Global Warming has Temporarily
´Paused´ due to Climate Fluctuations
and Weaker Solar Irradiance

Global warming has been temporarily ´paused´ according to a group of scientists, who attribute this interlude to climate fluctuations and a more restrained sun. Researchers at ETH Zurich have explained the two reasons behind the warming hiatus in their study published in the latest issue of the journal Nature Geoscience. The first is that global temperatures, which rose significantly in the 1990s, have only risen very slightly since 1998 - which has been used by sceptics to question climate change and the models used to measure it. However, climate fluctuations such as El Niño and its counter-phenomenon La Niña have

Comments:
Real scientists understand that climactic change is an inevitable constant on earth and man´s impact nominal.

The "pause" is almost 18 years old and now they try to come up with an explanation for it that validates their theories. They don´t have a clue about what is going on.

I wonder how long a "pause" has to go on before it officially becomes a permanent trend.

Previously you couldn´t get them to consider natural variation as a factor for love nor money. Now they are using that to try to save their bacon.

Yes, it has "temporarily" paused for the last 17 years.

Here´s my theory - the climate has always changed. We just didn´t have 24/7/52 news and weather channels to harp about it and shove it in our faces. 40 years ago we would not even have been aware of weather trends on the opposite coast much less the South Pacific.

On the Weather Channel they look positively depressed there is no heat wave to report about. They can´t even tout the ´Heat Index´ to fright viewers. Also, the hurricane season is looking ´bleak´ since no tropical storms are developing although we´re approaching the height of the season.

We need to send the climate change scientists to the sun so they can determine how human activity on the earth has caused the solar activity to fluctuate. Then they can return to earth and report to its citizens.

The headline is sufficient to falsify the entire theory of global warming. The science was settled and the models showing exponential increases in temperature and sea level were treated as the oracles of God. They have now been shown to be flat wrong. Ergo, the whole theory can be discarded.

If the Left abandons the man-made global warming narrative, you can be sure it will come up with a new one. It is never short of narratives. Somewhere lurks an issue that will be spun by the Left to increase its control over how we live, and it will be linked to the generation of schemes and cash-flows designed to benefit Leftist causes.

I can´t even begin to hide my flabbergastation over this "article". Start with:

"which has been used by sceptics to question climate change and the models used to measure it."

Models do not measure anything, models are not data, models do not produce real data, the produce best guess fits to actual data.

Which these "scientists" insist is wrong, because there are not enough temperature stations to actually measure the global temperature to show how much its really rising. So they "fix" this problem by creating data using a model to provide the needed extra Data which when fed back into a model gives them the answer they couldn´t get with the actual data they had to begin with. No comment on the fact that the "warming" of the previous century was based on those same, apparently untrustworthy and insufficient, weather monitoring stations.

They then insist that once the climate stops having el ninos and la ninas and volcanic eruptions and the sun starts behaving as they think it should their model will produce data that will accurately show that we´re all going to fry.

They really jumped the shark on this one.

After spending a nearly 40 year career as an engineer, doing graduate school work on computer modeling of complex systems, and spending my career using some of the biggest supercomputers made to model complex physics, it is absolutely clear that the "climate models" are and always have been total hogwash.

The climate is FAR, FAR too randomly variable and poorly defined in mathematical terms to write any sort of a model that has even a modest correlation with reality.

Their models CANNOT take data from 1900 and predict correctly the climate in 1950, and they have had to "hand adjust" them to make them come even close - which PROVES that the models are worthless.

This is the biggest scam ever run, and has been falling flat for almost two decades, yet these charlatans, thieves, 3rd rate "scientist" pretending to be great scientists, politicians and general grifters have sold this lie to a credulous, uneducated and uncurious press and PART of the public.

The scam is steadily unraveling and this needs to be pushed back against, HARD. Collapse their house of cards, NOW.

How could they discount the influence of the sun? Temperatures increase during the day, and decrease at night.

Also, the data they used was highly flawed. They put temperature monitoring stations as close to artificial heat sources as possible.

Conservative Martin Baker attended a rally in support Officer Darren Wilson in St. Louis. As news of this rally in support of Wilson spread across social media it wasn’t long before Baker’s attendance was noticed by those super tolerant liberals. Now a local New Black Panther adviser is threatening violence against Martin Baker. The Bell News reported: Mauricelm-Lei Millere is a Black Panther and New Black Panther Adviser who is assisting to organize the protests in Ferguson, Missouri. He has also recently encouraged people to commit violence on Martin Baker in a recent Facebook posting.
