A message to the people of Ferguson
Post-Dispatch [St. Louis, MO], by Eric H. Holder Jr.

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 8/19/2014 6:43:40 PM

Since the Aug. 9 shooting death of Michael Brown, the nation and the world have witnessed the unrest that has gripped Ferguson, Mo. At the core of these demonstrations is a demand for answers about the circumstances of this young man’s death and a broader concern about the state of our criminal justice system. At a time when so much may seem uncertain, the people of Ferguson can have confidence that the Justice Department intends to learn — in a fair and thorough manner — exactly what happened. Today, I will be in Ferguson to be briefed on the federal civil rights

Vigilante lynching, ghetto style. Holder clearly shows that the White House (0bama) verdict is in and it´s, "Guilty." Racist swine.

Based on the actions of the people of Ferguson one can only surmise that Brown was a thug since he comes from a community of thugs...

A message to Eric Holder:

The federal government has no business interfering with the situation in Ferguson. Simply by being there, you are showing extreme prejudice, and your words are making things worse.

I expect to see this happen all over America for the next three months. This is a way to rile up their base and to register voters. Who knows maybe if Obamas´ armys, The black panthers, acorn etc burn down America then Obama can declare martial law. Anyone who has been paying attention knew this would happen years ago.I don´t blame the poor blacks in these community´s, I blame the agitators the shyster lawyers that are being bused in. I also blame the media for their lying one sided reporting.

This is a big mistake on Holder´s part. He is leaving himself open, to looking like a fool and/or a racial bigot.

If a shot was fired off in the car, gunshot residue and a bullet hole will be found inside the car. The officer suffered a bad injury, from a blow to the eye. Worse yet (for Holder), witnesses are coming forward vouching for the officer´s actions.

Unfortunately, many have traded their freedom The act out the ´feelings´ they have been indoctrinated with. They may be pawns but they are willing pawns.

I can hardly wait to see this Pathetic excuse of a Man Eric Holder brought to Justice by the American People. He is a perfect example of everything that is wrong with this Regime. Being black does not give him an excuse to ignore the rule of Law. And he and his Buddy Barry have grossly miscalculated the response that WE THE PEOPLE will inflict upon them . Once they are in OUR CUSTODY. This is not going to end well for a bunch of People who think they are immune from Justice. WE PROMISE!

FTA: Enforcement priorities and arrest patterns must not lead to disparate treatment under the law, even if such treatment is unintended. And police forces should reflect the diversity of the communities they serve.

Holder´s new favorite words "disparate treatment" which is used heavily by this DOJ and means "is when an individual of a protected group is shown to have been singled out and treated less favorably than others."

The former mayor of Ferguson was on Fox this morning and said they had asked for applications for black police officers and did not receive any. Could you visualize any of those thugs we have seen on TV as police officers?? I think not. They are so intent in diversifying everything without considering there aren´t any qualified minority individuals available.

Holder is Obama´s representative to the black community because Obama does not consider himself one of them and has no intention of finding himself in a photo op with racist thugs. Holder is racist enough for both of them and has never hid the fact. This is what comes of minorities trying to rule majorities.

But 80% of the killings are black on black and he does nothing while the black community kills and kills and kills and there is not even a peep about gun control.

#6 is spot on. Look for the regime to take every opportunity to get the lock-step Black vote motivated and turned out to vote in Nov. But I think they already suspect that Ferguson will not fulfill that promise of being a Black vote motivator. They can see this will be more of a Louis Gates dust-up situation where a good copy has been mistakenly maligned, this time by the media and the Governor. But it will take much more than a Beer Summit to smooth out this overwrought madness in Ferguson.

Read this article and tell me Holder hasn´t already decided how this will end. Just like in the Zimmerman case, the facts are strongly in favor of the shooter, but these race baiters will ignore. The narrative has been set. Just listen to Holder and the Missouri governor. As they say... The fix is in.

Absolutely, the fix is in on this. From the start the Dimocrat Governor and the DOJ decided the cop is guilty. Twelve witnesses is not enough to stop the DOJ, which sent agitators to start the riots (on our dime no less!). Holder must be impeached and jailed.

Doesn´t he get whiplash from all that whipping from one position to another? Rarely have I seen so much "on the one hand, this" and "on the other hand, that" waffling.

Although these acts have been committed by a very small minority — and, in many cases, by individuals from outside Ferguson — they seriously undermine, rather than advance, the cause of justice. And they interrupt the deeper conversation that the legitimate demonstrators are trying to advance.

"...deeper conversation"? What deeper conversation? And who is doing the conversing? Is this implication that there is persistent white-on-black racism in the police department? Gee, a black police officer in charge of TV statements on this killing and yet, there´s still institutionalized racism in the police dept?

At what point does the film of the robbery and the assault against the storekeeper, committed by the Gentle Giant, and the broken eye socket of the police officer who shot him indicate that GG wasn´t just a big, innocent teddy bear surrendering with his hands up?

Are we supposed to view this video of the robbery and dissociate it from GG´s behavior toward the police? See no evil?

Sorry, Eric, you can´t have it both ways: Either you instinctively believe the police are racists or you give them, not a thief and doper the benefit of the doubt.

What ever became of the civil rights case against the New Black Panthers that were interfering in the peoples voting rights in PA? Answer-NOTHING with no explanation. How about when Eric worked for Bubba under AG Janet Reno he helped pardon Marc Rich & the FALN gang of murderers. This is what we are dealing with and he supposed to be the top cop of the USA>

The only way this stops is to organize better then them and we haven´t got to that point yet. When the economy falls apart that may turn out to be a blessing.

I´m guessing there is a pattern here. Think about it, our soldiers cannot be armed. Maybe the administration is looking to disarm our police. Mentally and physically. Isn´t that the basic message coming out of Ferguson - we can´t trust the police? This administration is floating between community organizing and backing up the police force. Like everything Obama has done, he is "present" on this one.

notice how fast obama and holder can re-act to this shooting, but cannot make a phone call to close the borders.

From what I have read since the so called disturbances started most of the people arrested during the rioting are from out of town. Not only that, but agitators are wearing facial coverings with a preprinted statement that says... ´no justice, no peace´.

This isn´t an incidental riot, but something preplanned for when the circumstances arise. I suspect that Ferguson is a victim of a planned assault. It isn´t incidental that ISIS signs suddenly pop up. On top of that, Holder is a worthless accessory.

Chances are the liberal Democrats are going to be out there without any clothes as they go about pushing their anti law enforcement liberal agenda, as this matter goes forth in the criminal justice system. There is no doubt that big Mike was the aggressor and a bully from the time he perpetrated a strong armed robbery and ten minutes later assaulted a police officer causing the officer to sustain a serious injury to his eye socket.

Chances are the officer could not even see out of that eye or had double vision at the time big Mike bull rushed him as the fatal shots were fired that brought big Mike down in front of the officer. Since an officer always has the right to protect himself from serious bodily injury or death in the line of duty, when all the evidence comes out, and if liberal Democrat politics does not corrupt and undermine the grand jury process, this officer should not be indicted.

The Eternal Presumption

At the very end of Matt Bai’s New York Times Magazine feature about Gary Hart that could be titled “Hart-less: The Original Bimbo Eruption,” there’s a short passage that puts on full display the irrepressible presumption of liberalism—or perhaps it’s another example of Bush Derangement Syndrome. Here’s how the piece ends: “It’s what he could have done for this country that I think bothers him to this very day,” Lee [Hart] said. “Well, at the very least, George W. Bush wouldn’t have been president,” [Gary] Hart said ruefully. This sounded a little narcissistic, but it was, in fact, a hard premise to

With his decision to use force against the violent extremists of the Islamic State, President Obama is doing more than to knowingly enter a quagmire. He is doing more than play with the fates of two half-broken countries—Iraq and Syria—whose societies were gutted long before the Americans appeared on the horizon. Obama is stepping once again—and with understandably great reluctance—into the chaos of an entire civilization that has broken down. Arab civilization, such as we knew it, is all but gone. The Arab world today is more violent, unstable, fragmented and driven by extremism—the extremism of the rulers and those in

The 2014 November midterm elections are nearly here, and Democratic and Republican candidates across the country are bracing for the inevitable conclusion to months of campaigning. But even as certain forecast models downgrade the GOP’s chances for taking Congress’ upper chamber, several recent polls signal that Republicans will indeed walk away from November with many victories and perhaps a Senate majority. Here are the top nine polls from this week that hint at good news for the GOP: Colorado: In a Quinnipiac survey released Thursday, Rep. Cory Gardner, R-Colo., holds a 48 percent to 40 percent lead over Democratic Sen.

FOR THE sake of the cameras, President Obama assured Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko at a White House meeting Thursday that “not only do we support Ukraine’s sovereignty and independence in words, but we’ve also been supporting it in deeds.” If only that were true. The reality is that the beleaguered Ukrainian leader left Washington backed by considerable rhetoric from the Obama administration but little with which he can turn back the continuing Russian aggression against his country. In an emotional address to Congress, Mr. Poroshenko described Ukraine as fighting for Western democratic values as well as its own survival, and he

The man who was the top Marine general from 2006 until his retirement in 2010 says President Barack Obama’s strategy to defeat the terrorist group the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria is doomed to fail. “I don’t think the president’s plan has a snowball’s chance in hell of succeeding,” retired Marine General James Conway, who served as the 34th Commandant of the Marine Corps during the end of the Bush administration and the beginning of the Obama administration, said at the Maverick PAC Conference in Washington, D.C. Friday, according to a source in attendance. Maverick PAC has described itself

The seven-month scandal that is threatening Roger Goodell´s future as NFL commissioner began with an unexpected phone call in the early morning hours on a Saturday in February. Just hours after running back Ray Rice knocked out his then-fiancée with a left hook at the Revel Hotel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the Baltimore Ravens´ director of security, Darren Sanders, reached an Atlantic City police officer by phone. While watching surveillance video -- shot from inside the elevator where Rice´s punch knocked his fiancée unconscious -- the officer, who told Sanders he just happened to be a Ravens fan, described

The family of Glen Doherty, the former Navy SEAL killed in the 2012 Benghazi terror attack, has filed a $2 million claim against the CIA and the State Department. Barbara Doherty, the CIA contractor and former SEAL’s mother, filed a claim last week with the two government agencies for $1 million each. The family does not believe there was adequate security at the U.S. diplomatic outpost and a CIA annex when they were attacked Sept. 11, 2012. Dean Boyd, a spokesman for the CIA, said the agency would have no comment on the potential litigation, the Associated Press reported Friday. The

The conventional wisdom concerning the comparative generalship of Robert E. Lee and Ulysses S. Grant was established almost immediately after the Civil War. Despite his role as, in the words of Frederick Douglass, “the rebel chieftain,” Lee has been portrayed as surpassing all others on both sides of the conflict not only in soldierly virtue but also in magnanimity and humanity. Indeed, for decades, no Civil War figure, not even Abraham Lincoln, has exceeded the reputation of Robert E. Lee. Lee has been described as the perfect soldier — a Christian and a gentleman as well as a peerless commander who

WASHINGTON — Kurdish fighters battling ISIS desperately want more guns and armor, but they already have a secret weapon: The fanatics they’re fighting fear that if they get killed in combat by a woman, they won’t go to heaven. “They have many female battalions, as you know who fought very bravely,” Rep. Ed Royce (R-Calif.), who chairs the House International Relations Committee, told The Post of the Kurds. Royce, who met this week with the foreign minister of Kurdistan, cited recent reports of young female Kurdish troops “laughing” at ISIS forces they had turned back. “These ISIL soldiers apparently believed that if

With little fanfare, President Obama has enjoyed remarkable success in his project to remake the federal courts in his own ideological image. How much more he achieves during his final two years in office depends in large part on whether Republicans win control of the Senate this November. Obama’s success is most marked in the federal courts of appeals, the intermediate level of the national judicial hierarchy. When Obama took office, only 1 of the 13 appellate courts had a majority of Democratic appointees. Now 9 do. Obama’s number of confirmed appellate nominees—53—only slightly exceeds President George W. Bush’s six-year total

I know I’ve written this post before but it’s something I’ve been thinking about amid all the “Condi for NFL commissioner!” stuff lately. (And besides, after two years, it’s due for an update.) Why commissioner and not GOP nominee? The 2016 field is “insanely wide open,” after all, and she’s got plenty to commend her — sterling academic credentials, years of diplomatic experience at the highest level, popularity among both wings of the GOP, and a trailblazer narrative that can trump even Hillary’s. She’d be seen, rightly or wrongly, as the “adult” in a field of Republican neophytes, someone whose

The American people’s reaction to Muslim thugs of the “Islamic State” ritually knifing off the heads of people who look like you and me boils down to “let’s destroy these bastards”—which is common sense. But our ruling class, from President Obama on the Left to The Wall Street Journal on the Right, take the public’s pressure to do this as another occasion for further indulging their longtime preferences, prejudices, and proclivities for half-measures in foreign affairs—the very things that have invited people from all over the planet to join hunting season on Americans. This indulgence so overwhelms our ruling class’s perception

Flashes of disagreement over how to fight the Islamic State are mounting between President Obama and U.S. military leaders, the latest sign of strain in what often has been an awkward and uneasy relationship. Even as the administration has received congressional backing for its strategy, with the Senate voting Thursday to approve a plan to arm and train Syrian rebels, a series of military leaders have criticized the president’s approach against the Islamic State militant group. Retired Marine Gen. James Mattis, who served under Obama until last year, became the latest high-profile skeptic on Thursday, telling the House Intelligence Committee

Devastating. That´s really the only way to describe Politico´s piece on DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. (I hereby nominate her for Worst Week in Washington.) (Editor´s note: Three words -- Joseph. Robinette. Biden.) Based on interviews with DNC staffers -- both former and current -- the piece described Wasserman Schultz as something of a modern-day Tracy Flick: over-eager, disloyal and not shy about promoting her ambitions. It would be fair to say that she sounds like, well, a lot like other politicians. And this would be accurate. But the wholesale bashing of Wasserman Schultz at every level of the party -- White House,

But, he says, “I am sure of my position…here is a simple truth that many of us seem to resist: living too long is also a loss. It renders many of us, if not disabled, then faltering and declining, a state that may not be worse than death but

The U.S Senate passed a bill Thursday evening that will give President Barack Obama the authority to arm moderate Syrian rebels, which is a key part of his plan to fight the jihadist group Islamic State (also known as ISIS and ISIL). Shortly after the Senate passed the bill, which was passed by the House on Wednesday, Obama spoke from the White House. "I´m pleased that Congress, a majority of Democrats and a majority of Republicans in both the House and Senate, have now voted to support a key element of our strategy," Obama said. That rare respiratory illness sickening children around the country continues to crop up in new places. It has been confirmed in 22 states, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Friday, appearing in three states where it had not been previously: Georgia, Michigan and Washington state. These children are facing an uncommon enterovirus strain. While enteroviruses in general are quite common, this particular strain — enterovirus 68 — has not cropped up terribly often since it was first identified in 1962. It can cause severe breathing problems, a particular danger for children who may suffer from asthma or other

On Thursday In a session with the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Secretary of State John Kerry was asked by Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) whether America was at war in Iraq and Syria. We’re happy to call it that.” So its official: America is at war with the enemy of Islam. However, strange bedfellows arise if the Obama administration so chooses to uphold Kerry’s claim that we are at war with the enemy(s) of Islam. The following displays that Secretary

(Video)Friday during the White House press briefing, National Security Advisor Susan Rice abruptly left in the middle of a question after confusing reporters with her announcement President Barack Obama was going ahead with air strikes in Syria. When reporters began to grill Rice about whether the president had already given the authorization to the militarily to bomb in Syria, Rice kept repeating they would not be releasing information on the timing of those air strikes. Reporters continued to push with several trying to explain their question is if the president has already given authorization. Laughing uncomfortably Rice exited the room

A man who’s a better speechwriter than his speechwriters, a better political director than his political directors, and who knows more about policy than his policy advisors must surely also be a better general than his generals, no? The U.S. military campaign against Islamist militants in Syria is being designed to allow President Barack Obama to exert a high degree of personal control, going so far as to require that the military obtain presidential signoff for strikes in Syrian territory, officials said. The requirements for strikes in Syria against the extremist group Islamic State will be far more stringent than those targeting
