Christians." During those remarks, Cruz made a point to say he would not support groups in the Middle East who are not pro-Israel.  He walked off the stage to a chorus of boos after eventually telling the crowd he wouldn´t "stand with" them if they did not "stand

Normally, no one would care that in a recent Atlantic essay — “Why I Hope to Die at 75” — 57-year-old Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel argued that living to be 75 years old was long enough for anyone. After 75, Emanuel suggests, “We are no longer remembered as vibrant and engaged but as feeble, ineffectual, even pathetic.” But Emanuel is no garden-variety crackpot. Nor is he a wannabe science-fiction writer dreaming of a centrally planned planet of robust youthful humanoids. Unfortunately, he was one of the chief architects of the troubled Affordable Care Act and a key medical advisor to the Obama

The Rev. Sharpton praised Holder, the first African-American attorney general, as the "best" one in history when it comes to civil rights. "The resignation of Attorney General Eric Holder

With the mid-term elections weeks away, many conservatives are confronting a difficult choice. Assuming there are no solid conservatives on the ballot, do we vote for establishment candidates? Or not vote at all? The reasons why some conservatives are on the fence or planning not to vote are well known. (And Democrats are loving every minute of it!) “Establishment Republicans have attacked us and I refuse to support any of them.” “I’m sick of RINO’s. They’re no better than the Democrats.” “Other than a few strong conservatives, the rest of the GOP stands for nothing.” I share these frustrations. The conversation in my head goes something

The Los Angeles City Council voted Wednesday to raise the minimum wage for hotel workers to $15.37, one of the highest wage requirements in the country. Hotel workers in yellow shirts packed City Hall as the council voted 12 to 3 to approve the measure, which will go into effect for hotels with at least 300 rooms beginning in July. Hotels with 150 rooms or more will have to meet the wage requirement a year later. “Hotel workers are here because they want family-supporting wages,” said Maria Elena Durazo, executive secretary-treasurer of the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO, during the public

Of all the malfeasances of William Jefferson Clinton the one that would have most justified a removal from office was not the Monica hijinks, even with the attendant lying under oath and absurd parsings of the word “is,” but the pardoning of Marc Rich — the billionaire international commodities trader and mammoth contributor to, er, Clinton. Luckily for Bill, this action occurred on the last day of his presidency, making anything like impeachment moot, even though it was an example of political corruption that would have made Boss Tweed envious. President Barack Obama favorably quoted and praised on Wednesday in his speech before the United Nations a controversial Muslim cleric whose organization has reportedly endorsed the terror group Hamas and supported a fatwa condoning the murder of U.S. soldiers in Iraq. Obama in his remarks offered praise to controversial cleric Sheikh Abdallah Bin Bayyah and referred to him as a moderate Muslim leader who can help combat the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant’s (ISIL or ISIS) radical ideology. However, Bin Bayyah himself has long been engulfed in controversy for many of his views, including the reported backing of
