ISIS Beheads American
Journalist Foley, Calls Murder
Retaliation for U.S. Airstrikes

The Islamic State’s official media just released a graphic video showing the beheading of American journalist James Foley, who was taken in northwest Syria on Thanksgiving Day 2012. The ISIS terrorist in the video says that the beheading is revenge for President Obama’s recent airstrikes on ISIS targets in Iraq. The video, viewed in full by PJM, begins with a snippet of Obama speaking about the strikes, then shifts to images of the strikes with a title that reads, “American Aggression Against the Islamic State.” The title card then says a “A Message to America.” Foley, with a shaved head, was

I guess the LSM isn´t allowed to report this yet, on orders from the WH. I don´t know what´s scarier, the fact that the guy has been so visciously murdered, or that the ever obedient state media won´t report it till they´ve been given the ok.

Don´t expect much concern from most Americans. After all, a decade after we saw what radical Islam was like on 9-11-2001, we placed a Muslim in the White House.

Maybe we should level the playing field...

The sooner these monsters are eliminated the better; all of them. But we have a president that doesn´t know right from wrong; so when evil shows it´s face, he doesn´t know it´s evil and does nothing... of very little.

The weather on the Vineyard has never been better in August. Cloudless days!

But a touch chilly in the evenings, so Smidgen might need a sweater.

Excuse me while I go cry my eyes for James Foley and his family, and scream in rage at the piece of crap who caused this.

What does God think of this??

Obama will have nothing to say because his brothers did it. Obama is such a disgrace he no longer bothers facing the American people because he hates them, has betrayed them, and wants American ruined. But he is half black, so it doesn´t matter, and Republicans will keep writing the checks.

Old Testament, "Eye for an eye, etc." We should establish a fund so that the James Foley family can go down to the center of their town, grab a muslim as he walks down the street and behead him. Maybe give them a chainsaw and do it American style. That sounds real awful...but ask the Foleys.
And we may not be too far from this point. Yes, and we need to pray to our God and ask His help to save we Christians and Jews.

This ought to be the last hostage these maggots ever take. Foley went along with them, did what they said, allowed them to shave his head, read their stupid placards - and got beheaded anyway. The next American they try to grab needs to know his best recourse is to take a maggot down with him, fight them tooth and claw, tear off a few bodily organs, fight like a tiger all the way to the end because these maggots kill no matter how much anyone cooperates. There´s no reward for cooperation, so at a minimum gouge an eye out on the way out.

Obama was eager to declare a quick victory and leave Iraq again but the barbaric ISIS pulls this stunt to keep the US in Iraq. Obama built his campaign and career on getting out of Iraq. It was the wrong war. This is disgusting but somehow fitting. Each side forces the other to do what they don´t want to do. Why were the compliant media safe till now amid all the ISIS carnage in iraq ?

You can´t kill them all. They will pop up again in a new form. They are sustained by an idea. You can´t kill an idea. They are not like your traditional military unit with a central authority behind it. They are like pods here and there, all feeding off dogma and revenge.

The thing that I suspect is happening is that they are getting desperate as the recent strikes are driving them back from what they crave more than anything else - territory. Territory, territory, territory - once you deny them territory, they have no footing on which to affix themselves.

It appears from other reports that Foley was selected because he exposed Islamist barbarity and the suffering of people living under their control. In response ISIS puts up a video of his killing to take control of US policy! They need to make up their minds, do they want to highlight their barbarity to terrorize others or hide it to win friends? Their extremes of barbarity show weakness not strength while destroying "the religion of peace" meme!

They´re here.

Foley was beheaded by a Jihadi from the UK. That´s why Cameron cut short his vacation.

Note to world. The US was not founded to include Muslims even though there are many who want to live in peace. Harsh words but true. Unfortunately, there are many more who look at the teachings of the Koran as paramount to our Constitution.

With everything that is going on I still question the decision in 1965 by Democrats (Ted Kennedy) to begin allowing people from all corners of the world into the country. Instead of only allowing people who would benefit our society they began a quota system. Since then we have a more Balkanized society. Just my opinion.

What is amazing is that this journalist was held prisoner for almost two years. Nothing was done by the POTUS and nothing will be done now. The only good that might come out of this whole ugly episode will be when the lap-dog national press corps comes to realize that Obie doesn´t give a crap about them. They now know they could be next and he couldn´t care less!

I disagree with #25- you really can kill them all. It´s merely that we lack the motivation. We have the tools to get the job done, and done quite well. We just don´t have the nerve.

It´s the idea of what we would believe ourselves to be after that stops us. In short, we would rather be dead and extinct as a culture than be a surviving barbaric culture.

We will self extinguish, but, with class, with a martini in one hand and a copy of the NY Times in the other.

A young American journalist is boldly beheaded by Islamist thugs from a new Islamic ‘state’ and a young policeman is attacked here by a fearless home-grown thug.

While seemingly unrelated, these acts are indeed connected - they are the result of the current President’s regular and aloof dismissal of the principled rules of moral and ethical conduct that we embraced and have held dear since our nation’s inception.

There aren’t words to describe the vile and disgusting situations in which we now find ourselves.

All the high-flying rhetoric of Obama about how builders not murderers will ultimately win is BS. Those who give life win only when they take decisive action.

He may surprise me but I don´t expect much from him in the way of a strong sustained reaction. As a matter of fact it would be highly unlikely. Now if they were white Christians...

Interpreting the Islamic State’s jihadi logic

What was the Islamic State thinking? We know it is sophisticated in its use of modern media. But what was the logic of propagating to the world videos of its beheadings of two Americans (and subsequently a Briton) — sure to inflame public opinion? There are two possible explanations. One is that these terrorists are more depraved and less savvy than we think. They so glory in blood that they could not resist making an international spectacle of their savagery — after all, they proudly broadcast their massacre of Shiite prisoners — and did not quite fathom how such a

The United States has made the same mistake in evaluating fighters from the Islamic State that it did in Vietnam — underestimating the enemy’s will, according to James Clapper, the director of national intelligence. Clapper’s comments came in a telephone interview Wednesday, in which he summarized the elements of a new National Intelligence Strategy released this week. Clapper also answered some broader questions about intelligence issues confronting the country. Asked whether the intelligence community had succeeded in its goal of providing “anticipatory intelligence” about the extremist movement in Syria and Iraq that has declared itself the Islamic State, Clapper said

Flashes of disagreement over how to fight the Islamic State are mounting between President Obama and U.S. military leaders, the latest sign of strain in what often has been an awkward and uneasy relationship. Even as the administration has received congressional backing for its strategy, with the Senate voting Thursday to approve a plan to arm and train Syrian rebels, a series of military leaders have criticized the president’s approach against the Islamic State militant group. Retired Marine Gen. James Mattis, who served under Obama until last year, became the latest high-profile skeptic on Thursday, telling the House Intelligence Committee

Guns are becoming the prop of choice in campaign ads around the country this midterm year. Take it as another sign that the Obama administration’s gun control push is running aground: Firearms have become this year’s go-to accessory for candidates of both parties seeking to advertise their toughness and willingness to fight. Republicans, and even some Democrats, in a dozen states are showing off their shooting skills in videos and television ads or posing with firearms in mailers, underscoring the backlash against federal and state proposals to restrict access to guns and ammunition.

Weeks before the State Department assured Americans that things were operating “normally” at its consulate in the Kurdish capital of Erbil in August, concerned procurement officials were quietly saying the advance of militants of the Islamic State, also known as ISIL or ISIS, meant the government needed to shell out tens of millions of dollars to counter a “rapidly deteriorating” security situation. On a no-bid basis, the State Department nearly doubled the size of a task order to defense contractor Triple Canopy, which had been hired to train Iraqi security forces but was asked to now perform diplomatic security and

The Obama administration quietly has been forcing new gun buyers to declare their race and ethnicity, a policy change that critics say provides little law enforcement value while creating the risk of privacy intrusions and racial profiling. With little fanfare, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in 2012 amended its Form 4473 — the transactional record the government requires gun purchasers and sellers to fill out when buying a firearm — to identify buyers as either Hispanic, Latino or not. Then a buyer must check his or her race: Indian, Asian, black, Pacific Islander or white. The

The nation’s top military officer raised the possibility Tuesday that U.S. troops could become involved in ground attacks against the Islamic State, despite repeated pledges to the contrary from President Obama. In testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee, Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, sketched out scenarios in which U.S. Special Forces might need to embed with Iraqi or Kurdish troops engaged in direct combat with Islamic State fighters. DES MOINES — When Joni Ernst burst into public consciousness here last spring, she was talking about castrating hogs as a child on an Iowa farm. Another ad showed her wearing a leather jacket and stepping off a Harley-Davidson to point a pistol at a camera. Well, meet the new Joni Ernst. Iowa’s Republican Senate nominee went on the air this week with an ad in which she sits at a kitchen table, speaks directly to the camera and says she cares about protecting Social Security, good schools, good-paying jobs and affordable health care. Ernst’s effort to project a more

It should be noted that the poll is from Democrat-aligned Public Policy Polling but if the numbers prove out, the establishment GOP that threw everything it had at propping up an aging Pat Roberts in Kansas during a bruising primary may yet come to regret it. Independent Greg Orman has opened up a lead in his effort to unseat Republican Kansas Sen. Pat Roberts, according to a new poll.... Orman leads Roberts 41-34, with Democrat Chad Taylor — who announced plans to end his campaign earlier this month — capturing 6 percent of the vote. Libertarian Randall Batson earned 4

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, one of the masterminds behind Obamacare, has now explained that he wishes to die at age 75. In an article in The Atlantic, Emanuel writes, “Seventy-five. That’s how long I want to live: 75 years.” He explains that his daughters disagree; so do his brothers and his friends. But, he says, “I am sure of my position…here is a simple truth that many of us seem to resist: living too long is also a loss. It renders many of us, if not disabled, then faltering and declining, a state that may not be worse than death but

Congress is living in an "evidence-free zone" as it debates issues of equal pay and family-friendly work policies, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Thursday. "Unfortunately, reality is not always the context in which these decisions are made. The Congress increasingly -- despite the best efforts of my friends and others -- is living in an evidence-free zone," she said during a roundtable discussion at the Center for American Progress focused on women´s issues. "What the reality is, in the lives of Americans is so far from the minds of too many who don´t place the highest priority" on

Brown was shot dead in Ferguson, Missouri on August 9, 2014 after he robbed a local Ferguson convenience store. Brown reportedly smashed police officer Darren Wilson in the face, severely injuring Wilson, before he was shot dead. Protesters threatened continued rioting and violence if Officer Wilson is let off. Just call her a pit bull without lipstick! Sarah Palin is proving she has a sense of humor about the makeup-free photos that surfaced this week. On Monday, the 50-year-old politician was photographed by paparazzi looking fresh-faced without any cosmetics on. But instead of getting mad about the slyly snapped no-makeup shots, the former Alaska governor took to Facebook to joke about the incident. "Feel bad for the poor paparazzi hounding outside my truck this morning hoping to capture a tabloid ‘exclusive´ of me coming out of Bikram Hot Yoga. A village of just 1,000 residents in Switzerland has been forced to raise taxes because an African refugee and her seven children cost the local authority £40,000 in benefits every month. Hagenbuch, in the Swiss canton of Zurich, is understood to be spending close to a third of its total annual budget on the family after they arrived from Eritrea in East Africa three years ago. The massive benefits bill covers day-to-day living expenses such as groceries and cleaning costs, as well as paying for four of the woman´s children to be housed in an orphanage and even bills for

Durbin, a member of the Senate´s Gang of Eight that wrote the immigration reform bill, said during a Senate hearing on Ebola that the Senate´s amnesty bill would have even allowed doctors in the United States to travel to Africa to combat Ebola "without jeopardizing their immigration status." “We included in the immigration reform bill, which passed the United States Senate, a provision which provided, in one respect, if you are medically trained in Africa and promise to
