Amid what is expected to be a flurry of negative TV ads in Iowa´s U.S. Senate race over the coming weeks, the National Republican Senatorial Committee is going positive with a 7-minute web video about GOP candidate Joni Ernst. The web-only video is being rolled out today, and is part of a series describing biographies of Republican Senate candidates from across the country. The NRSC is a national group that supports GOP Senate candidates in close contests across the country. Ernst´s race against Democratic U.S. Rep. Bruce Braley for the seat opened by U.S. Sen. Tom Harkin´s retirement is expected

Not enough. I live in NE, and the disgusting anti-Joni Ernst radio spots are, literally, running non-stop. I know very little about the woman, but I wouldn´t hesitate to vote FOR her just because of these ads.

The web video is a nice idea, but it´s totally useless. The 2.3 million dollar ad buy will help. The election is only 11 weeks away. It´s time to pound the Rats into submission.

What would America look like if the Koch brothers were in charge? American Bridge, a George Soros-funded outfit recently described by Democratic strategist Paul Begala as an army of “nerd virgins” who have never tasted alcohol or gotten laid, thinks it would be pretty awful. (Video) LIE: The Koch brothers kill bald eagles. FACT: This is an egregious falsehood that clearly seeks to whitewash the Obama administration’s bloodstained record. For years, President Obama has waged a ruthless genocide against the majestic bald eagle, enlisting weaponized “green energy” devices such as wind turbines. Here’s how a spokesman for People for the

Eleven months after the Obama administration launched healthcare.gov and just weeks before the open enrollment period to sign up for insurance policies created by the Affordable Care Act begins, Obama officials are touting the health care law and tamping down expectations, including the problem-plagued website. “You need to understand that this is going to be a year of substantial improvement,” Cecilia Munoz, assistant to the president and director of the Domestic Policy Council, said Wednesday at an “outreach” event at the Kaiser Family Foundation in Washington, D.C. “It’s not going to be a year of perfection.”

As part of the Today show´s new series At Home with Today, the 32-year-old opened the doors to the room in her Manhattan loft, which features exposed brick, an art collection and a rather un-girly sky blue theme. ´I was actually so certain that I was having a boy that we painted the room a neutral blue,´ Jenna explained. ´Even though it´s blue, it still has a feminine touch.´ While it may not be the girliest space, Jenna and her husband Henry Hager

WASHINGTON— Smart people in the administration have spent the last two days telling the American people that U.S. strikes against the Khorasan Group were necessary to disrupt "imminent attack plotting" against U.S. and Western interests. They warned that members of the shadowy Khorasan Group, an al-Qaida offshoot, were "nearing the execution phase" of an attack in the U.S. or Europe. They spoke of "active plotting that posed an imminent threat." People may have come away with the impression that the terror group was on the brink of pulling off something awful. Perhaps not. In government-speak, "imminent attack plotting" doesn´t necessarily mean

The sprawling Navajo reservation, located in parts of Arizona, Utah and New Mexico, is the largest and most populous Indian reservation, with 14 million acres of trust

President Barack Obama saluted a pair of United States Marines on Tuesday while holding what appeared to be a styrofoam cup in his saluting hand, a breach of military regulations that won´t win him fans among veterans and servicemen. Obama is known for drinking tea, not coffee, when he travels, especially before delivering speeches. His quasi-saluting gesture was an instant embarrassment for the White House, and not because his environmentally taboo drinkware clashed with the green-policy speech he was on his way to deliver at a UN Climate Summit. His speech mixed high-flown sentiment with apologies for America, and pledged American sacrifice in the name of a lofty goal without evidence that such sacrifice would in any way contribute to attaining that goal. In other words, it was a typical Barack Obama whirligig. Even as American warplanes struck targets in Syria, even as regimes tottered in Jordan and Iraq and Yemen,

Rush Limbaugh apparently tips generously, which sometimes makes people who dislike him feel quite awkward. Merritt Tierce, whose debut novel Love Me Back chronicles her time at a high-end Dallas steakhouse, revealed in an interview with Dallas News that, at the time, she was also the executive director of the Texas Equal Abortion (TEA) Fund, which provides financial assistance to low-income women seeking abortions.

If so, this means Chelsea Clinton’s favorite animal could be something her child would never know. “The child Marc and I

One of them—the last—was less good, given he had gone MIA for the better part of three weeks and I had a sneaking suspicion he had a girlfriend. We hadn’t slept together, but the kisses had been the type of kisses you walk away from with shaky knees and blind hope. There was something there, and we both knew it, which is why we are attempting to hash things out over the phone at some ungodly hour.

The Republican Party’s top leader in Congress is catching flak for a comment that appears to call the jobless lazy – a comment that has rekindled an old challenge for the party: appearing insensitive or uncaring toward Americans who are poor or in financial difficulty. House Speaker John Boehner was asked after a speech last week to comment on a plan for addressing poverty – promoted by a Republican colleague, Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin. Speaker Boehner gave a response that was favorable toward Representative Ryan´s plan, but not so favorable about Americans’ work ethic.
